ሰውን እንደ ሸክላ ከሚቅጨለጨል ደረቅ ጭቃ ፈጠረው ፡ ፡

like that we sent down upon those who split into bands ,
( ሰዎችን ለማገድ የመካን በሮች ) በተከፋፈሉት ላይ እንደ አወረድነው ( በኾነ ቅጣት አሰፈራሪያችሁ ነኝ በል ) ፡ ፡

he created man from clay like [ that of ] pottery .
ሰውን እንደ ሸክላ ከሚቅጨለጨል ደረቅ ጭቃ ፈጠረው ፡ ፡

is not [ someone like ] that able to revive the dead ?
ይህ ( ጌታ ) ሙታንን ሕያው በማድረግ ላይ ቻይ አይደለምን ?

" if we had had with us a book like that of the people of old ,
« ከቀድሞዎቹ ( መጻሕፍት ) ገሳጭ መጽሐፍ እኛ ዘንድ በነበረን ኖሮ ፤

there is painful punishment in this world and the next for those who like that immorality should spread among the believers , for god knows and you do not know .
እነዚያ በእነዚያ ባመኑት ሰዎች ውስጥ መጥፎ ወሬ እንድትስፋፋ የሚወዱ ለእነሱ በቅርቢቱም በመጨረሻይቱም ዓለም አሳማሚ ቅጣት አላቸው ፡ ፡ አላህም ያውቃል እናንተ ግን አታውቁም ፡ ፡

lo ! i fear for you a fate like that of the factions ( of old ) ;
ያም ያመነው ሰው አለ « እኔ በናንተ ላይ የአሕዛቦቹን ቀን ብጤ እፈራላችኋለሁ ፡ ፡

no , that is not like that ! verily , we have created them out of that which they know !
ይከልከል ፤ እኛ ከሚያውቁት ነገር ( ከፍቶት ጠብታ ) ፈጠርናቸው ፡ ፡

and indeed for these unjust is also a turn of punishment , like that of their companions – so they must not ask me to hasten .
ለእነዚያም ለበደሉት እንደ ጓደኞቻቸው ፋንታ ብጤ ( የቅጣት ) ፋንታ አልላቸው ፡ ፡ ስለዚህ አያስቸኩሉኝ ፡ ፡

and when our verses are recited to them , they say , " we have heard . if we willed , we could say [ something ] like this .
አንቀጾቻችንም በነሱ ላይ በተነበቡ ጊዜ « በእርግጥ ሰምተናል ፤ በሻን ኖሮ የዚህን ብጤ ባልን ነበር ፤ ይህ የመጀመሪያዎቹ ሰዎች ጽሑፍ ተረቶች እንጂ ሌላ አይደለም » ይላሉ ፡ ፡

do the people who commit evil think that we shall make their life and death like that of the righteously striving believers ? how terrible is their judgment !
እነዚያ ኀጢአቶችን የሠሩ ሕይወታቸውም ሞታቸውም ትክክል ሲኾን እንደእነዚያ እንደ አመኑትና መልካሞችን እንደሠሩት ልናደርጋቸው ይጠረጥራሉን ? ( አይጠርጥሩ ) ፡ ፡ የሚፈርዱት ምንኛ ከፋ !

but if they turn away , tell them : “ i warn you against a sudden scourge like that which struck ad and thamud . ”
( ከእምነት ) እንቢ « ቢሉም እንደ ዓድና ሰሙድ መቅሰፍት ብጤ የኾነን መቅሰፍት አስጠነቅቃችኋለሁ » በላቸው ፡ ፡

" something like the fate of the people of noah , the ' ad , and the thamud , and those who came after them : but allah never wishes injustice to his servants .
« የኑሕን ሕዝቦች ፣ የዓድንና የሰሙድንም ፣ የእነዚያንም ከኋላቸው የነበሩትን ልማድ ብጤ ( እፈራላችኋለሁ ) ፡ ፡ አላህም ለባሮቹ መበደልን የሚሻ አይደለም ፡ ፡

allah does not like that the evil should be uttered in public except by him who has been wronged . and allah is ever all-hearer , all-knower .
አላህ ከንግግር በክፉው መጮህን ከተበደለ ሰው ( ጩኸት ) በቀር አይወድም ፡ ፡ አላህ ሰሚ ዐዋቂ ነው ፡ ፡

the example of those who were entrusted with the torah and then did not take it on is like that of a donkey who carries volumes [ of books ] . wretched is the example of the people who deny the signs of allah .
የእነዚያ ተውራትን የተጫኑትና ከዚያም ያልተሸከሟት ( ያልሠሩባት ) ሰዎች ምሳሌ መጽሐፎችን እንደሚሸከም አህያ ብጤ ነው ፡ ፡ የእነዚያ በአላህ አንቀጾች ያስተባበሉት ሕዝቦች ምሳሌ ከፋ ፡ ፡ አላህም በዳዮችን ሕዝቦች አይመራም ፡ ፡
