ከእናንተም ውስጥ ከእርሱ ላይ ከልካዮች ምንም አይኖሩም ፡ ፡

upon the infidels -- which none would be able to repel --
በከሓዲዎች ላይ ( ወዳቂ ከኾነው ) ለእርሱ መላሽ የለውም ፡ ፡

and if you would count the graces of allah , never could you be able to count them . truly !
የአላህንም ጸጋ ብትቆጥሩ አትዘልቋትም ፡ ፡ አላህ በእርግጥ መሓሪ አዛኝ ነውና ፡ ፡

or its water will become sunken [ into the earth ] , so you would never be able to seek it . "
ወይም ውሃው ሠራጊ ሊኾን ( ይችላል ) ፡ ፡ ያን ጊዜ ለርሱ መፈለግን ፈጽሞ አትችልም » ( አለው ) ፡ ፡

and if we listed , surely we should transform them in their places , so that they would be able neither to go forward nor to return
ብንሻም ኖሮ በስፍራቸው ላይ እንዳሉ ወደ ሌላ ፍጥረት በለወጠናቸው ነበር ፡ ፡ መኼድንም መመለስንም ባልቻሉም ነበር ፡ ፡

he replied , " did i not tell you that you would never be able to bear with me patiently ? "
« አንተ ከኔ ጋር ትእግሥትን ፈጽሞ አትችልም አላልኩምን » አለ ፡ ፡

' did i not tell you ' he replied , ' that you would not be able to bear patiently with me '
« አንተ ከኔ ጋር ትእግሥትን ፈጽሞ አትችልም አላልኩህምን » አለ ፡ ፡

and he has given you something of all what you asked . and if you were to count god s blessings ’ , you would not be able to enumerate them .
ከለመናችሁትም ሁሉ የሰጣችሁ ነው ፡ ፡ የአላህንም ጻጋ ብትቆጥሩ አትዘልቋትም ፡ ፡ ሰው በጣም በደለኛ ከሓዲ ነው ፡ ፡

even if you wanted to count up all of god 's blessings , you would not be able to . god is all-forgiving and all-merciful .
የአላህንም ጸጋ ብትቆጥሩ አትዘልቋትም ፡ ፡ አላህ በእርግጥ መሓሪ አዛኝ ነውና ፡ ፡

and if you tried to enumerate the favors of god , you will not be able to count them . god is forgiving and merciful .
የአላህንም ጸጋ ብትቆጥሩ አትዘልቋትም ፡ ፡ አላህ በእርግጥ መሓሪ አዛኝ ነውና ፡ ፡

[ al-khidh r ] said , " did i not say that with me you would never be able to have patience ? "
« አንተ ከኔ ጋር ትእግሥትን ፈጽሞ አትችልም አላልኩምን » አለ ፡ ፡

and he gave you all that you had asked him . if you enumerate allah s blessings ’ , you will not be able to count them .
ከለመናችሁትም ሁሉ የሰጣችሁ ነው ፡ ፡ የአላህንም ጻጋ ብትቆጥሩ አትዘልቋትም ፡ ፡ ሰው በጣም በደለኛ ከሓዲ ነው ፡ ፡

and if you enumerate the favours of allah , you will never be able to count them ; indeed allah is oft forgiving , most merciful .
የአላህንም ጸጋ ብትቆጥሩ አትዘልቋትም ፡ ፡ አላህ በእርግጥ መሓሪ አዛኝ ነውና ፡ ፡

( muhammad ) , tell them , " running away will never be of any benefit to you even if you run away from death or being killed . still you would not be able to enjoy yourselves except for a short while . "
ከሞት ወይም ከመገደል ብትሸሹ መሸሻችሁ ፈጽሞ አይጠቅማችሁም ፡ ፡ ያን ጊዜም ጥቂትን እንጂ የምትጣቀሙ አትደረጉም በላቸው ፡ ፡

among whose hearts he has placed affection and unity . if you were to spend the wealth of the whole earth , you would not have been able to unite their hearts but god has been able to unite them .
በልቦቻቸውም መካከል ያስማማ ነው ፡ ፡ በምድር ያለውን ሁሉ ( ሀብት ) በለገስክ ኖሮ በልቦቻቸው መካከል ባላስማማህ ነበር ፡ ፡ ግን አላህ በመካከላቸው አስማማ ፡ ፡ እርሱ አሸናፊ ጥበበኛ ነውና ፡ ፡

and assuredly we left it for a sign . is there then anyone who would be admonished ?
ተዓምር አድርገንም በእርግጥ ተውናት ፡ ፡ ከተገሳጭም አልለን ?

[ lot ] said , " these are my daughters - if you would be doers [ of lawful marriage ] . "
( ሉጥም ) « እነኝህ ሴቶች ልጆቼ ናቸው ፡ ፡ ሠሪዎች ብትኾኑ ( አግቧቸው ) » አለ ፡ ፡

and he gave you much of what you seek ; and if you enumerate the favours of allah , you will never be able to count them ; indeed man is very unjust , most ungrateful .
ከለመናችሁትም ሁሉ የሰጣችሁ ነው ፡ ፡ የአላህንም ጻጋ ብትቆጥሩ አትዘልቋትም ፡ ፡ ሰው በጣም በደለኛ ከሓዲ ነው ፡ ፡

except the men , women , and children who were indeed too feeble to be able to seek the means of escape and did not know where to go.-
ግን ከወንዶችና ከሴቶች ከሕፃኖችም ሲኾኑ ( ለመውጣት ) መላን የማይችሉና መንገድንም የማይምመሩ ደካሞች ( ቅጣት የለባቸውም )

and do not eat from that over which the name of god was not pronounced , for it is abomination . the devils inspire their followers to argue with you ; but if you obey them , you would be polytheists .
በእርሱም ላይ የአላህ ስም ካልተጠራበት ነገር አትብሉ ፡ ፡ እርሱም በእርግጥ አመጽ ነው ፡ ፡ ሰይጣናትም ወደ ወዳጆቻቸው ( በክትን በመብላት ) ይከራከሯችሁ ዘንድ ያሾከሹካሉ ፡ ፡ ብትታዘዙዋቸውም እናንተ በእርግጥ አጋሪዎች ናችሁ ፡ ፡
