እነርሱም ብዙ ጊዜ እንዲቀመጥላቸው ሲለምኑት እሺ አላለም፤

and when we made a covenant with you , that you shall not shed your blood or turn yourselves out of your dwellings , to this you consented and bore witness .
ደሞቻችሁን አታፍስሱ ነፍሶቻችሁንም ( ከፊላችሁን ) ከአገሮቻችሁ አታውጡ የምንል ስንኾን የጠበቀ ቃል ኪዳናችሁን በያዝንባችሁ ጊዜ ( አስታውሱ ) ፡ ፡ ከዚያም ( በኪዳኑ ) አረጋገጣችሁ ፤ እናንተም ትመሰክራላችሁ ፡ ፡

or have they other deities who have ordained for them a religion to which allah has not consented ? but if not for the decisive word , it would have been concluded between them .
ከሃይማኖት አላህ በእርሱ ያልፈቀደውን ለእነርሱ የደነገጉ ተጋሪዎች ለእነርሱ አልሏቸውን ? የፍርዱ ቃል ባልነበረ ኖሮ በመካከላቸው ( አሁን ) በተፈረደ ነበር ፡ ፡ በደለኞችም ለእነርሱ አሳማሚ ቅጣት በእርግጥ አልላቸው ፡ ፡

(the same had not consented to the counsel and deed of them;) he was of arimathaea, a city of the jews: who also himself waited for the kingdom of god.
