« ንግግሬን ያውቃሉና ፡ ፡

here come to sun and i say its all right
ที่นี่มาถึงดวงอาทิตย์และฉันบอกว่ามันถูกต้องทั้งหมด

i say the truth , and call the moon to witness ,
( ከክህደት ) ይከልከሉ ፡ ፡ በጨረቃ እምላለሁ ፡ ፡

he said , “ the truth is , and i say the truth .
( አላህ ) አለው « እውነቱም ( ከኔ ነው ) ፡ ፡ እውነትንም እላለሁ ፡ ፡

rejoice in the lord alway: and again i say, rejoice.
ሁልጊዜ በጌታ ደስ ይበላችሁ፤ ደግሜ እላለሁ፥ ደስ ይበላችሁ።

said he , ' this is the truth , and the truth i say ;
( አላህ ) አለው « እውነቱም ( ከኔ ነው ) ፡ ፡ እውነትንም እላለሁ ፡ ፡

verily i say unto you, this generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.
እውነት እላችኋለሁ፥ ይህ ሁሉ እስኪሆን ድረስ ይህ ትውልድ አያልፍም።

verily, verily, i say unto you, he that believeth on me hath everlasting life.
እውነት እውነት እላችኋለሁ በእኔ የሚያምን የዘላለም ሕይወት አለው።

( allah ) said : " the truth is , and the truth i say ,
( አላህ ) አለው « እውነቱም ( ከኔ ነው ) ፡ ፡ እውነትንም እላለሁ ፡ ፡

( god ) said : " this is right by me , and what i say is right .
( አላህ ) አለው « እውነቱም ( ከኔ ነው ) ፡ ፡ እውነትንም እላለሁ ፡ ፡

so set your face towards the straight path before the day arrives from god which is irreversible . men will be segregated on that day .
ለርሱ መመለስ የሌለው ቀን ( የትንሣኤ ቀን ) ከአላህ ሳይመጣ በፊት ፊትህን ወደ ቀጥተኛው ሃይማኖት ቀጥ አድርግ ፡ ፡ በዚያ ቀን ( ወደ ገነትና ወደ እሳት ) ይለያያሉ ፡ ፡

say , " show me those whom you have related to god as his partner . he is too exalted to have any partners .
« እነዚያን ተጋሪዎች አድርጋችሁ በእርሱ ያስጠጋችኋቸውን ( ጣዖታት ) አሳዩኝ ፡ ፡ ተዉ ( አታጋሩ ) ፤ በእውነቱ እርሱ አሸናፊው ብልሃተኛው አላህ ነው » በላቸው ፡ ፡

so direct your face toward the correct religion before a day comes from allah of which there is no repelling . that day , they will be divided .
ለርሱ መመለስ የሌለው ቀን ( የትንሣኤ ቀን ) ከአላህ ሳይመጣ በፊት ፊትህን ወደ ቀጥተኛው ሃይማኖት ቀጥ አድርግ ፡ ፡ በዚያ ቀን ( ወደ ገነትና ወደ እሳት ) ይለያያሉ ፡ ፡

[ allah ] said , " the truth [ is my oath ] , and the truth i say -
( አላህ ) አለው « እውነቱም ( ከኔ ነው ) ፡ ፡ እውነትንም እላለሁ ፡ ፡

" and turn not your face away from men with pride , nor walk in insolence through the earth . verily , allah likes not each arrogant boaster .
« ጉንጭህንም ( በኩራት ) ከሰዎች አታዙር ፡ ፡ በምድርም ላይ ተንበጥርረህ አትሂድ ፡ ፡ አላህ ተንበጥራሪን ጉረኛን ሁሉ አይወድምና ፡ ፡

do not ( contemptuously ) turn your face away from people , nor tread haughtily upon earth . allah does not love the arrogant and the vainglorious .
« ጉንጭህንም ( በኩራት ) ከሰዎች አታዙር ፡ ፡ በምድርም ላይ ተንበጥርረህ አትሂድ ፡ ፡ አላህ ተንበጥራሪን ጉረኛን ሁሉ አይወድምና ፡ ፡

and do not turn your face away from people in contempt , nor go about in the land exulting overmuch ; surely allah does not love any self-conceited boaster ;
« ጉንጭህንም ( በኩራት ) ከሰዎች አታዙር ፡ ፡ በምድርም ላይ ተንበጥርረህ አትሂድ ፡ ፡ አላህ ተንበጥራሪን ጉረኛን ሁሉ አይወድምና ፡ ፡

[ prophet ] , set your face to the right religion , before that day comes from god which cannot be averted . on that day , mankind will be parted in two .
ለርሱ መመለስ የሌለው ቀን ( የትንሣኤ ቀን ) ከአላህ ሳይመጣ በፊት ፊትህን ወደ ቀጥተኛው ሃይማኖት ቀጥ አድርግ ፡ ፡ በዚያ ቀን ( ወደ ገነትና ወደ እሳት ) ይለያያሉ ፡ ፡

" and ( it is inspired to me ) : direct your face ( o muhammad saw ) entirely towards the religion hanifa ( islamic monotheism , i.e. to worship none but allah alone ) , and never be one of the mushrikun ( those who ascribe partners to allah , polytheists , idolaters , disbelievers in the oneness of allah , and those who worship others along with allah ) .
ፊትህንም ( ወደ ቀጥታ ) ያዘነበልክ ስትሆን ለሃይማኖት ቀጥ አድርግ ፡ ፡ ከአጋሪዎቹም አትሁን ፡ ፡
