( ሉጥ ) « እናንተ የተሳታችሁ ሕዝቦች ናችሁ » አላቸው ፡ ፡

say : " i do not know if what is promised you is near , or if my lord prolongs its term .
« የምትስፈራሩበት ነገር ቅርብ ወይም ጌታየ ለእርሱ የተወሰነ ጊዜን የሚያደርግለት ( ሩቅ ) መኾኑን አላውቅም » በላቸው ፡ ፡

and again he denied with an oath, i do not know the man.
ዳግመኛም ሲምል። ሰውየውን አላውቀውም ብሎ ካደ።

and i do not know if this is a trial for you and an enjoyment for a time '
እርሱም ( ቅጣትን ማቆየት ) ምናልባት ለእናንተ ፈተናና እስከ ጊዜው መጠቃቀሚያ እንደሆነም አላውቅም ፤ ( በላቸው ) ፡ ፡

i do not know if this be a trial for you , or a little advantage for a while . "
እርሱም ( ቅጣትን ማቆየት ) ምናልባት ለእናንተ ፈተናና እስከ ጊዜው መጠቃቀሚያ እንደሆነም አላውቅም ፤ ( በላቸው ) ፡ ፡

say , " i do not know whether what you are promised is imminent , or whether my lord has set for it a far-off day .
« የምትስፈራሩበት ነገር ቅርብ ወይም ጌታየ ለእርሱ የተወሰነ ጊዜን የሚያደርግለት ( ሩቅ ) መኾኑን አላውቅም » በላቸው ፡ ፡

i do not know — maybe it is a trial for you and an enjoyment for a while . ’
እርሱም ( ቅጣትን ማቆየት ) ምናልባት ለእናንተ ፈተናና እስከ ጊዜው መጠቃቀሚያ እንደሆነም አላውቅም ፤ ( በላቸው ) ፡ ፡

say , " i do not know if what you are promised is near or if my lord will grant for it a [ long ] period . "
« የምትስፈራሩበት ነገር ቅርብ ወይም ጌታየ ለእርሱ የተወሰነ ጊዜን የሚያደርግለት ( ሩቅ ) መኾኑን አላውቅም » በላቸው ፡ ፡

i do not know what will be done to me or to you . i follow only what has been revealed to me and my duty is only to give clear warning " .
« ከመልክተኞች ብጤ የሌለኝ አይደለሁም ፡ ፡ በእኔም በእናንተም ምን እንደሚሥሠራም አላውቅም ፡ ፡ ወደእኔ የሚወረደውን እንጅ ሌላን አልከተልም ፡ ፡ እኔም ግልጽ አስፈራሪ እንጅ ሌላ አይደለሁም » በላቸው ፡ ፡

but if they turn away , say , ‘ i have proclaimed to you all alike , and i do not know whether what you have been promised is far or near .
እምቢም ቢሉ ( በማወቅ ) በእኩልነት ላይ ኾነን ( የታዘዝኩትን ) አስታውቅኋችሁ ፡ ፡ « የምትስፈራሩበትም ነገር ቅርብ ወይም ሩቅ መኾኑን አላውቅም ፤ » በላቸው ፡ ፡

( muhammad ) , say , " i do not know whether that with which you have been threatened is close by or whether my lord will prolong the time of its coming .
« የምትስፈራሩበት ነገር ቅርብ ወይም ጌታየ ለእርሱ የተወሰነ ጊዜን የሚያደርግለት ( ሩቅ ) መኾኑን አላውቅም » በላቸው ፡ ፡

i do not know ( why god has commanded me to warn you of the torment ) . perhaps it is a trial for you and a respite for an appointed time " .
እርሱም ( ቅጣትን ማቆየት ) ምናልባት ለእናንተ ፈተናና እስከ ጊዜው መጠቃቀሚያ እንደሆነም አላውቅም ፤ ( በላቸው ) ፡ ፡

i do not say to you that i possess the treasuries of allah , and i do not know the unseen . i do not say i am an angel , nor do i say to those whom you despise , allah will not give them any good .
« ለእናንተም እኔ ዘንድ የአላህ ግምጃ ቤቶች አልሉ ሩቅንም ዐውቃለሁ አልላችሁም ፡ ፡ እኔም መልአክ ነኝ አልላችሁም ፡ ፡ ለእነዚያም ዓይኖቻችሁ ለሚያዋርዷቸው አላህ ደግ ነገርን ( እምነትን ) አይሰጣቸውም አልልም ፡ ፡ አላህ በነፍሶቻቸው ውስጥ ያለውን ነገር አዋቂ ነው ፡ ፡ እኔ ያን ጊዜ ከበደለኞች እሆናለሁና » ( አላቸው ) ፡ ፡

if they turn away , say , " i have warned you all alike , though i do not know whether [ the scourge ] which you are promised is near at hand or far off .
እምቢም ቢሉ ( በማወቅ ) በእኩልነት ላይ ኾነን ( የታዘዝኩትን ) አስታውቅኋችሁ ፡ ፡ « የምትስፈራሩበትም ነገር ቅርብ ወይም ሩቅ መኾኑን አላውቅም ፤ » በላቸው ፡ ፡

had i said such a thing , you would surely have known it . you know what is in my inner-self though i do not know what is in yours , truly , you , only you , are the all-knower of all that is hidden and unseen .
አላህም ፡ - « የመርየም ልጅ ዒሳ ሆይ ! አንተ ለሰዎቹ ፡ - እኔንና እናቴን ከአላህ ሌላ ሁለት አምላኮች አድርጋችሁ ያዙ ብላሃልን » በሚለው ጊዜ ( አስታውስ ) ፡ ፡ « ጥራት ይገባህ ፤ ለእኔ ተገቢዬ ያልኾነን ነገር ማለት ለኔ አይገባኝም ፡ ፡ ብዬው እንደ ኾነም በእርግጥ ዐውቀኸዋል ፡ ፡ በነፍሴ ውስጥ ያለውን ሁሉ ታውቃለህ ፡ ፡ ግን አንተ ዘንድ ያለውን አላውቅም ፡ ፡ አንተ ሩቆችን ሁሉ በጣም ዐዋቂ አንተ ብቻ ነህና » ይላል ፡ ፡

say : i am not the first of the apostles , and i do not know what will be done with me or with you : i do not follow anything but that which is revealed to me , and i am nothing but a plain warner .
« ከመልክተኞች ብጤ የሌለኝ አይደለሁም ፡ ፡ በእኔም በእናንተም ምን እንደሚሥሠራም አላውቅም ፡ ፡ ወደእኔ የሚወረደውን እንጅ ሌላን አልከተልም ፡ ፡ እኔም ግልጽ አስፈራሪ እንጅ ሌላ አይደለሁም » በላቸው ፡ ፡

say , “ i am not different from the other messengers ; and i do not know what will be done with me , or with you . i only follow what is inspired in me , and i am only a clear warner . ”
« ከመልክተኞች ብጤ የሌለኝ አይደለሁም ፡ ፡ በእኔም በእናንተም ምን እንደሚሥሠራም አላውቅም ፡ ፡ ወደእኔ የሚወረደውን እንጅ ሌላን አልከተልም ፡ ፡ እኔም ግልጽ አስፈራሪ እንጅ ሌላ አይደለሁም » በላቸው ፡ ፡

i do not know of any god that you may have besides me . haman , light for me a fire over clay , and build me a tower so that i may take a look at moses god ’ , and indeed i consider him to be a liar ! ’
ፈርዖንም « እናንተ ጭፍሮች ሆይ ! ከእኔ ሌላ ለእናንተ አምላክን ምንም አላወቅሁም ፡ ፡ ሃማንም ሆይ ! ጭቃን ለእኔ አቃጥልልኝ ፤ ( ጡብ ሥራልኝ ) ፡ ፡ ለእኔም ከፍተኛ ሕንጻን ሥራልኝ ፡ ፡ ወደ ሙሳ አምላክ ልወጣ እከጅላለሁና ፡ ፡ እኔም ከውሸታሞቹ መኾኑን እጠረጥረዋለሁ » አለ ፡ ፡

say , " i am not the first of god 's messengers , and i do not know what will be done with me or with you : i do not follow anything but what is revealed to me , and i am merely a plain warner . "
« ከመልክተኞች ብጤ የሌለኝ አይደለሁም ፡ ፡ በእኔም በእናንተም ምን እንደሚሥሠራም አላውቅም ፡ ፡ ወደእኔ የሚወረደውን እንጅ ሌላን አልከተልም ፡ ፡ እኔም ግልጽ አስፈራሪ እንጅ ሌላ አይደለሁም » በላቸው ፡ ፡
