it is you we worship and you we ask for help .
አንተን ብቻ እንግገዛለን ፤ አንተንም ብቻ እርዳታን እንለምናለን ፡ ፡

it is you we worship , and upon you we call for help .
አንተን ብቻ እንግገዛለን ፤ አንተንም ብቻ እርዳታን እንለምናለን ፡ ፡

when it is allah who created you and all that you do '
« አላህ እናንተንም የምትሠሩትንም የፈጠረ ሲኾን ፡ ፡ »

when it is god who has created you and all your handiwork ? "
« አላህ እናንተንም የምትሠሩትንም የፈጠረ ሲኾን ፡ ፡ »

it is we who ordained death upon you and we are not to be frustrated .
እኛ ሞትን ( ጊዜውን ) በመካከላችሁ ወሰንን ፡ ፡ እኛም ተሸናፊዎች አይደለንም ፡ ፡

it is a message for you , and for your people ; and you will be questioned .
እርሱም ( ቁርኣን ) ለአንተ ፣ ለሕዘቦችህም ታላቅ ክብር ነው ፡ ፡ ወደ ፊትም ( ከርሱ ) ትጠየቃላችሁ ፡ ፡

i know not ; haply it is a trial for you and an enjoyment for a time .
እርሱም ( ቅጣትን ማቆየት ) ምናልባት ለእናንተ ፈተናና እስከ ጊዜው መጠቃቀሚያ እንደሆነም አላውቅም ፤ ( በላቸው ) ፡ ፡

and i know not ; perhaps it is a trial for you and enjoyment for a time . "
እርሱም ( ቅጣትን ማቆየት ) ምናልባት ለእናንተ ፈተናና እስከ ጊዜው መጠቃቀሚያ እንደሆነም አላውቅም ፤ ( በላቸው ) ፡ ፡

and most surely it is a reminder for you and your people , and you shall soon be questioned .
እርሱም ( ቁርኣን ) ለአንተ ፣ ለሕዘቦችህም ታላቅ ክብር ነው ፡ ፡ ወደ ፊትም ( ከርሱ ) ትጠየቃላችሁ ፡ ፡

allah said , " fear not . indeed , it is you who are superior .
« አትፍራ አንተ የበላዩ አንተ ነህና » አልነው ፡ ፡

it is indeed a reminder to you and to your nation , and without doubt you shall be questioned .
እርሱም ( ቁርኣን ) ለአንተ ፣ ለሕዘቦችህም ታላቅ ክብር ነው ፡ ፡ ወደ ፊትም ( ከርሱ ) ትጠየቃላችሁ ፡ ፡

and he it is who maketh night a covering for you , and sleep repose , and maketh day a resurrection .
እርሱም ያ ለእናንተ ሌሊትን ልብስ እንቅልፍንም ማረፊያ ያደረገ ፤ ቀንንም መበተኛ ያደረገላችሁ ነው ፡ ፡

but we said , " do not be afraid . it is you who shall prevail . "
« አትፍራ አንተ የበላዩ አንተ ነህና » አልነው ፡ ፡

and indeed , it is a remembrance for you and your people , and you [ all ] are going to be questioned .
እርሱም ( ቁርኣን ) ለአንተ ፣ ለሕዘቦችህም ታላቅ ክብር ነው ፡ ፡ ወደ ፊትም ( ከርሱ ) ትጠየቃላችሁ ፡ ፡

and do not be negligent nor grieve – it is you who will be victorious if you are believers .
እናንተም የበላዮች ስትኾኑ ምእመናን እንደኾናችሁ አትስነፉ ፤ አትዘኑም ፡ ፡

so they returned one to another saying , ' surely , it is you who are the harmdoers '
ወደ ነፍሶቻቸውም ተመለሱ ፡ ፡ « እናንተ ( በመጠየቃችሁ ) በዳዮቹ እናንተው ናችሁም » ተባባሉ ፡ ፡

and when it is said to them , ' fear what is before you and what is behind you ; haply you will find mercy ' --
ለእነርሱም « በስተፊታችሁና በኋለችሁ ያለውን ነገር ተጠንቀቁ ይታዘንላችኋልና » በተባሉ ጊዜ ( ፊታቸውን ያዞራሉ ) ፡ ፡

so they returned one to another , and they said , ' surely it is you who are the evildoers . '
ወደ ነፍሶቻቸውም ተመለሱ ፡ ፡ « እናንተ ( በመጠየቃችሁ ) በዳዮቹ እናንተው ናችሁም » ተባባሉ ፡ ፡

he said , “ this is the parting between you and me ; i shall now tell you the interpretation of the matters you could not patiently bear . ”
( ኸድር ) አለ « ይህ በእኔና በአንተ መካከል መለያያ ነው ፡ ፡ በእርሱ ላይ መታገስን ያልቻልክበትን ፍች እነግርሃለሁ ፡ ፡

he knows what you are busy with concerning this . he is sufficient as witness between you and me ; yet he is forgiving , ever-merciful . "
ይልቁንም ቀጠፈው ይላሉን ? « ብቀጥፈው ለእኔ ከአላህ ( ቅጣት ለማዳን ) ምንንም አትችሉም ፡ ፡ እርሱ ያንን በእርሱ የምትቀባዥሩበትን ዐዋቂ ነው ፡ ፡ በእኔና በእናንተ መካከል መስካሪ በእርሱ በቃ ፡ ፡ እርሱም መሓሪው አዛኙ ነው » በላቸው ፡ ፡
