and when our verses are recited to them , they say : ' we have heard . we could , if we willed , compose the like of it .
አንቀጾቻችንም በነሱ ላይ በተነበቡ ጊዜ « በእርግጥ ሰምተናል ፤ በሻን ኖሮ የዚህን ብጤ ባልን ነበር ፤ ይህ የመጀመሪያዎቹ ሰዎች ጽሑፍ ተረቶች እንጂ ሌላ አይደለም » ይላሉ ፡ ፡

when our messages were read out to them , they said : " we have heard . we could certainly compose ( writings ) like them if we choose .
አንቀጾቻችንም በነሱ ላይ በተነበቡ ጊዜ « በእርግጥ ሰምተናል ፤ በሻን ኖሮ የዚህን ብጤ ባልን ነበር ፤ ይህ የመጀመሪያዎቹ ሰዎች ጽሑፍ ተረቶች እንጂ ሌላ አይደለም » ይላሉ ፡ ፡

' hast thou not seen how god drives the clouds , then composes them , then converts them into a mass , then thou seest the rain issuing out of the midst of them ? and he sends down out of heaven mountains , wherein is hail , so that he smites whom he will with it , and turns it aside from whom he will ; wellnigh the gleam of his lightning snatches away the sight .
አላህ ደመናን የሚነዳ መኾኑን አላየህምን ከዚያም ከፊሉን ከከፊሉ ያገናኛል ፡ ፡ ከዚያም የተደራረበ ያደርገዋል ፡ ፡ ዝናቡንም ከመካከሉ የሚወጣ ኾኖ ታየዋለህ ፡ ፡ ከሰማይም ( ከደመና ) በውስጧ ካሉት ጋራዎች በረዶን ያወርዳል ፡ ፡ በእርሱም የሚሻውን ሰው ( በጉዳት ) ይነካል ፡ ፡ ከሚሻውም ሰው ላይ ይመልሰዋል ፡ ፡ የብልጭታው ብርሃን ዓይኖችን ሊወስድ ይቀርባል ፡ ፡
