እናንተ ትፈጥሩታላችሁን ? ወይስ እኛ ፈጣሪዎቹን ነን ?

if you do not know their fathers , regard them as your brothers in faith and your proteges . you will not be blamed if you make a mistake , you will be held accountable only for what in your hearts you have done intentionally .
ለአባቶቻቸው ( በማስጠጋት ) ጥሯቸው ፡ ፡ እርሱ አላህ ዘንድ ትክክለኛ ነው ፡ ፡ አባቶቻቸውንም ባታውቁ በሃይማኖት ወንድሞቻችሁና ዘመዶቻችሁ ናቸው ፡ ፡ በእርሱ በተሳሳታችሁበት ነገርም በእናንተ ላይ ኀጢአት የለባችሁም ፡ ፡ ግን ልቦቻችሁ ዐውቀው በሠሩት ( ኀጢአት አለባችሁ ) ፡ ፡ አላህም መሓሪ አዛኝ ነው ፡ ፡

but if you slip after the proofs have come to you , know that god is powerful and wise .
ግልጽ ማስረጃዎችም ከመጡላችሁ በኋላ ብትዘነበሉ አላህ አሸናፊ ጥበበኛ መኾኑን እወቁ ፡ ፡

but if you slip after clear arguments have come to you , then know that allah is mighty , wise .
ግልጽ ማስረጃዎችም ከመጡላችሁ በኋላ ብትዘነበሉ አላህ አሸናፊ ጥበበኛ መኾኑን እወቁ ፡ ፡

and they said , “ we will not believe in you unless you make a spring burst from the ground for us .
አሉም « ለኛ ከምድር ምንጭን እስከምታፈነዳን ለአንተ አናምንም ፡ ፡ »

[ they pray ] , " our lord , do not take us to task if we forget or make a mistake ! our lord , do not place on us a burden like the one you placed on those before us !
አላህ ነፍስን ከችሎታዋ በላይ አያስገድዳትም ፡ ፡ ለርስዋ የሠራችው አላት ፡ ፡ በርስዋም ላይ ያፈራችው ( ኀጢአት ) አለባት ፡ ፡ ( በሉ ) ፡ - ጌታችን ሆይ ! ብንረሳ ወይም ብንስት አትያዘን ፤ ( አትቅጣን ) ፡ ፡ ጌታችን ሆይ ! ከባድ ሸክምን ከእኛ በፊት በነበሩት ላይ እንደጫንከው በእኛ ላይ አትጫንብን ፡ ፡ ጌታችን ሆይ ! ለኛም በርሱ ችሎታ የሌለንን ነገር አታሸክመን ፡ ፡ ከእኛም ይቅርታ አድርግ ለእኛም ምሕረት አድርግ ፡ ፡ እዘንልንም ፤ ዋቢያችን አንተ ነህና ፡ ፡ በከሓዲዎች ሕዝቦች ላይም እርዳን ፡ ፡

but if you slip , after the clear signs have come to you , know then that god is all-mighty , all-wise .
ግልጽ ማስረጃዎችም ከመጡላችሁ በኋላ ብትዘነበሉ አላህ አሸናፊ ጥበበኛ መኾኑን እወቁ ፡ ፡

one who makes a mistake or commits a sin and ascribes it to an innocent person , he only burdens himself with slander and a grave sin .
ኀጢአትን ወይም አበሳን የሚሠራም ሰው ከዚያም በእርሱ ንጹሕን ሰው የሚሰድብ ቅጥፈትንና ግልጽ አበሳን በቁርጥ ተሸከመ ፡ ፡

but if you turn your backs , i have delivered to you that i was sent with unto you , and my lord will make a people other than you successors ; you will not hurt him anything . my lord is guardian over everything . '
« ብትዞሩም በእርሱ ወደእናንተ የተላክሁበትን ነገር በእርግጥ አድርሼላችኋለሁ ፡ ፡ ጌታዬ ከእናንተ ሌላ ሕዝብም ይተካል ምንም አትጎዱትምም ፡ ፡ ጌታዬ በነገሩ ሁሉ ላይ ተጠባባቂ ነውና » ( አላቸው ) ፡ ፡

and say : " we will not believe you until you make a spring of water gush forth from the earth for us ;
አሉም « ለኛ ከምድር ምንጭን እስከምታፈነዳን ለአንተ አናምንም ፡ ፡ »

if you know not who their fathers were , then they are your brothers in religion , and your clients . there is no fault in you if you make mistakes , but only in what your hearts premeditate .
ለአባቶቻቸው ( በማስጠጋት ) ጥሯቸው ፡ ፡ እርሱ አላህ ዘንድ ትክክለኛ ነው ፡ ፡ አባቶቻቸውንም ባታውቁ በሃይማኖት ወንድሞቻችሁና ዘመዶቻችሁ ናቸው ፡ ፡ በእርሱ በተሳሳታችሁበት ነገርም በእናንተ ላይ ኀጢአት የለባችሁም ፡ ፡ ግን ልቦቻችሁ ዐውቀው በሠሩት ( ኀጢአት አለባችሁ ) ፡ ፡ አላህም መሓሪ አዛኝ ነው ፡ ፡

if you ask them , they will say , " we were only joking and playing with words . " say , " would you make a mockery of god and of his revelations and of his messenger ?
በእርግጥ ብትጠይቃቸው « እኛ የምንዘባርቅና የምንጫወት ብቻ ነበርን » ይላሉ ፡ ፡ « በአላህና በአንቀጾቹ ፣ በመልክተኛውም ታላግጡ ነበራችሁን » በላቸው ፡ ፡

fulfill the covenant of allah , when you make a covenant and do not break your oaths after they have been confirmed ( by swearing in his name ) for you make allah your surety . allah has knowledge of what you do .
ቃል ኪዳንም በገባችሁ ጊዜ በአላህ ቃል ኪዳን ሙሉ ፡ ፡ መሓሎቻችሁንም ከአጠነከራችኋት በኋላ አላህን በእናንተ ላይ በእርግጥ መስካሪ ያደረጋችሁ ስትኾኑ አታፍርሱ ፡ ፡ አላህ የምትሠሩትን ሁሉ ያውቃልና ፡ ፡

but if you know not their father 's ( names , call them ) your brothers in faith and mawalikum ( your freed slaves ) . and there is no sin on you if you make a mistake therein , except in regard to what your hearts deliberately intend .
ለአባቶቻቸው ( በማስጠጋት ) ጥሯቸው ፡ ፡ እርሱ አላህ ዘንድ ትክክለኛ ነው ፡ ፡ አባቶቻቸውንም ባታውቁ በሃይማኖት ወንድሞቻችሁና ዘመዶቻችሁ ናቸው ፡ ፡ በእርሱ በተሳሳታችሁበት ነገርም በእናንተ ላይ ኀጢአት የለባችሁም ፡ ፡ ግን ልቦቻችሁ ዐውቀው በሠሩት ( ኀጢአት አለባችሁ ) ፡ ፡ አላህም መሓሪ አዛኝ ነው ፡ ፡

do not take for your allies those who make a mockery and sport of your faith , be they those given the book before you or other unbelievers . fear allah if you indeed believe .
እናንተ ያመናችሁ ሆይ ! ከእነዚያ ከበፊታችሁ መጽሐፍን ከተሰጡት እነዚያን ሃይማኖታችሁን ማላገጫና መጫወቻ አድርገው የያዙትን ከሓዲዎችንም ረዳቶች አድርጋችሁ አትያዙ ፡ ፡ ምእምናንም እንደኾናችሁ አላህን ፍሩ ፡ ፡

and recall when moses said to his people , “ god commands you to sacrifice a heifer . ” they said , “ do you make a mockery of us ? ”
ሙሳም ለሕዝቦቹ ፡ - « አላህ ላምን እንድታርዱ ያዛችኋል » ባለ ጊዜ ( አስታወሱ ) ፡ ፡ « መሳለቂያ አድርገህ ትይዘናለህን ? » አሉት ፡ ፡ « ከተሳላቂዎች ከመኾን በአላህ እጠበቃለሁ » አላቸው ፡ ፡

" take a handful of herbs , " ( we said to him ) , and apply and rub them , and do not make a mistake . " we found him patient in adversity , an excellent devotee , always turning in repentance .
« በእጅህም ጭብጥ አርጩሜን ያዝ ፡ ፡ በእርሱም ( ሚስትህን ) ምታ ፡ ፡ ማላህንም አታፍርስ » ( አልነው ) ፡ ፡ እኛ ታጋሸ ኾኖ አገኘነው ፡ ፡ ምን ያምር ባሪያ እርሱ በጣም መላሳ ነው ፡ ፡

had we wished , we would have surely raised him by their means , but he clung to the earth and followed his [ base ] desires . so his parable is that of a dog : if you make for it , it lolls out its tongue , and if you let it alone , it lolls out its tongue .
በሻንም ኖሮ በእርሷ ከፍ ባደረግነው ነበር ፡ ፡ እርሱ ግን ወደ ምድር ተዘነበለ ፡ ፡ ፍላጎቱንም ተከተለ ፡ ፡ ብጤውም ብታባርረው ምላሱን አውጥቶ የሚያለከልክ ወይም ብትተወው ምላሱን አውጥቶ የሚያለከልክ እንደ ኾነ ውሻ ነው ፡ ፡ ይህ የእነዚያ በአንቀጾቻችን ያስተባበሉት ሕዝቦች ምሳሌ ነው ፡ ፡ ያስተነትኑም ዘንድ ታሪኮችን ተርክላቸው ፡ ፡

allah does not impose upon any soul a duty but to the extent of its ability ; for it is ( the benefit of ) what it has earned and upon it ( the evil of ) what it has wrought : our lord ! do not punish us if we forget or make a mistake ; our lord ! do not lay on us a burden as thou didst lay on those before us , our lord do not impose upon us that which we have not the strength to bear ; and pardon us and grant us protection and have mercy on us , thou art our patron , so help us against the unbelieving people .
