he said , ‘ do not take me to task for my forgetting , and do not be hard upon me . ’
« በረሳሁት ነገር አትያዘኝ ፡ ፡ ከነገሬም ችግርን አታሸክመኝ » አለው ፡ ፡

so taste the chastisement on account of your forgetting the encounter of this day . we , too , have forgotten you .
ይህንንም ቀናችሁን መገናኘትን በመርሳታችሁ ምክንያት ( ቅጣትን ) ቅመሱ ! እኛ ተውናችሁ ፡ ፡ ትሠሩት በነበራችሁትም ጥፋት ዘውታሪን ቅጣት ቅመሱ ( ይባላሉ ) ፡ ፡

he said , “ do not rebuke me for forgetting , and do not make my course difficult for me . ”
« በረሳሁት ነገር አትያዘኝ ፡ ፡ ከነገሬም ችግርን አታሸክመኝ » አለው ፡ ፡

moses said : " rebuke me not for forgetting , nor grieve me by raising difficulties in my case . "
« በረሳሁት ነገር አትያዘኝ ፡ ፡ ከነገሬም ችግርን አታሸክመኝ » አለው ፡ ፡

said moosa , “ do not apprehend me upon my forgetting , and do not impose difficulty on me in my task . ”
« በረሳሁት ነገር አትያዘኝ ፡ ፡ ከነገሬም ችግርን አታሸክመኝ » አለው ፡ ፡

do not follow ( worldly ) desires lest you go astray from the way of god . those who go astray from the way of god will suffer severe torment for forgetting the day of reckoning .
ዳውድ ሆይ ! እኛ በምድር ላይ ምትክ አድርገንሃልና በሰዎች መካከል በእውነት ፍረድ ፡ ፡ ዝንባሌሀንም አትከተል ፤ ከአላህ መንገድ ያሳሳትሃልና ፡ ፡ እነዚያ ከአላህ መንገድ የሚሳሳቱ የምርመራውን ቀን በመርሳታቸው ለእነርሱ ብርቱ ቅጣት አላቸው ፡ ፡

and he walked into his garden , and , ( forgetting ) his limit , said : " i cannot imagine that this will ever be ruined ,
እርሱም ነፍሱን በዳይ ኾኖ ወደ አትክልቱ ገባ ፡ ፡ « ይህች ዘለዓለም ትጠፋለች ብዬ አልጠረጥርም » አለ ፡ ፡

and he invents an example for us , while forgetting his own creation , saying , “ who is such that can revive the bones when they have completely rotted away ? ”
ለእኛም ምሳሌን አደረገልን ፡ ፡ መፈጠሩንም ረሳ ፡ ፡ « አጥንቶችን እነርሱ የበሰበሱ ሲኾኑ ሕያው የሚያደርጋቸው ማነው ? » አለ ፡ ፡

and who does more wrong than he who is reminded of the ayat ( proofs , evidences , verses , lessons , signs , revelations , etc . ) of his lord , but turns away from them forgetting what ( deeds ) his hands have sent forth . truly , we have set veils over their hearts lest they should understand this ( the quran ) , and in their ears , deafness .
በጌታውም አንቀጾች ከተገሰጸና ከእርሷ ከዞረ እጆቹም ያስቀደሙትን ነገር ከረሳ ሰው ይበልጥ በዳይ ማነው እኛ በልቦቻቸው ላይ እንዳያውቁት ሺፋኖችን በጆሮዎቻቸውም ውስጥ ድንቁርናን አደረግን ፡ ፡ ወደ መመራትም ብትጠራቸው ያን ጊዜ ፈጽሞ አይምመሩም ፡ ፡
