and when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour.
ሰባተኛውንም ማኅተም በፈታ ጊዜ እኵል ሰዓት የሚያህል ዝምታ በሰማይ ሆነ።

on the day the last hour arrives , the evil-doers will swear they have not even tarried for an hour , they have always been deluded ,

ለሕዝብም ሁሉ የተወሰነ ጊዜ አላቸው ፡ ፡ ጊዜያቸውም በመጣ ወቅት አንዲትን ሰዓት አይቆዩም ፡ ፡ ( ከጊዜያቱ ) አይቀደሙምም ፡ ፡

and if ye had mutually appointed ye would surely have failed the appointment . but the action wao brought about in order that allah may decree an affair already enacted , so that he who was to perish , should perish after an evidence and he who was to remain alive may remain alive after an evidence .
እናንተ በቅርቢቱ ዳርቻ ኾናችሁ እነርሱም በሩቂቱ ዳርቻ ኾነው የነጋዴዎቹም ጭፍራ ከናንተ በታች ሲኾኑ በሰፈራችሁ ጊዜ ( ያደረግንላችሁን አስታውሱ ) ፡ ፡ በተቃጠራችሁም ኖሮ በቀጠሮው በተለያያችሁ ነበር ፡ ፡ ግን አላህ ሊሠራው የሚገባውን ነገር ሊፈጽም የሚጠፋ ሰው ከአስረጅ በኋላ እንዲጠፋ ሕያው የሚኾንም ሰው ከአስረጅ በኋላ ሕያው እንዲኾን ( ያለቀጠሮ አጋጠማችሁ ) ፡ ፡ አላህም በእርግጥ ሰሚ ዐዋቂ ነው ፡ ፡

( but today they are oblivious of everything except enjoyment of worldly life . ) and on the day when he will muster all men together , they will feel as though they had been in the world no more than an hour of the day to get acquainted with one another .
( ከሓዲዎችን ) ከቀን አንዲትን ሰዓት እንጂ እንዳልቆዩ መስለው በመካከላቸው የሚተዋወቁ ሲሆኑ በምንሰበስባቸው ቀን ( አስታውስ ) ፡ ፡ እነዚያ በአላህ መገናኘት ያስተባበሉት በእርግጥ ከሰሩ የተመሩም አልነበሩም ፡ ፡
