« ልትገድለኝ እጅህን ወደኔ ብትዘረጋ እኔ ልገድልህ እጄን ወዳንተ የምዘረጋ አይደለሁም ፡ ፡ እኔ የዓለማትን ጌታ አላህን እፈራለሁና » አለ ፡ ፡

“ if you extend your hand to kill me , i will not extend my hand to kill you ; for i fear god , lord of the worlds . ”
« ልትገድለኝ እጅህን ወደኔ ብትዘረጋ እኔ ልገድልህ እጄን ወዳንተ የምዘረጋ አይደለሁም ፡ ፡ እኔ የዓለማትን ጌታ አላህን እፈራለሁና » አለ ፡ ፡

then i will come upon them from the front and from the rear , and from their right and from their left . and you will not find most of them thankful . '
« ከዚያም ከስተፊቶቻቸው ከኋላቸውም ከቀኞቻቸውም ከግራዎቻቸውም በእርግጥ እመጣባቸዋለሁ ፡ ፡ አብዛኞቻቸውንም አመስጋኞች ኾነው አታገኛቸውም » ( አለ ) ፡ ፡

even if you extend your hand toward me to kill me , i will not extend my hand toward you to kill you . indeed , i fear allah , the lord of all the worlds .
« ልትገድለኝ እጅህን ወደኔ ብትዘረጋ እኔ ልገድልህ እጄን ወዳንተ የምዘረጋ አይደለሁም ፡ ፡ እኔ የዓለማትን ጌታ አላህን እፈራለሁና » አለ ፡ ፡

say : ' i am forbidden to worship whom you call upon instead of allah ' say : ' i will not yield to your wishes , for then i should have strayed and should not be of those guided '
« እኔ እነዚያን ከአላህ ሌላ የምትጠሩዋቸውን ከመገዛት ተከልክያለሁ » በላቸው ፡ ፡ « ዝንባሌያችሁን አልከተልም ፡ ፡ ያን ጊዜ በእርግጥ ተሳሳትኩ ፡ ፡ እኔም ከተመሪዎቹ አይደለሁም » በላቸው ፡ ፡

“ indeed , if you do extend your hand against me to kill me , i will not extend my hand against you to kill you ; i fear allah , the lord of the creation . ”
« ልትገድለኝ እጅህን ወደኔ ብትዘረጋ እኔ ልገድልህ እጄን ወዳንተ የምዘረጋ አይደለሁም ፡ ፡ እኔ የዓለማትን ጌታ አላህን እፈራለሁና » አለ ፡ ፡

then i will come at them from before them , and from behind them , and from their right , and from their left ; and you will not find most of them appreciative . ”
« ከዚያም ከስተፊቶቻቸው ከኋላቸውም ከቀኞቻቸውም ከግራዎቻቸውም በእርግጥ እመጣባቸዋለሁ ፡ ፡ አብዛኞቻቸውንም አመስጋኞች ኾነው አታገኛቸውም » ( አለ ) ፡ ፡

so eat and drink and be contented . and if you see from among humanity anyone , say , ' indeed , i have vowed to the most merciful abstention , so i will not speak today to [ any ] man . ' "
« ብይም ፣ ጠጭም ፣ ተደሰችም ፡ ፡ እኔ ለአልረሕማን ዝምታን ተስያለሁ ፤ ዛሬም ሰውን በፍጹም አላነጋግርም » በይ ፡ ፡

then i will come to them from before them and behind them , from their right and from their left , and you will not find most of them as thankful ones ( i.e. they will not be dutiful to you ) . "
« ከዚያም ከስተፊቶቻቸው ከኋላቸውም ከቀኞቻቸውም ከግራዎቻቸውም በእርግጥ እመጣባቸዋለሁ ፡ ፡ አብዛኞቻቸውንም አመስጋኞች ኾነው አታገኛቸውም » ( አለ ) ፡ ፡

eat , drink , and be comforted . then if you see any human , say , ‘ ‘ indeed i have vowed a fast to the all-beneficent , so i will not speak to any human today . ’ ’ ’
