verily your endeavour is diverse .
ሥራችሁ በእርግጥ የተለያየ ነው ፡ ፡

ለሥራቸው ተደሳቾች ናቸው ፡ ፡

that your endeavour is for different ends .
ሥራችሁ በእርግጥ የተለያየ ነው ፡ ፡

and that he will soon be shown his endeavour ,
ሥራውም ሁሉ ወደ ፊት ይታያል ፡ ፡

and that his endeavour shall be presently observed .
ሥራውም ሁሉ ወደ ፊት ይታያል ፡ ፡

nor cease to endeavour praising him night and day .
በሌሊትና በቀንም ያጠሩታል ፤ አያርፉም ፡ ፡

this is your reward . your endeavour is fully acknowledged .
« ይህ በእርግጥ ለእናንተ ዋጋ ኾነ ፡ ፡ ሥራችሁም ምስጉን ኾነ ፤ » ( ይባላሉ ) ፡ ፡

behold , this is your recompense and your endeavour has been appreciated .
« ይህ በእርግጥ ለእናንተ ዋጋ ኾነ ፡ ፡ ሥራችሁም ምስጉን ኾነ ፤ » ( ይባላሉ ) ፡ ፡

verily this is for you by way of recompense , and your endeavour hath been accepted .
« ይህ በእርግጥ ለእናንተ ዋጋ ኾነ ፡ ፡ ሥራችሁም ምስጉን ኾነ ፤ » ( ይባላሉ ) ፡ ፡

so obey not the disbelievers , but strive against them herewith with a great endeavour .
ከሓዲዎችንም አትታዘዛቸው ፡ ፡ በእርሱም ( በቁርኣን ) ታላቅን ትግል ታገላቸው ፡ ፡

and those who endeavour to frustrate our signs , unto the torment they will be brought .
እነዚያም የሚያቅቱ መስሏቸው አንቀጾቻችንን ለማበላሸት የሚጥሩት እነዚያ በቅጣቱ ውስጥ የሚጣዱ ናቸው ፡ ፡

" verily this is a reward for you , and your endeavour is accepted and recognised . "
« ይህ በእርግጥ ለእናንተ ዋጋ ኾነ ፡ ፡ ሥራችሁም ምስጉን ኾነ ፤ » ( ይባላሉ ) ፡ ፡

and those who endeavour in respect of our signs to frustrate them- those shall be the fellows of flaming fire .
እነዚያም የሚያመልጡ መስሏቸው ተዓምራቶቻችንን በመንቀፍ የተጉ እነሱ የእሳት ጓዶች ናቸው ፡ ፡

indeed the hour is bound to come : i will have it hidden , so that every soul may be rewarded for its endeavour .
« ሰዓቲቱ በእርግጥ መጪናት ፡ ፡ ልደብቃት እቃረባለሁ ፡ ፡ ነፍስ ሁሉ በምትሠራው ነገር ትመነዳ ዘንድ ( መጭ ናት ) ፡ ፡

" but he who desires the hereafter , and strives for it with a will , and is a believer , will be favoured for his endeavour .
መጨረሻይቱንም ዓለም የፈለገ ሰው እርሱ አማኝ ኾኖ ለርሷ ( ተገቢ ) ሥራዋን የሠራም ሰው እነዚህ ሥራቸው የተመሰገነ ይኾናል ፡ ፡

and whosoever does deeds of righteousness , being a believer , no unthankfulness shall befall his endeavour ; we ourselves write it down for him .
እርሱ ያመነ ኾኖ ከበጎ ሥራዎች ማንኛውንም የሚሠራም ሰው ፤ ምንዳውን አይነፈግም ፡ ፡ እኛም ለእርሱ መዝጋቢዎች ነን ፡ ፡

" verily the hour is coming - my design is to keep it hidden - for every soul to receive its reward by the measure of its endeavour .
« ሰዓቲቱ በእርግጥ መጪናት ፡ ፡ ልደብቃት እቃረባለሁ ፡ ፡ ነፍስ ሁሉ በምትሠራው ነገር ትመነዳ ዘንድ ( መጭ ናት ) ፡ ፡

so obey not the disbelievers , but strive against them ( by preaching ) with the utmost endeavour , with it ( the quran ) .
ከሓዲዎችንም አትታዘዛቸው ፡ ፡ በእርሱም ( በቁርኣን ) ታላቅን ትግል ታገላቸው ፡ ፡

( and it will be said to them ) : " verily , this is a reward for you , and your endeavour has been accepted . "
