በህይወቴ ስለመጣህ እናመሰግናለን

« በነገሬም አጋራው ፡ ፡

and associate him with me in my task .

« በነገሬም አጋራው ፡ ፡

education opportunities are available in my work place
በሥራ ቦታዬ የትምህርት እድሎች አሉ።

and associate him ( with me ) in my affair ,
« በነገሬም አጋራው ፡ ፡

ye are they which have continued with me in my temptations.
ነገር ግን እናንተ በፈተናዎቼ ከእኔ ጋር ጸንታችሁ የኖራችሁ ናችሁ፤

you're in my dreams, you're in my dreams
በህልሜ የኔ ነሽ በእውኔ ህልሜ ነሽ

if ye shall ask any thing in my name, i will do it.
ማናቸውንም ነገር በስሜ ብትለምኑ እኔ አደርገዋለሁ።

his companion said : “ here is he who was in my charge . ”
ቁራኛውም ( መልአክ ) « ይህ ያ እኔ ዘንድ ያለው ቀራቢ ነው » ይላል ፡ ፡

and i take refuge in my lord and your lord , lest you should stone me .
« እኔም እንዳትወግሩኝ በጌታየና በጌታችሁ ተጠብቂያለሁ ፡ ፡

i have taken refuge in my lord and your lord against your stoning me to death .
« እኔም እንዳትወግሩኝ በጌታየና በጌታችሁ ተጠብቂያለሁ ፡ ፡

and indeed , i have sought refuge in my lord and your lord , lest you stone me .
« እኔም እንዳትወግሩኝ በጌታየና በጌታችሁ ተጠብቂያለሁ ፡ ፡

" do not argue in my presence . i had announced the promise of doom in advance .
( አላህ ) « ወደእናንተ ዛቻን በእርግጥ ያስቀደምኩ ስኾን እኔ ዘንድ አትጨቃጨቁ » ይላቸዋል ፡ ፡

and lo ! i have sought refuge in my lord and your lord lest ye stone me to death .
« እኔም እንዳትወግሩኝ በጌታየና በጌታችሁ ተጠብቂያለሁ ፡ ፡

allah will say : wrangle not in my presence , and had already proferred unto you the threat .
( አላህ ) « ወደእናንተ ዛቻን በእርግጥ ያስቀደምኩ ስኾን እኔ ዘንድ አትጨቃጨቁ » ይላቸዋል ፡ ፡

( it was said ) : “ do not remonstrate in my presence . i had warned you .
( አላህ ) « ወደእናንተ ዛቻን በእርግጥ ያስቀደምኩ ስኾን እኔ ዘንድ አትጨቃጨቁ » ይላቸዋል ፡ ፡

he said : blame me not for what i forgot , and do not constrain me to a difficult thing in my affair .
« በረሳሁት ነገር አትያዘኝ ፡ ፡ ከነገሬም ችግርን አታሸክመኝ » አለው ፡ ፡

he will say : " alas the woe ! would that i had sent ahead something in my life . "
« ዋ እኔ ! ምነው በሕይወቴ ( መልካምን ሥራ ) ባስቀደምኩ ኖሮ » ይላል ፡ ፡

he will say : " dispute not with each other in my presence : i had already in advance sent you warning .
( አላህ ) « ወደእናንተ ዛቻን በእርግጥ ያስቀደምኩ ስኾን እኔ ዘንድ አትጨቃጨቁ » ይላቸዋል ፡ ፡
