በል « እርሱ አላህ አንድ ነው ፡ ፡

allah effaceth what he will , and establisheth ( what he will ) , and with him is the source of ordinance .
አላህ የሚሻውን ያብሳል ፤ ያጸድቃልም ፡ ፡ የመጽሐፉ መሠረትም እርሱ ዘንድ ነው ፡ ፡

god is the only lord and to him belong all the exalted names .
አላህ ከእርሱ ሌላ አምላክ የለም ፡ ፡ ለእርሱ መልካሞች የኾኑ ስሞች አልሉት ፡ ፡

god is the most exalted king and the supreme truth . he is the only god and the lord of the gracious throne .
የእውነቱም ንጉስ አላህ ከፍተኛነት ተገባው ፡ ፡ ከእርሱ ሌላ አምላክ የለም ፡ ፡ የሚያምረው ዐርሽ ጌታ ነው ፡ ፡

ክርስቶስ ነው ብሎ በኢየሱስ የሚያምን ሁሉ ከእግዚአብሔር ተወልዶአል፥ ወላጁንም የሚወድ ሁሉ ከእርሱ የተወለደውን ደግሞ ይወዳል።

ክርስቶስ አይደለም ብሎ ኢየሱስን ከሚክድ በቀር ውሸተኛው ማን ነው? አብንና ወልድን የሚክድ ይህ የክርስቶስ ተቃዋሚ ነው።

this is an admonition for the people that they will be warned and know that he is the only god , and so that the people of understanding may take heed .
ይህ ( ቁርኣን ) ለሰዎች ገላጭ ነው ፡ ፡ ( ሊመከሩበት ) ፣ በእርሱም ሊስፈራሩበት ፣ እርሱም አንድ አምላክ ብቻ መኾኑን ሊያውቁበት ፣ የአእምሮ ባለቤቶችም ሊገሰፁበት ( የተወረደ ) ነው ፡ ፡

ከባሮቹ በሚሻው ሰው ላይ መላእክትን ከራእይ ጋር በፈቃዱ ያወርዳል ( ከሓዲዎችን በቅጣት ) አስጠንቅቁ ፤ እነሆ ከኔ በቀር ሌላ አምላክ የለም ፤ ፍሩኝም ማለትን ( አስታውቁ በማለት ያወርዳል ) ፡ ፡

( muhammad ) , tell them , " jesus is a sign of the hour of doom . have no doubt about it and follow me ; this is the straight path .
እርሱም ( ዒሳ ) ለሰዓቲቱ ( ማወቂያ ) በእርግጥ ምልክት ነው ፡ ፡ « በእርሷም አትጠራጠሩ ፡ ፡ ተከተሉኝም ፤ ይህ ቀጥተኛ መንገድ ነው » ( በላቸው ) ፡ ፡

do you believe that other gods exist besides god ? i solemnly declare that he is the only lord and that i am not guilty of believing in what the pagans believe . "
« በምስክርነት ከነገሩ ሁሉ ይበልጥ ታላቅ ማነው » በላቸው ፡ ፡ ( ሌላ መልስ የለምና ) « አላህ ነው ፡ ፡ በእኔና በእናንተ መካከል መስካሪ ነው ፡ ፡ ይህም ቁርኣን እናንተንና የደረሰውን ሰው ሁሉ በርሱ ላስፈራራበት ወደኔ ተወረደ ፡ ፡ ከአላህ ጋር ሌሎች አማልክት መኖራቸውን እናንተ ትመሰክራላችሁን » በላቸው ፡ ፡ « እኔ አልመሰክርም » በላቸው ፡ ፡ « እርሱ አንድ አምላክ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ እኔም ከምታጋሩት ነገር ንጹሕ ነኝ » በላቸው ፡ ፡

the life of this world is nothing but sport and a diversion . it is the life of the hereafter which is the only true life , if they but knew it .
ይህችም የቅርቢቱ ሕይወት መታለያና ጨዋታ እንጂ ሌላ አይደለችም ፡ ፡ የመጨረሻይቱም አገር እርሷ በእርግጥ የዘላለም ሕይወት አገር ናት ፡ ፡ የሚያውቁ ቢኾኑ ኖሮ ፤ ( ጠፊይቱን ሕይወት አይመርጡም ነበር ) ፡ ፡

he is the only god and it is only he who deserves to be given thanks in this world and in the life to come . judgment is in his hands and to him you will all return .
እርሱም አላህ ነው ፡ ፡ ከእርሱ ሌላ አምላክ የለም ፡ ፡ ምስጋና በመጀመሪያይቱም በመጨረሻይቱም ዓለም ለእርሱ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ ፍርዱም የእርሱ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ ወደእርሱም ትመለሳላችሁ ፡ ፡

if they will not respond to you , know that god has sent it with his knowledge and that he is the only god . will you then become muslims ? "
ለእናንተም ( ጥሪውን ) ባይቀበሏችሁ የተወረደው በአላህ እውቀት ብቻ መሆኑንና ከእርሱ ሌላ አምላክ አለመኖሩን ዕወቁ ፡ ፡ ታዲያ እናንተ የምትሰልሙ ናችሁን ( ስለሙ በላቸው ) ፡ ፡

and allah has proclaimed , “ do not ascribe two gods ; indeed he is the only one god ; therefore fear me alone . ”
አላህም አለ « ሁለት አማልክትን አትያዙ ፡ ፡ እርሱ አንድ አምላክ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ እኔንም ብቻ ፍሩ ፡ ፡ »
