so where are you going ?
ታዲያ ወዴት ትኼዳላችሁ ?

where are you
እኔን ለመገናኘት እየመጣህ ነው

where are you from
አንተ ከየት ነህ

so where are you heading ?
ታዲያ ወዴት ትኼዳላችሁ ?

nor are you going to worship him whom i worship .
« እናንተም እኔ የምግገዛውን ( ወደፊት ) ተገዢዎች አይደላችሁም ፡ ፡

nor are you going to serve him whom i serve :
« እናንተም እኔ የምግገዛውን ( ወደፊት ) ተገዢዎች አይደላችሁም ፡ ፡

this too is a blessed message that we revealed . are you going to deny it ?
ይህም ( ቁርኣን ) ያወረድነው የኾነ ብሩክ መገሰጫ ነው ፡ ፡ ታዲያ እናንተ ለእርሱ ከሓዲዎች ናችሁን

in the absence of truth there is nothing but falsehood . then where are you turning ?
እርሱ እውነተኛ ጌታችሁ አላህ ነው ፡ ፡ ከእውነትም በኋላ ጥመት እንጂ ሌላ ምን አለ ( ከውነት ) እንዴት ትዞራላችሁ

say , “ it is revealed to me that your god is one god . are you going to submit ? ”
« ያ ወደኔ የሚወረደው አምላካችሁ አንድ አምላክ ብቻ ነው ማለት ነው ፤ ታዲያ እናንተ ፍጹም ታዛዦች ናችሁን » በላቸው ፡ ፡

so such is allah , your true lord ; therefore what remains after the truth , except error ? so where are you reverting ?
እርሱ እውነተኛ ጌታችሁ አላህ ነው ፡ ፡ ከእውነትም በኋላ ጥመት እንጂ ሌላ ምን አለ ( ከውነት ) እንዴት ትዞራላችሁ

are you going to compel the people to believe except by god 's dispensation ? he puts doubt in ( the minds of ) those who do not think .
ለማንኛዋም ነፍስ በአላህ ፈቃድ ቢሆን እንጂ ልታምን ( ችሎታ ) የላትም ፡ ፡ ( አላህ ለከፊሎቹ እምነትን ይሻል ) ፡ ፡ በእነዚያም በማያውቁት ላይ ርክሰትን ያደርጋል ፡ ፡

or lest you say , " our forefathers associated others with god before our time , and we are only the descendants who came after them . so are you going to destroy us for what those inventors of falsehood did ? "
ወይም « ( ጣዖታትን ) ያጋሩት ከእኛ በፊት የነበሩት አባቶቻችን ብቻ ናቸው ፡ ፡ እኛም ከእነሱ በኋላ የኾን ዘሮች ነበርን ፡ ፡ አጥፊዎቹ በሠሩት ታጠፋናለህን » እንዳትሉ ( አስመሰከርናችሁ ) ፡ ፡

indeed it is allah who splits the grain and the seed ; it is he who brings forth living from the dead , and it is he who brings forth dead from the living ; such is allah ; so where are you reverting ?
አላህ ቅንጣትንና የፍሬን አጥንት ፈልቃቂ ነው ፡ ፡ ሕያውን ከሙት ያወጣል ፤ ሙትንም ከሕያው አውጪ ነው ፡ ፡ እርሱ አላህ ነው ፤ ታዲያ ( ከእምነት ) እንዴት ትመለሳላችሁ ( ትርቃላችሁ )

a believing man from pharaoh 's family , who had concealed his faith , said , “ are you going to kill a man for saying , `my lord is god,’ and he has brought you clear proofs from your lord? if he is a liar , his lying will rebound upon him ; but if he is truthful , then some of what he promises you will befall you .
ከፈርዖንም ቤተሰቦች አንድ እምነቱን የሚደብቅ ምእመን ሰው አለ ፡ - « ሰውየውን ከጌታችሁ በተዓምራቶች በእርግጥ የመጣለችሁ ሲኾን ‹ ጌታዬ አላህ ነው › ስለሚል ትገድላላችሁን ? ውሸታምም ቢኾን ውሸቱ በርሱው ላይ ነው ፡ ፡ እውነተኛ ቢኾን ግን የዚያ የሚያሰፈራራችሁ ከፊሉ ያገኛችኋል ፡ ፡ አላህ ያንን እርሱ ድንበር አላፊ ውሸታም የኾነውን አይመራምና ፡ ፡
