ይህ ( ፊት ትሉ እንደነበራችሁት ) ድግምት ነውን ? ወይስ እናንተ አታዩምን ?

ይህ ( ፊት ትሉ እንደነበራችሁት ) ድግምት ነውን ? ወይስ እናንተ አታዩምን ?

and what is this in your right hand , o musa !
« ሙሳ ሆይ ! ይህችም በቀኝ እጅህ ያለችው ምንድን ናት » ( ተባለ ) ፡ ፡

is this not a better reward than the tree of zaqqum
በመስተንግዶነት ይህ ይበልጣልን ? ወይስ የዘቁም ዛፍ ?

is this a better hospitality or the tree of azzakkum !
በመስተንግዶነት ይህ ይበልጣልን ? ወይስ የዘቁም ዛፍ ?

በመስተንግዶነት ይህ ይበልጣልን ? ወይስ የዘቁም ዛፍ ?

« የትንሣኤው ቀን መቼ ነው ? » ሲል ይጠይቃል ፡ ፡

ይህ ( ፊት ትሉ እንደነበራችሁት ) ድግምት ነውን ? ወይስ እናንተ አታዩምን ?

አእምሮዎቻቸው በዚህ ያዟቸዋልን ? አይደለም በእውነቱ እነርሱ ወሰን አላፊዎች ሕዝቦች ናቸው ፡ ፡

( to which god ) said : " this way is right by me .
( አላህም ) አለ « ይህ በእኔ ላይ ( መጠበቁ የተገባ ) ቀጥተኛ መንገድ ነው ፡ ፡ »

and they say , “ when is this promise due , if you are truthful ? ”
« እውነተኞችም እንደ ሆናችሁ ይህ ቀጠሮ መቼ ነው ? » ይላሉ ፡ ፡

and they say , " when is this promise , if you should be truthful ? "
« እውነተኞችም እንደ ሆናችሁ ይህ ቀጠሮ መቼ ነው ? » ይላሉ ፡ ፡

assuredly we have been promised this aforetime , we and our fathers . naught is this but fables of the ancients .
« ይህንን እኛም ከፊት የነበሩት አባቶቻችንም በእርግጥ ተቀጥረንበታል ፡ ፡ ይህ የመጀመሪያዎቹ ሰዎች ተረቶች እንጅ ሌላ አይደለም » ( አሉ ) ፡ ፡

and they say : when is this promise ( to be fulfilled ) if ye are truthful ?
« እውነተኞችም እንደ ሆናችሁ ይህ ቀጠሮ መቼ ነው ? » ይላሉ ፡ ፡

she said : oh for me shall bring forth when i am old , and this my husband is advanced in years ! verily a marvellous thing is this !
( እርሷም ) ዋልኝ ! እኔ አሮጊት ይህም ባሌ ሽማግሌ ሆኖ ሳለ እወልዳለሁን ይህ በእርግጥ አስደናቂ ነገር ነው አለች ፡ ፡

and is this a favor of which you remind me - that you have enslaved the children of israel ? "
« ይህችም የእስራኤልን ልጆች ባሪያ በማድረግህ በእኔ ላይ የምትመጻደቅባት ጸጋ ነት ፡ ፡ »
