( እርሱም ) አላቸው « ይሠሩት በነበሩት ነገር ምን ዕውቀት አለኝ ፡ ፡

he said , ‘ what do i know as to what they used to do ?
( እርሱም ) አላቸው « ይሠሩት በነበሩት ነገር ምን ዕውቀት አለኝ ፡ ፡

he said , “ what do i know what their deeds are ? ”
( እርሱም ) አላቸው « ይሠሩት በነበሩት ነገር ምን ዕውቀት አለኝ ፡ ፡

nor do i know whether it may mean a trial for you and a short reprieve . "
እርሱም ( ቅጣትን ማቆየት ) ምናልባት ለእናንተ ፈተናና እስከ ጊዜው መጠቃቀሚያ እንደሆነም አላውቅም ፤ ( በላቸው ) ፡ ፡

say : " i am not a new messenger to come , nor do i know what is to be done to me or you . i only follow what is revealed to me .
« ከመልክተኞች ብጤ የሌለኝ አይደለሁም ፡ ፡ በእኔም በእናንተም ምን እንደሚሥሠራም አላውቅም ፡ ፡ ወደእኔ የሚወረደውን እንጅ ሌላን አልከተልም ፡ ፡ እኔም ግልጽ አስፈራሪ እንጅ ሌላ አይደለሁም » በላቸው ፡ ፡

say , " i do not say to you that i possess the treasures of god , nor do i know the unseen , nor do i say to you that i am an angel . i follow only that which is revealed to me . "
« ለእናንተ የአላህ ግምጃ ቤቶች እኔ ዘንድ ናቸው አልልም ፡ ፡ ሩቅንም አላውቅም ፡ ፡ ለእናንተም እኔ መልአክ ነኝ አልልም ፡ ፡ ወደእኔ የሚወርድልኝን እንጅ ሌላን አልከተልም » በላቸው ፡ ፡ « ዕውርና የሚያይ ይስተካከላሉን አታስተነትኑምን » በላቸው ፡ ፡

then if they turn away , proclaim , “ i have proclaimed a war against you on equal terms ; and what do i know whether the promise which is given to you , is close or far ? ”
እምቢም ቢሉ ( በማወቅ ) በእኩልነት ላይ ኾነን ( የታዘዝኩትን ) አስታውቅኋችሁ ፡ ፡ « የምትስፈራሩበትም ነገር ቅርብ ወይም ሩቅ መኾኑን አላውቅም ፤ » በላቸው ፡ ፡

“ i do not say to you that i possess the treasures of god , nor do i know the future , nor do i say that i am an angel . nor do i say of those who are despicable in your eyes that god will never give them any good .
« ለእናንተም እኔ ዘንድ የአላህ ግምጃ ቤቶች አልሉ ሩቅንም ዐውቃለሁ አልላችሁም ፡ ፡ እኔም መልአክ ነኝ አልላችሁም ፡ ፡ ለእነዚያም ዓይኖቻችሁ ለሚያዋርዷቸው አላህ ደግ ነገርን ( እምነትን ) አይሰጣቸውም አልልም ፡ ፡ አላህ በነፍሶቻቸው ውስጥ ያለውን ነገር አዋቂ ነው ፡ ፡ እኔ ያን ጊዜ ከበደለኞች እሆናለሁና » ( አላቸው ) ፡ ፡

say , " i am not something original among the messengers , nor do i know what will be done with me or with you . i only follow that which is revealed to me , and i am not but a clear warner . "
« ከመልክተኞች ብጤ የሌለኝ አይደለሁም ፡ ፡ በእኔም በእናንተም ምን እንደሚሥሠራም አላውቅም ፡ ፡ ወደእኔ የሚወረደውን እንጅ ሌላን አልከተልም ፡ ፡ እኔም ግልጽ አስፈራሪ እንጅ ሌላ አይደለሁም » በላቸው ፡ ፡

say : i do not say to you , i have with me the treasures of allah , nor do i know the unseen , nor do i say to you that i am an angel ; i do not follow aught save that which is revealed to me . say : are the blind and the seeing one alike ?
« ለእናንተ የአላህ ግምጃ ቤቶች እኔ ዘንድ ናቸው አልልም ፡ ፡ ሩቅንም አላውቅም ፡ ፡ ለእናንተም እኔ መልአክ ነኝ አልልም ፡ ፡ ወደእኔ የሚወርድልኝን እንጅ ሌላን አልከተልም » በላቸው ፡ ፡ « ዕውርና የሚያይ ይስተካከላሉን አታስተነትኑምን » በላቸው ፡ ፡

i do not say that god 's treasures belong to me , that i know the unseen , or that i am an angel . nor do i say about those whom you disdain that god will not give them any reward .
« ለእናንተም እኔ ዘንድ የአላህ ግምጃ ቤቶች አልሉ ሩቅንም ዐውቃለሁ አልላችሁም ፡ ፡ እኔም መልአክ ነኝ አልላችሁም ፡ ፡ ለእነዚያም ዓይኖቻችሁ ለሚያዋርዷቸው አላህ ደግ ነገርን ( እምነትን ) አይሰጣቸውም አልልም ፡ ፡ አላህ በነፍሶቻቸው ውስጥ ያለውን ነገር አዋቂ ነው ፡ ፡ እኔ ያን ጊዜ ከበደለኞች እሆናለሁና » ( አላቸው ) ፡ ፡

" and i do not say to you that with me are the treasures of allah , " nor that i know the ghaib ( unseen ) ; " nor do i say i am an angel , and i do not say of those whom your eyes look down upon that allah will not bestow any good on them . allah knows what is in their inner-selves ( as regards belief , etc . ) .
« ለእናንተም እኔ ዘንድ የአላህ ግምጃ ቤቶች አልሉ ሩቅንም ዐውቃለሁ አልላችሁም ፡ ፡ እኔም መልአክ ነኝ አልላችሁም ፡ ፡ ለእነዚያም ዓይኖቻችሁ ለሚያዋርዷቸው አላህ ደግ ነገርን ( እምነትን ) አይሰጣቸውም አልልም ፡ ፡ አላህ በነፍሶቻቸው ውስጥ ያለውን ነገር አዋቂ ነው ፡ ፡ እኔ ያን ጊዜ ከበደለኞች እሆናለሁና » ( አላቸው ) ፡ ፡
