የተዋረደው ወንድም ግን በከፍታው፥ ባለ ጠጋም በውርደቱ ይመካ፤ እንደ ሣር አበባ ያልፋልና።

do they say : " he is a poet for whom we expect an adverse turn of fortune ? "
ይልቁንም የሞትን አደጋ በእርሱ የምንጠባበቅበት የኾነ ባለ ቅኔ ነው ይላሉን ?

ሰውን ከፍትወት ጠብታ ፈጠረው ፡ ፡ ከዚያም እርሱ ወዲያውኑ ( ትንሣኤን በመካድ ) ግልጽ ተከራካሪ ይኾናል ፡ ፡

he is only a man in whom is a madness , so watch him for a while .
« እርሱ በእርሱ ዕብደት ያለበት ሰው እንጅ ሌላ አይደለም ፡ ፡ በእርሱም እስከ ጊዜ ( ሞቱ ) ድረስ ተጠባበቁ » ( አሉ ) ፡ ፡

and the fifth time , that the curse of allah be upon him if he is a liar .
አምስተኛይቱም ከውሸታሞች ቢኾን በእርሱ ላይ የአላህ እርግማን ይኑርበት ( ብሎ መመስከር ) ነው ፡ ፡

and the fifth time , that god ’ s curse be upon him , if he is a liar .
አምስተኛይቱም ከውሸታሞች ቢኾን በእርሱ ላይ የአላህ እርግማን ይኑርበት ( ብሎ መመስከር ) ነው ፡ ፡

and they turned away , saying , " he is a trained and insane person " .
ከዚያም ከእርሱ የዞሩ ፤ ( ከሰው ) « የተሰተማረ ዕብድ ነው » ያሉም ሲኾኑ ፡ ፡

hath the remembrance been given unto him alone among us ? nay , but he is a rash liar .
« ከኛ መካከል በእርሱ ላይ ( ብቻ ) ማስገንዘቢያ ( ራእይ ) ተጣለለትን ? አይደለም እርሱ ውሸታም ኩሩ ነው » ( አሉ ) ፡ ፡

and when he furnished them with their provision , he said : bring to me a brother of yours from your father ; do you not see that i give full measure and that i am the best of hosts ?
( ጉዳያቸውን ፈጽሞ ) ስንቃቸውንም ባዘጋጀላቸው ጊዜ አለ ፡ - « ከአባታችሁ በኩል የሆነውን ወንድማችሁን አምጡልኝ ፡ ፡ እኔ ከአስተናጋጆች ሁሉ በላጭ ስሆን ፤ ስፍርን የምሞላ መሆኔን አታዩምን

and when he had furnished them with their furnishing , he said : bring unto me a brother of your from your father behold ye not that i give full measure and that am the best of entertainers .
( ጉዳያቸውን ፈጽሞ ) ስንቃቸውንም ባዘጋጀላቸው ጊዜ አለ ፡ - « ከአባታችሁ በኩል የሆነውን ወንድማችሁን አምጡልኝ ፡ ፡ እኔ ከአስተናጋጆች ሁሉ በላጭ ስሆን ፤ ስፍርን የምሞላ መሆኔን አታዩምን
