this matter is in the hands of your lord .
( የዕውቀት ) መጨረሻዋ ወደ ጌታህ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡

and the apostles and elders came together for to consider of this matter.
ሐዋርያትና ሽማግሌዎችም ስለዚህ ነገር ለመማከር ተሰበሰቡ።

thou hast neither part nor lot in this matter: for thy heart is not right in the sight of god.
ልብህ በእግዚአብሔር ፊት የቀና አይደለምና ከዚህ ነገር ዕድል ወይም ፈንታ የለህም።

for every congregation we have appointed acts of devotion , which they observe . so do not let them dispute with you in this matter .
ለየሕዝቡ ሁሉ እነሱ የሚሠሩበት የኾነን ሥርዓተ ሃይማኖት አድርገናል ፡ ፡ ስለዚህ በነገሩ አይከራከሩህ ፡ ፡ ወደ ጌታህ መንገድም ጥራ ፡ ፡ አንተ በእርግጥ በቅኑ መንገድ ላይ ነህና ፡ ፡

and when they heard of the resurrection of the dead, some mocked: and others said, we will hear thee again of this matter.
የሙታንንም ትንሣኤ በሰሙ ጊዜ እኵሌቶቹ አፌዙበት፥ እኵሌቶቹ ግን። ስለዚህ ነገር ሁለተኛ እንሰማሃለን አሉት።

let them not dispute with you on this matter . call them to the path of your lord -- for surely , you are rightly guided --
ለየሕዝቡ ሁሉ እነሱ የሚሠሩበት የኾነን ሥርዓተ ሃይማኖት አድርገናል ፡ ፡ ስለዚህ በነገሩ አይከራከሩህ ፡ ፡ ወደ ጌታህ መንገድም ጥራ ፡ ፡ አንተ በእርግጥ በቅኑ መንገድ ላይ ነህና ፡ ፡

she said , “ o counselors , advise me in this matter of mine . i never make a decision unless you are present . ”
« እናንተ መማክርቶች ሆይ ! በነገሬ ( የሚበጀውን ) ንገሩኝ ፡ ፡ እስከምትገኙልኝ ድረስ አንድንም ነገር ቆራጭ አይደለሁምና » አለች ፡ ፡

advise me , o nobles , " she said " in this matter . i do not decide any thing until you concur . "
« እናንተ መማክርቶች ሆይ ! በነገሬ ( የሚበጀውን ) ንገሩኝ ፡ ፡ እስከምትገኙልኝ ድረስ አንድንም ነገር ቆራጭ አይደለሁምና » አለች ፡ ፡

he sent the book with them for a genuine purpose to provide the people with the ruling about disputed matters among them . no one disputed this matter except those who had already received evidence before .
ሰዎቹ ሁሉ አንድ ሕዝብ ነበሩ ፤ ( ተለያዩ ) ፡ ፡ አላህም ነቢያትን አብሳሪዎችና አስፈራሪዎች አድርጎ ላከ ፡ ፡ ከእነርሱም ጋር መጻሕፍትን በሰዎቹ መካከል በዚያ በርሱ በተለያዩበት ነገር ይፈርድ ዘንድ በእውነት አወረደ ፡ ፡ በእርሱም ( በሃይማኖት ) ግልጽ አስረጂዎች ከመጡላቸው በኋላ በመካከላቸው ለኾነው ምቀኝነት እነዚያው የተሰጡት እንጂ አልተለያዩበትም ፡ ፡ አላህም እነዚያን ያመኑትን ሰዎች ለእዚያ ከእውነት በርሱ ለተለያዩበት በፍቃዱ መራቸው ፡ ፡ አላህም የሚሻውን ሰው ወደ ቀጥተኛው መንገድ ይመራል ፡ ፡

she said , “ o chieftains , advise me in this matter of mine ; i do not give a final decision until you are present with me . ”
« እናንተ መማክርቶች ሆይ ! በነገሬ ( የሚበጀውን ) ንገሩኝ ፡ ፡ እስከምትገኙልኝ ድረስ አንድንም ነገር ቆራጭ አይደለሁምና » አለች ፡ ፡

‘ o abraham , let this matter alone ! your lord s edict ’ has certainly come , and an irrevocable punishment shall overtake them . ’
« ኢብራሂም ሆይ ! ከዚህ ( ክርክር ) ተው ፡ ፡ እነሆ የጌታህ ትዕዛዝ በእርግጥ መጥቷል ፡ ፡ እነሱም የማይመለስ ቅጣት የሚመጣባቸው ናቸው » ( አሉት ) ፡ ፡

allah knows well the one who means harm and also the one who means good . if allah had willed he would have been hard upon you in this matter for he is all-powerful but he is at the same time ali-wise .
በቅርቢቱ ዓለምና በመጨረሻይቱ ታስተነትኑ ዘንድ ( ይገለጽላችኋል ) ፡ ፡ ከየቲሞችም ይጠይቁሃል ፡ ፡ « ለእነርሱ ( ገንዘባቸውን በማራባት ) ማሳመር በላጭ ነው ፡ ፡ ብትቀላቀሏቸውም ወንድሞቻችሁ ናቸው ፡ ፡ አላህም የሚያጠፋውን ከሚያበጀው ( ለይቶ ) ያውቃል ፡ ፡ አላህም በሻ ኖሮ ባስቸገራችሁ ነበር ፤ አላህ አሸናፊ ጥበበኛ ነውና » በላቸው ፡ ፡

( after reading the letter ) the queen said : " nobles , let me have your counsel in this matter for i make no firm decision without you . "
« እናንተ መማክርቶች ሆይ ! በነገሬ ( የሚበጀውን ) ንገሩኝ ፡ ፡ እስከምትገኙልኝ ድረስ አንድንም ነገር ቆራጭ አይደለሁምና » አለች ፡ ፡

neither they nor their fathers had any knowledge of such utterance ( that god has begotten a son ) . whatever they say about ( this matter ) is vicious blasphemy and plain lies .
ለእነሱም ለአባቶቻቸውም በርሱ ምንም እውቀት የላቸውም ፡ ፡ ከአፎቻቸው የምትወጣውን ቃል ምን አከበዳት ! ውሸትን እንጂ አይናገሩም ፡ ፡

but whoever disputes with you in this matter after what has come to you of knowledge , then say : come let us call our sons and your sons and our women and your women and our near people and your near people , then let us be earnest in prayer , and pray for the curse of allah on the liars .
ዕውቀቱም ከመጣልህ በኋላ በርሱ ( በዒሳ ) የተከራከሩህን ሰዎች « ኑ ፤ ልጆቻችንንና ልጆቻችሁን ፣ ሴቶቻችንንና ሴቶቻችሁንም ፣ ነፍሶቻችንንና ነፍሶቻችሁንም እንጥራ ፡ ፡ ከዚያም አጥብቀን አላህን እንለምን ፤ የአላህንም ቁጣ በውሸታሞቹ ላይ እናድርግ » በላቸው ፡ ፡

you should not , however , regard this matter as evil for it has good in it for you . whoso took any part in this , he earned his share of the sin accordingly , and the one , who had the greatest share of responsibility in it , shall have a terrible punishment .
እነዚያ መጥፎን ውሸት ያመጡ ከናንተው የኾኑ ጭፍሮች ናቸው ፡ ፡ ለእናንተ ክፉ ነገር ነው ብላችሁ አታስቡት ፡ ፡ በእውነቱ እርሱ ለእናንተ መልካም ነገር ነው ፡ ፡ ከእነርሱ ( ከጭፍሮቹ ) ለያንዳንዱ ሰው ከኀጢአት የሠራው ሥራ ዋጋ አለው ፡ ፡ ያም ከእነሱ ትልቁን ኀጢአት የተሸከመው ለእርሱ ከባድ ቅጣት አለው ፡ ፡

and remember when allah took a covenant from the prophets ; “ if i give you the book and knowledge and the ( promised ) noble messenger ( prophet mohammed peace and – blessings be upon him ) comes to you , confirming the books you possess , you shall positively , definitely believe in him and you shall positively , definitely help him ” ; he said , “ do you agree , and accept my binding responsibility in this matter ? ” they all answered , “ we agree ” ; he said , “ then bear witness amongst yourselves , and i myself am a witness with you . ”
አላህ የነቢያትን ቃል ኪዳን ከመጽሐፍና ከጥበብ ሰጥቻችሁ ከዚያም « ከእናንተ ጋር ላለው ( መጽሐፍ ) የሚያረጋግጥ መልክተኛ ቢመጣላችሁ በርሱ በእርግጥ እንደምታምኑበት በእርግጥም እንድትረዱት ሲል በያዘ ጊዜ ( አስታውስ ) ፡ ፡ አረጋገጣችሁን በዚህም ላይ ኪዳኔን ያዛችሁምን » አላቸው ፡ ፡ « አረጋገጥን » አሉ ፡ ፡ « እንግዲያስ መስክሩ ፤ እኔም ከእናንተ ጋር ከመስካሪዎቹ ነኝ » አላቸው ፡ ፡
