and if he is of those on the right , –
ከቀኝ ጓዶችም ቢኾንማ ፡ ፡

and he is of the unseen not a tenacious concealer .
እርሱም በሩቁ ወሬ ላይ ሰሳች ( ንፉግ ) አይደለም ፡ ፡

indeed , the fire is of the greatest [ afflictions ]
እርሷ ( ሰቀር ) ከታላላቆቹ ( አደጋዎች ) አንዷ ናት ፡ ፡

( if a dying soul ) is of those near to god ,
( ሟቹ ) ከባለሟሎቹ ቢኾንማ ፡ ፡

but , if he is of those who belied , and went astray ,
ከሚያስዋሹት ጠማማዎችም ቢኾንማ ፡ ፡

and forgive my father . lo ! he is of those who err .
ለአባቴም ማር ፡ ፡ እርሱ ከተሳሳቱት ነበረና ፡ ፡

if it is of those who have rejected the truth and have gone astray ,
ከሚያስዋሹት ጠማማዎችም ቢኾንማ ፡ ፡

he selecteth for his mercy whom he will . allah is of infinite bounty .
በችሮታው ( በነቢይነት ) የሚሻውን ይመርጣል ፡ ፡ አላህም የታላቅ ችሮታ ባለቤት ነው ፡ ፡

and forgive my father , for surely he is of those who have gone astray ;
ለአባቴም ማር ፡ ፡ እርሱ ከተሳሳቱት ነበረና ፡ ፡

and if his shirt is torn from behind , then she hath lied and he is of the truthful .
« ቀሚሱም ከበስተኋላ ተቀድዶ እንደሆነ ዋሸች ፡ ፡ እርሱም ከእውነተኞቹ ነው ፡ ፡ »

and yet a fifth , invoking the curse of allah on him if he is of those who lie .
አምስተኛይቱም ከውሸታሞች ቢኾን በእርሱ ላይ የአላህ እርግማን ይኑርበት ( ብሎ መመስከር ) ነው ፡ ፡

and they will be given to drink a cup [ of wine ] whose mixture is of ginger
በእርሷም መበረዣዋ ዘንጀቢል የኾነችን ጠጅ ይጠጣሉ ፡ ፡

but if his shirt is torn from the back , then she has lied , and he is of the truthful . "
« ቀሚሱም ከበስተኋላ ተቀድዶ እንደሆነ ዋሸች ፡ ፡ እርሱም ከእውነተኞቹ ነው ፡ ፡ »

all that ; and whosoever venerates god 's waymarks , that is of the godliness of the hearts .
