[ in gratitude ] for solidarity among the quraysh ,
ቁረይሽን ለማላመድ ( ባለዝሆኖቹን አጠፋ ) ፡ ፡

“ we only feed you for the sake of god . we want from you neither compensation , nor gratitude .
« የምናበላችሁ ለአላህ ውዴታ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ ከእናንተ ዋጋንም ማመስገንንም አንፈልግም ፡ ፡

and it is he who has made the night and the day in succession for whoever desires to remember or desires gratitude .
እርሱም ያ ( ያመለጠውን ሥራ ) ማስታወስን ለሚፈልግ ወይም ማመስገንን ለሚፈልግ ሰው ሌሊትንና ቀንን ተተካኪ ያደረገ ነው ፡ ፡

and indeed , your lord is full of bounty for the people , but most of them do not show gratitude . "
ጌታህም በሰዎች ላይ በእርግጥ የችሮታ ባለቤት ነው ፡ ፡ ግን አብዛኛዎቻቸው አያመሰግኑም ፡ ፡

and he it is who has put the night and the day in succession , for such who desires to remember or desires to show his gratitude .
እርሱም ያ ( ያመለጠውን ሥራ ) ማስታወስን ለሚፈልግ ወይም ማመስገንን ለሚፈልግ ሰው ሌሊትንና ቀንን ተተካኪ ያደረገ ነው ፡ ፡

and it is he who made the night and the day alternate — for whoever desires to reflect , or desires to show gratitude .
እርሱም ያ ( ያመለጠውን ሥራ ) ማስታወስን ለሚፈልግ ወይም ማመስገንን ለሚፈልግ ሰው ሌሊትንና ቀንን ተተካኪ ያደረገ ነው ፡ ፡

[ saying ] , " we feed you only for the countenance of allah . we wish not from you reward or gratitude .
« የምናበላችሁ ለአላህ ውዴታ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ ከእናንተ ዋጋንም ማመስገንንም አንፈልግም ፡ ፡

allah said to them , " die " ; then he restored them to life . and allah is full of bounty to the people , but most of the people do not show gratitude .
ወደ እነዚያ እነርሱ ብዙ ሺሕ ኾነው ሞትን ለመፍራት ከሀገሮቻቸው ወደ ወጡት ሰዎች ዕውቀትህ አልደረሰምን ? አላህም ለነርሱ « ሙቱ » አላቸው ፤ ( ሞቱም ) ፡ ፡ ከዚያም ሕያው አደረጋቸው ፡ ፡ አላህም በሰዎች ላይ ባለችሮታ ነው ፤ ግን አብዛኛዎቹ ሰዎች አያመሰግኑም ፡ ፡

" then will i assault them from before them and behind them , from their right and their left : nor wilt thou find , in most of them , gratitude ( for thy mercies ) . "
« ከዚያም ከስተፊቶቻቸው ከኋላቸውም ከቀኞቻቸውም ከግራዎቻቸውም በእርግጥ እመጣባቸዋለሁ ፡ ፡ አብዛኞቻቸውንም አመስጋኞች ኾነው አታገኛቸውም » ( አለ ) ፡ ፡
