then i seized the unbelievers , and how was my horror !
ከዚያም እነዚያን የካዱትን ያዝኳቸው ፡ ፡ ቅጣቴም እንዴት ነበር ! ( በስፍራው ነው ) ፡ ፡

those that were before them also cried lies ; then how was my horror !
እነዚያም ከእነርሱ በፊት የነበሩት በእርግጥ አስተባበሉ ፡ ፡ ጥላቻዬም እንዴት ነበር !

the human being will say ( in horror ) , " what is happening to it ? "
ሰውም ምን ኾነች ? ባለ ጊዜ ፤

so leave them alone till they meet their day , in which they will sink into a fainting ( with horror ) .
ያንንም በእርሱ የሚግገደሉበትን ቀናቸውን እስከሚገናኙ ድረስ ተዋቸው ፡ ፡

the promise of truth has drawn near . the eyes of those who disbelieved will stare in horror : “ woe to us .
እውነተኛውም ቀጠሮ በቀረበ ጊዜ ፥ ያን ጊዜ እነሆ የእነዚያ የካዱት ሰዎች ዓይኖች ይፈጥጣሉ ፡ ፡ « ዋ ጥፋታችን ! ከዚህ ( ቀን ) በእርግጥ በዝንጋቴ ላይ ነበርን ፤ በእውነትም በዳዮች ነበርን » ( ይላሉ ) ፡ ፡

do not think god is unaware of the wrongdoers ' actions . he only gives them respite till the day on which all eyes will stare fixedly in horror .
አላህንም በደለኞች ከሚሠሩት ግፍ ዘንጊ አድርገህ አታስብ ፡ ፡ የሚያቆያቸው ዓይኖች በእርሱ እስከሚፈጡበት ቀን ድረስ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡

and never think that allah is unaware of what the wrongdoers do . he only delays them for a day when eyes will stare [ in horror ] .
አላህንም በደለኞች ከሚሠሩት ግፍ ዘንጊ አድርገህ አታስብ ፡ ፡ የሚያቆያቸው ዓይኖች በእርሱ እስከሚፈጡበት ቀን ድረስ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡

and the men of midian ; to moses also they cried lies . and i respited the unbelievers , then i seized them ; and how was my horror !
የመድየንም ሰዎች ( አስተባብለዋል ) ፡ ፡ ሙሳም ተስተባብሏል ፡ ፡ ለከሓዲዎቹም ጊዜ ሰጠኋቸው ፡ ፡ ከዚያም ያዝቸው ፡ ፡ ጥላቻዬም እንዴት ነበረ !

the supreme horror will not grieve them , and the angels will welcome them , ( saying ) : this is your day which ye were promised ;
ታላቁ ድንጋጤ አያስተክዛቸውም ፡ ፡ መላእክትም ይህ ያ ትቀጠሩ የነበራችሁት ቀናችሁ ነው ፤ እያሉ ይቀበሏቸዋል ፡ ፡

and [ when ] the true promise has approached ; then suddenly the eyes of those who disbelieved will be staring [ in horror , while they say ] , " o woe to us ; we had been unmindful of this ; rather , we were wrongdoers . "
እውነተኛውም ቀጠሮ በቀረበ ጊዜ ፥ ያን ጊዜ እነሆ የእነዚያ የካዱት ሰዎች ዓይኖች ይፈጥጣሉ ፡ ፡ « ዋ ጥፋታችን ! ከዚህ ( ቀን ) በእርግጥ በዝንጋቴ ላይ ነበርን ፤ በእውነትም በዳዮች ነበርን » ( ይላሉ ) ፡ ፡
