nor expect , in giving , any increase ( for thyself ) !
ማብዛትንም የምትፈልግ ኾነህ ፤ ( በረከትን ) አትለግስለለ

it is he whom i expect to forgive my sins on the day of judgment .
ያም በፍርዱ ቀን ኀጢአቴን ለእኔ ሊምር የምከጅለው ነው ፡ ፡

i do not expect to receive any sustenance from them or that they should feed me .
ከነርሱም ምንም ሲሳይ አልፈልግም ፡ ፡ ሊመግቡኝም አልሻም ፡ ፡

these can expect only a single scream , from which there is no recovery .
እነዚህም ለእርሷ መመለስ የሌላትን አንዲትን ጩኸት እንጅ ሌላን አይጠባበቁም ፡ ፡

all they can expect is a single blast , which will seize them while they feud .
እነርሱ የሚከራከሩ ሲኾኑ በድንገት የምትይዛቸው የኾነችን አንዲትን ጩኸት እንጂ ሌላን አይጠባበቁም ፡ ፡

and we surely expect that our lord will forgive us our sins for we are the first ones to believe . "
« እኛ የምእምናን መጀመሪያ በመኾናችን ጌታችን ኀጢአቶቻችንን ለእኛ ሊምር እንከጅላለን ፡ ፡ »

can they expect anything but what the people before them had known ? say : " then wait .
የእነዚያን ከእነሱ በፊት ያለፉትን ሕዝቦች ቀኖች ብጤ እንጂ ሌላን ይጠባበቃሉን « ተጠባበቁ ፤ እኔ ከናንተ ጋር ከሚጠባበቁት ነኝ » በላቸው ፡ ፡

and will provide for him from where he does not expect . and whoever relies upon allah - then he is sufficient for him .
ከማያስበውም በኩል ሲሳየን ይሰጠዋል ፡ ፡ በአላህም ላይ የሚጠጋ ሰው እርሱ በቂው ነው ፡ ፡ አላህ ፈቃዱን አድራሽ ነው ፡ ፡ አላህ ለነገሩ ሁሉ የተወሰነ ጊዜን በእርግጥ አድርጓል ፡ ፡

and even if thou hast to turn away from them in pursuit of the mercy from thy lord which thou dost expect , yet speak to them a word of easy kindness .
ከጌታህም የምትከጅላትን ጸጋ ለማጣት ከእነርሱ ብትዞር ለእነሱ ልዝብን ቃል ተናገራቸው ፡ ፡

but god struck at the foundations of their building , and the roof fell down upon them from above . the punishment came upon them from where they did not expect .
እነዚያ ከእነሱ ( ከቁረይሾች ) በፊት የነበሩት በእርግጥ መከሩ ፡ ፡ አላህም ሕንጻዎቻቸውን ከመሠረቶቻቸው አፈረሰ ፡ ፡ ጣሪያውም በእነሱ ላይ ከበላያቸው ወደቀባቸው ፡ ፡ ቅጣቱም ከማያውቁት ሥፍራ መጣባቸው ፡ ፡

and do not falter in the pursuit of the enemy . if you are aching , they are aching as you are aching , but you expect from god what they cannot expect .
ሰዎቹንም በመፈለግ አትስነፉ ፡ ፡ ( ስትቆስሉ ) የምትታመሙ ብትኾኑ እናንተ እንደምትታመሙ እነሱም ይታመማሉ ፡ ፡ የማይከጅሉትንም ከአላህ ትከጅላላችሁ ፡ ፡ አላህም ዐዋቂ ጥበበኛ ነው ፡ ፡

and you did not expect that the book would be inspired to you , but it is a mercy from your lord , therefore be not a backer-up of the unbelievers .
መጽሐፉ ወዳንተ መወረዱን ተስፋ የምታደርግ አልነበርክም ፡ ፡ ግን ከጌታህ ችሮታ ( ተወረደልህ ) ፡ ፡ ለከሓዲዎችም በፍጹም ረዳት አትኹን ፡ ፡

and do not weaken in pursuit of the enemy . if you should be suffering - so are they suffering as you are suffering , but you expect from allah that which they expect not .
ሰዎቹንም በመፈለግ አትስነፉ ፡ ፡ ( ስትቆስሉ ) የምትታመሙ ብትኾኑ እናንተ እንደምትታመሙ እነሱም ይታመማሉ ፡ ፡ የማይከጅሉትንም ከአላህ ትከጅላላችሁ ፡ ፡ አላህም ዐዋቂ ጥበበኛ ነው ፡ ፡
