ጠዋት እነግርሀለው ያለውን ነገር

i tertius, who wrote this epistle, salute you in the lord.
ይህን መልእክት የጻፍሁ እኔ ጤርጥዮስ በጌታ ሰላምታ አቀርብላችኋለሁ።

« ወገኖቼም ሆይ ! ወደ መዳን የምጠራችሁ ስኾን ወደ እሳትም የምትጠሩኝ ስትኾኑ ለኔ ምን አለኝ !

my people , " how strange is it that i invite you to salvation when you invite me to the fire .
« ወገኖቼም ሆይ ! ወደ መዳን የምጠራችሁ ስኾን ወደ እሳትም የምትጠሩኝ ስትኾኑ ለኔ ምን አለኝ !

lo , when the waters rose , we bore you in the running ship
እኛ ውሃው ባየለ ጊዜ በተንሻላይቱ ታንኳ ውስጥ ጫንናችሁ ፡ ፡

when the waters overflowed , we carried you in the cruising ship .
እኛ ውሃው ባየለ ጊዜ በተንሻላይቱ ታንኳ ውስጥ ጫንናችሁ ፡ ፡

do you , in the world , want to have carnal relations with males
« ከዓለማት ሰዎች ወንዶችን ትመጣላችሁን

i was daily with you in the temple teaching, and ye took me not: but the scriptures must be fulfilled.
በመቅደስ ዕለት ዕለት እያስተማርሁ ከእናንተ ጋር ስኖር አልያዛችሁኝም፤ ነገር ግን መጻሕፍት ይፈጸሙ ዘንድ ይህ ሆነ አላቸው።

it is he who scattered you in the earth , and to him you shall be mustered .
እርሱም ያ በምድር ውስጥ የበተናችሁ ነው ፡ ፡ ወደርሱም ትሰበሰባላችሁ ፡ ፡

and he it is who multiplied you in the earth , and to him you shall be gathered .
እርሱም ያ በምድር ውስጥ የበተናችሁ ነው ፡ ፡ ወደርሱም ትሰበሰባላችሁ ፡ ፡

and had we willed we could have appointed angels born of you in the earth to succeed each other .
ብንሻም ኖሮ በምድር ላይ ከእናነተ ምትክ መላእክትን ባደረግን ነበር ፡ ፡

are your infidels better than these ? or is there an immunity for you in the writs ?
ከሓዲዎቻችሁ ከእነዚህ በላጮች ናቸውን ? ወይስ ለናንተ በመጽሐፎች ውስጥ ( የተነገረ ) ነፃነት አላችሁን ?

and when the waters rose ( high ) we carried you in the sailing ( ark ) ,
እኛ ውሃው ባየለ ጊዜ በተንሻላይቱ ታንኳ ውስጥ ጫንናችሁ ፡ ፡

and assuredly we established you in the earth and appointed for you livelihoods therein ; yet little thanks ye return .
በምድርም ላይ በእርግጥ አስመቸናችሁ ፡ ፡ በእርሷም ላይ ለናንተ መኖሪያዎችን አደረግንላችሁ ፤ ምስጋናችሁ በጣም ጥቂት ነው ፡ ፡

and that which he has multiplied for you in the earth of diverse hues . surely in that is a sign for a people who remember .
በምድርም ላይ መልኮቹ የተለያዩ ኾኖ ለእናንተ የፈጠረላችሁን ሁሉ ( ገራላችሁ ) ፡ ፡ በዚህ ውስጥ ለሚገሰጹ ሕዝቦች በእርግጥ ተዓምር አልለ ፡ ፡

and certainly we have established you in the earth and made in it means of livelihood for you ; little it is that you give thanks .
በምድርም ላይ በእርግጥ አስመቸናችሁ ፡ ፡ በእርሷም ላይ ለናንተ መኖሪያዎችን አደረግንላችሁ ፤ ምስጋናችሁ በጣም ጥቂት ነው ፡ ፡

and indeed we established you in the earth and in it created for you the means of livelihood ; very little thanks do you offer !
በምድርም ላይ በእርግጥ አስመቸናችሁ ፡ ፡ በእርሷም ላይ ለናንተ መኖሪያዎችን አደረግንላችሁ ፤ ምስጋናችሁ በጣም ጥቂት ነው ፡ ፡

indeed , there was a sign for you in the two armies which met on the battlefield . one was fighting in the way of allah , and another unbelieving .
( የበድር ቀን ) በተጋጠሙት ሁለት ጭፍሮች ለናንተ በእርግጥ ተዓምር አልለ ፡ ፡ አንደኛዋ ጭፍራ በአላህ መንገድ ትጋደላለች ፡ ፡ ሌላይቱም ከሓዲ ናት ፡ ፡ ከሓዲዎቹ ( አማኞቹን ) በዓይን አስተያየት እጥፋቸውን ኾነው ያዩዋቸዋል ፡ ፡ አላህም በርዳታው የሚሻውን ሰው ያበረታል ፡ ፡ በዚህ ውስጥ ለማስተዋል ባለቤቶች በእርግጥ መገሰጫ አለበት ፡ ፡

god intends to make things clear to you , and to guide you in the ways of those before you , and to redeem you . god is most knowing , most wise .
አላህ ( የሃይማኖታችሁን ሕግጋት ) ሊያብራራላችሁ ከእናንተ በፊትም የነበሩትን ነቢያት ደንቦች ሊመራችሁ በእናንተም ላይ ጸጸትን ሊቀበል ይሻል ፡ ፡ አላህም ዐዋቂ ጥበበኛ ነው ፡ ፡
