በውስጧ ውድቅን ነገር አይሰሙም ፡ ፡

is it you or we who make them grow ?
እናንተ ታበቅሉታላችሁን ? ወይስ እኛ አብቃዮቹ ነን ?

is it you who cause them to grow or do we ?
እናንተ ታበቅሉታላችሁን ? ወይስ እኛ አብቃዮቹ ነን ?

and upon it , you will drink the hot boiling water .
« በእርሱ ላይም ከፈላ ውሃ ጠጪዎች ናችሁ ፡ ፡

is it you that make it grow , or are we the grower ?
እናንተ ታበቅሉታላችሁን ? ወይስ እኛ አብቃዮቹ ነን ?

is it you who cultivate it , or is it we who develop it ?
እናንተ ታበቅሉታላችሁን ? ወይስ እኛ አብቃዮቹ ነን ?

and when you look towards it , you will see serenity and a great kingdom .
እዚያም በተመለከትክ ጊዜ ጸጋንና ታላቅ ንግሥናን ታያለህ ፡ ፡

is it you that cause it to grow , or are we the causers of growth ?
እናንተ ታበቅሉታላችሁን ? ወይስ እኛ አብቃዮቹ ነን ?

if you were to see it , you would find it to be a great kingdom with great bounty .
እዚያም በተመለከትክ ጊዜ ጸጋንና ታላቅ ንግሥናን ታያለህ ፡ ፡

surely you and what you worship besides allah are the firewood of hell ; to it you shall come .
እናንተ ከአላህ ሌላ የምትግገዟቸውም ( ጣዖታት ) የገሀነም ማገዶዎች ናችሁ ፡ ፡ እናንተ ለእርሷ ወራጆች ናችሁ ፡ ፡

' abraham ' they said , ' was it you who did this to our gods '
« ኢብራሂም ሆይ ! በአማልክቶቻችን ይህንን የሠራህ አንተ ነህን » አሉት ፡ ፡

and indeed moosa came to you with clear signs , and after it you worshipped the calf – and you were unjust .
ሙሳም በታምራቶች በእርግጥ መጣላችሁ ፡ ፡ ከዚያም ከበኋላው እናንተ በዳዮች ስትኾኑ ወይፈንን ( አምላክ አድርጋችሁ ) ያዛችሁ ፡ ፡

[ it is ] he who made for you from the green tree , fire , and then from it you ignite .
ያ ለእናንተ በእርጥብ ዛፍ እሳትን ያደረገላችሁ ነው ፡ ፡ ወዲያውኑም እናንተ ከእርሱ ታቀጣጥላላችሁ ፡ ፡

and we send the winds fertilising , and cause water to descend from the sky , and give it you to drink . it is not ye who are the holders of the store thereof .
ነፋሶችንም ( ደመናን ) ተሸካሚዎች አድርገን ላክን ፡ ፡ ከሰማይም ( ከደመና ) ዝናብን አወረድን ፡ ፡ እርሱንም አጠጣናችሁ ፡ ፡ እናንተም ለእርሱ አድላቢዎች አይደላችሁም ፡ ፡

[ ask them , ] ‘ do you say that abraham , ishmael , isaac , jacob , and the tribes were jews or christians ? ’ say , ‘ is it you who know better , or allah ? ’
ወይም ኢብራሂም ኢስማዒልም ኢስሐቅም ያዕቁብም ነገዶቹም አይሁዶች ወይም ክርስቲያኖች ነበሩ ትላላችሁን ? « እናንተ ታውቃላችሁን ? ወይንስ አላህ ? » በላቸው ፡ ፡ እርሱም ዘንድ ከአላህ የኾነችን ምስክርነት ከደበቀ ሰው ይበልጥ በዳይ ማነው ? አላህም ከምትሠሩት ሁሉ ዘንጊ አይደለም ፡ ፡
