that you may not transgress in the balance ,
በሚዛን ( ስትመዝኑ ) እንዳትበድሉ ፡ ፡

in order that you may not corrupt the balance .
በሚዛን ( ስትመዝኑ ) እንዳትበድሉ ፡ ፡

that you may not be inordinate in respect of the measure .
በሚዛን ( ስትመዝኑ ) እንዳትበድሉ ፡ ፡

in order that ye may not transgress ( due ) balance .
በሚዛን ( ስትመዝኑ ) እንዳትበድሉ ፡ ፡

and yet there is a barrier between them which they may not overstep .
( እንዳይዋሐዱ ) በመካከላቸው ጋራጅ አልለ ፡ ፡ ( አንዱ ባንዱ ላይ ) ወሰን አያልፉም ፡ ፡

let their eyes be darkened, that they may not see, and bow down their back alway.
ዓይኖቻቸው እንዳያዩ ይጨልሙ፥ ጀርባቸውንም ዘወትር አጉብጥ ብሎአል።

or that he may not seize them in the course of their journeys , then shall they not escape ;
ወይም ( ካገር ወደ አገር ) በሚዛወሩበት ጊዜ የሚይዛቸው መኾኑን ( አይፈሩምን ) እነሱም አሸናፊዎች አይደሉም ፡ ፡

or that he may not seize them by causing them to suffer gradual loss , for your lord is most surely compassionate , merciful .
ወይም ቀስ በቀስ በማጉደል ላይ የሚይዛቸው መኾኑን ( አይፈሩምን ) ጌታችሁም በእርግጥ ርኅሩኅ አዛኝ ነው ፡ ፡

and he placed mountains as anchors in the earth so that it may not shake along with you , and streams and roads for you to find course .
በምድርም ውስጥ በእናንተ እንዳታረገርግ ተራራዎችን ጣለባት ፡ ፡ ጂረቶችንም ፣ መንገዶችንም ትመሩ ዘንድ ( አደረገ ) ፡ ፡

it is he who sent his messenger with guidance and the true faith in order to make it superior to other systems of belief , even though the idolaters may not like it .
እርሱ ያ አጋሪዎቹ ቢጠሉም መልክተኛውን ( ሙሐመድን ) በቅን መንገድና በእውነተኛ ሃይማኖት ላይ ከሃይማኖት ሁሉ በላይ ይፋ ያደርገው ዘንድ የላከው ነው ፡ ፡

" my breast will be straitened . and my speech may not go ( smoothly ) : so send unto aaron .
« ልቤም ይጠብባል ፡ ፡ ምላሴም አይፈታም ፡ ፡ ስለዚህ ወደ ሃሩን ላክ ፡ ፡

in order that ye may not despair over matters that pass you by , nor exult over favours bestowed upon you . for allah loveth not any vainglorious boaster , -
( ይህ ማሳወቃችን ) ባመለጣችሁ ጸጋ ላይ እንዳታዝኑ አላህም በሰጣችሁ ነገር ( በትዕቢት ) እንዳትደሰቱ ነው ፡ ፡ አላህም ኩራተኛን ጉረኛን ሁሉ አይወድም ፡ ፡

a faithful man or woman may not have any option in their matter , when allah and his apostle have decided on a matter , and whoever disobeys allah and his apostle has certainly strayed into manifest error .
አላህና መልክተኛውም ነገርን በፈረዱ ጊዜ ለምእምናንና ለምእምናት ከነገራቸው ለእነርሱ ምርጫ ሊኖራቸው አይገባም ! የአላህንና የመልክተኛውንም ትእዛዝ የጣሰ ሰው ግልጽ የሆነን መሳሳት በእርግጥ ተሳሳተ ፡ ፡

( we do so ) that you may not grieve over the loss you suffer , nor exult over what he gave you . allah does not love the vainglorious , the boastful ,
( ይህ ማሳወቃችን ) ባመለጣችሁ ጸጋ ላይ እንዳታዝኑ አላህም በሰጣችሁ ነገር ( በትዕቢት ) እንዳትደሰቱ ነው ፡ ፡ አላህም ኩራተኛን ጉረኛን ሁሉ አይወድም ፡ ፡

a prophet may not breach his trust , and whoever breaches his trust will bring his breaches on the day of resurrection ; then every soul shall be recompensed fully for what it has earned , and they will not be wronged .
ለነቢይም ሰለባን መደበቅ አይገባውም ፡ ፡ ሰለባንም የሚደብቅ ሰው በትንሣኤ ቀን በደበቀው ነገር ( ተሸክሞ ) ይመጣል ፡ ፡ ከዚያም ነፍስ ሁሉ የሥራዋን ዋጋ ትሞላለች ፡ ፡ እነርሱም አይበደሉም ፡ ፡

and do not make your oaths phoney excuses between yourselves , so that a foot may not slip after being steadfast and you may taste evil because you were preventing from allah s way ’ ; and lest you be severely punished .
ጫማዎች ከተደላደሉ በኋላ እንዳይንዳለጡ ከአላህም መንገድ በመከልከላችሁ ምክንያት ቅጣትን እንዳትቀምሱ መሓሎቻችሁን በመካከላችሁ ለክዳት መግቢያ አድርጋችሁ አትያዙ ፡ ፡ ለእናንተም ( ያን ጊዜ ) ታላቅ ቅጣት አላችሁ ፡ ፡

( but you may not emulate ) abraham 's saying to his father : “ certainly i will ask pardon for you , although i have no power over allah to obtain anything on your behalf . ” ( and abraham and his companions prayed ) : “ our lord , in you have we put our trust , and to you have we turned , and to you is our ultimate return .
በኢብራሂምና በእነዚያ ከእርሱ ጋር በነበሩት ( ምእምናን ) መልካም መከተል አለቻችሁ ፡ ፡ ለሕዝቦቻቸው « እኛ ከእናንተ ከአላህ ሌላ ከምትግገዙትም ንጹሖች ነን ፡ ፡ በእናንተ ካድን ፡ ፡ በአላህ አንድ ብቻ ሲኾን እስከምታምኑ ድረስ በእኛና በእናንተ መካከል ጠብና ጥላቻ ዘወትር ተገለጸ ፡ ፡ » ባሉ ጊዜ ( መልካም መከተል አለቻችሁ ) ፡ ፡ ኢብራሂም ለአባቱ « እኔ ለአንተ ከአላህ ( ቅጣት ) ምንም የማልጠቅም ስኾን ለአንተ በእርግጥ ምሕረትን እለምንልኻለሁ » ማለቱ ብቻ ሲቀር ፡ ፡ « ጌታችን ሆይ ! በአንተ ላይ ተመካን ፡ ፡ ወደ አንተም ተመለስን መመለሻም ወደ አንተ ብቻ ነው ፤ » ( ባለው ተከተሉት ) ፡ ፡
