ወደእነርሱም ( አርዶና ጠብሶ ) አቀረበው ፡ ፡ « አትበሉም ወይ ? » አላቸው ፡ ፡

and laid it before them , saying : “ will you not eat ? ”
ወደእነርሱም ( አርዶና ጠብሶ ) አቀረበው ፡ ፡ « አትበሉም ወይ ? » አላቸው ፡ ፡

and placing it before them said : " won 't you eat ? "
ወደእነርሱም ( አርዶና ጠብሶ ) አቀረበው ፡ ፡ « አትበሉም ወይ ? » አላቸው ፡ ፡

and when the ten heard it, they began to be much displeased with james and john.
አሥሩም ሰምተው በያዕቆብና በዮሐንስ ይቈጡ ጀመር።

a monstrous jinn said , " i can bring it before you even stand up . i am powerful and trustworthy " .
ከጋኔን ኀይለኛው « ከችሎትህ ከመነሳትህ በፊት እኔ እርሱን አመጣልሃለሁ ፡ ፡ እኔም በእርሱ ላይ ብርቱ ታማኝ ነኝ » አለ ፡ ፡

and they had already disbelieved in it before and would assault the unseen from a place far away .
በፊትም በእርሱ በእርግጥ ክደዋል ፡ ፡ ከሩቅ ስፍራም በግምት ንግግርን ይጥላሉ ፡ ፡

a crafty jinn said : " i will bring it before you rise from your seat , for i am strong and trustworthy . "
ከጋኔን ኀይለኛው « ከችሎትህ ከመነሳትህ በፊት እኔ እርሱን አመጣልሃለሁ ፡ ፡ እኔም በእርሱ ላይ ብርቱ ታማኝ ነኝ » አለ ፡ ፡

and they disbelieved in it before , and they utter conjectures with regard to the unseen from a distant place .
በፊትም በእርሱ በእርግጥ ክደዋል ፡ ፡ ከሩቅ ስፍራም በግምት ንግግርን ይጥላሉ ፡ ፡

had god wanted he would have sent the angels ( instead of him ) . we have never heard from our fathers anything like what he says .
ከሕዝቦቹም እነዚያ ታላላቆቹ ሰዎች አሉ « ይህ ብጤያችሁ ሰው እንጅ ሌላ አይደለም ፡ ፡ በእናንተ ላይ መብለጥን ይፈልጋል ፡ ፡ አላህም በሻ ኖሮ መላእክትን ባወረደ ነበር ፡ ፡ ይህንንም ( የሚለውን ) በመጀመሪያዎቹ አባቶቻችን አልሰማንም ፡ ፡

we recount to you the best of narratives in revealing this quran to you , even though you were unaware of it before it came .
እኛ ይህንን ቁርኣን ወደ አንተ በማውረዳችን በጣም መልካም ዜናዎችን በአንተ ላይ እንተርክልሃለን ፡ ፡ እነሆ ከእርሱ በፊት ( ካለፉት ሕዝቦች ታሪክ ) በእርግጥ ከዘንጊዎቹ ነበርክ ፡ ፡

anyone who alters it once he has heard it shall be accountable for his crime . surely , god is all hearing and all knowing .
( ኑዛዜውን ) ከሰማውም በኋላ የለወጠው ሰው ኃጢአቱ በነዚያ በሚለውጡት ላይ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ አላህ ሰሚ ዐዋቂ ነውና ፡ ፡

but when moses came to them with our clear signs , they said : " this is nothing but a magic that has been contrived . we never heard anything like it from our ancestors of yore . "
ሙሳም በታምራቶቻችን ግልጽ ኾነው በመጣባቸው ጊዜ « ይህ የተቀጠፈ ድግምት እንጅ ሌላ አይደለም ፡ ፡ ይህንንም በመጀመሪያዎቹ አባቶቻችን ውስጥ አልሰማንም » አሉ ፡ ፡

and any one who changes the will , having heard it , shall be guilty and accountable ; for god hears all and knows everything .
( ኑዛዜውን ) ከሰማውም በኋላ የለወጠው ሰው ኃጢአቱ በነዚያ በሚለውጡት ላይ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ አላህ ሰሚ ዐዋቂ ነውና ፡ ፡

she said , “ o counselors , advise me in this matter of mine . i never make a decision unless you are present . ”
« እናንተ መማክርቶች ሆይ ! በነገሬ ( የሚበጀውን ) ንገሩኝ ፡ ፡ እስከምትገኙልኝ ድረስ አንድንም ነገር ቆራጭ አይደለሁምና » አለች ፡ ፡

" we never heard ( the like ) of this among the people of these latter days : this is nothing but a made-up tale ! "
