ከነርሱም ዙር ፡ ፡ ጠሪው ( መልአክ ) ወደ አስደንጋጭ ነገር የሚጠራበትን ቀን ( አስታውስ ) ፡ ፡

and when they turned in disdain from that forbidding we said to them , ' be you apes , miserably slinking ! '
ከእርሱም ከተከለከሉት ነገር በኮሩ ጊዜ ለእነሱ « ወረዶች ዝንጀሮች ኹኑ አልን ፤ » ( ኾኑም ) ፡ ፡

let there be one nation of you , calling to good , and bidding to honour , and forbidding dishonour ; those are the prosperers .
ከናንተም ወደ በጎ ነገር የሚጠሩ በመልካም ሥራም የሚያዙ ከክፉ ነገርም የሚከለክሉ ሕዝቦች ይኑሩ ፡ ፡ እነዚያም እነሱ የሚድኑ ናቸው ፡ ፡

there has to be a nation among you summoning to the good , bidding what is right , and forbidding what is wrong . it is they who are the felicitous .
ከናንተም ወደ በጎ ነገር የሚጠሩ በመልካም ሥራም የሚያዙ ከክፉ ነገርም የሚከለክሉ ሕዝቦች ይኑሩ ፡ ፡ እነዚያም እነሱ የሚድኑ ናቸው ፡ ፡

believing in god and in the last day , bidding to honour and forbidding dishonour , vying one with the other in good works ; those are of the righteous .
በአላህና በመጨረሻው ቀን ያምናሉ ፡ ፡ በጽድቅ ነገርም ያዛሉ ፡ ፡ ከመጥፎ ነገርም ይከለክላሉ ፡ ፡ በበጎ ሥራዎችም ይጣደፋሉ ፡ ፡ እነዚያም ከመልካሞቹ ናቸው ፡ ፡

let there arise out of you a band of people inviting to all that is good , enjoining what is right , and forbidding what is wrong : they are the ones to attain felicity .
