ዮናስ ለነነዌ ሰዎች ምልክት እንደ ሆናቸው፥ እንዲሁ ደግሞ የሰው ልጅ ለዚህ ትውልድ ምልክት ይሆናል።

ዮናስ በዓሣ አንባሪ ሆድ ሦስት ቀንና ሦስት ሌሊት እንደ ነበረ፥ እንዲሁ የሰው ልጅ በምድር ልብ ሦስት ቀንና ሦስት ሌሊት ይኖራል።
