ፊትህንም ( ወደ ቀጥታ ) ያዘነበልክ ስትሆን ለሃይማኖት ቀጥ አድርግ ፡ ፡ ከአጋሪዎቹም አትሁን ፡ ፡

neither was abraham a jew nor a christian , but upright and obedient , and not an idolater .
ኢብራሂም ይሁዳዊም ክርስቲያንም አልነበረም ፡ ፡ ግን ወደ ቀጥተኛው ሃይማኖት የተዘነበለ ሙስሊም ነበረ ፡ ፡ ከአጋሪዎችም አልነበረም ፡ ፡

ወደእርሱ ተመላሾች ሆናቸሁ ( የአላህን ሃይማኖት ያዙ ) ፡ ፡ ፍሩትም ፡ ፡ ሶላትንም አስተካክላችሁ ስገዱ ፡ ፡ ከአጋሪዎቹም አትሁኑ ፡ ፡

then we revealed to thee : ' follow thou the creed of abraham , a man of pure faith and no idolater . '
ከዚያም ወደ አንተ የኢብራሂምን ሃይማኖት ቀጥተኛ ሲኾን ተከተል ፤ ከአጋሪዎቹም አልነበረም ማለት አወረድን ፡ ፡

i have truly turned my face towards him who created the heavens and the earth : i have chosen one way and am not an idolater . "
« እኔ ለዚያ ሰማያትንና ምድርን ለፈጠረው ( አምላክ ) ቀጥተኛ ስኾን ፊቴን አዞርኩ ፡ ፡ እኔም ከአጋሪዎቹ አይደለሁም » ( አለ ) ፡ ፡

say : ' allah has said the truth . follow the creed of abraham , he was of pure faith , and not an idolater '
« አላህ እውነትን ተናገረ ፡ ፡ የኢብራሂምንም መንገድ ወደ እውነት ያዘነበለ ሲኾን ተከተሉ ፡ ፡ ከአጋሪዎቹም አልነበረም » በላቸው ፡ ፡

the fornicator shall marry none but a fornicatress or an idolatress ; and the fornicatress none shall marry her but a fornicator or an idolater ; that is forbidden to the believers .
ዝሙተኛው ዝሙተኛይቱን ወይም አጋሪይቱን እንጂ አያገባም ፡ ፡ ዝሙተኛይቱንም ዝሙተኛ ወይም አጋሪ እንጂ አያገባትም ፡ ፡ ይህም በምእምናን ላይ ተከልክሏል ፡ ፡

« አላህ እውነትን ተናገረ ፡ ፡ የኢብራሂምንም መንገድ ወደ እውነት ያዘነበለ ሲኾን ተከተሉ ፡ ፡ ከአጋሪዎቹም አልነበረም » በላቸው ፡ ፡

say : lo ! as for me , my lord hath guided me unto a straight path , a right religion , the community of abraham , the upright , who was no idolater .
« እኔ ጌታዬ ወደ ቀጥተኛው መንገድ ትክክለኛን ሃይማኖት ወደ እውነት አዘንባይ ሲኾን የአብርሃምን መንገድ መራኝ ፡ ፡ እርሱም ከአጋሪዎቹ አልነበረም » በል ፡ ፡
