ተከልከል ፡ ፡ እርሷ ማስገንዘቢያ ናት ፡ ፡

never a city have we destroyed , but it had a known decree ,
ማንኛይቱንም ከተማ ለእርሷ የተወሰነ መጽሐፍ ( ጊዜያት ) ያላት ኾና እንጂ አላጠፋንም ፡ ፡

in this is a lesson for whoever fears .
በዚህ ውስጥ ለሚፈራ ሰው በእርግጥ መገምገሚያ አለበት ፡ ፡

so we made them a bygone fable and a lesson for the latter generations .
( በጥፋት ) ቀዳሚዎችና ለኋለኞቹ ( መቀጣጫ ) ምሳሌም አደረግናቸው ፡ ፡

and he is indeed a failure who stunteth it .
( በኀጢኣት ) የሸፈናትም ሰው በእውነት አፈረ ፡ ፡

indeed in this is a lesson for one who fears .
በዚህ ውስጥ ለሚፈራ ሰው በእርግጥ መገምገሚያ አለበት ፡ ፡

a lesson and a reminder for every penitent worshiper .
( ይህንን ያደረግነው ) ተመላሽ ለኾነ ባሪያ ሁሉ ለማሳየትና ለማስገንዘብ ነው ፡ ፡

as a lesson and a reminder to every penitent worshiper .

in this there is a lesson for those who have fear of god .
በዚህ ውስጥ ለሚፈራ ሰው በእርግጥ መገምገሚያ አለበት ፡ ፡

surely there is in this a lesson for the god-fearing .
በዚህ ውስጥ ለሚፈራ ሰው በእርግጥ መገምገሚያ አለበት ፡ ፡

as a lesson and reminder for every human being who turns to god ;
( ይህንን ያደረግነው ) ተመላሽ ለኾነ ባሪያ ሁሉ ለማሳየትና ለማስገንዘብ ነው ፡ ፡

and in musa also was a lesson , when we sent him unto fir 'awn with authority manifest .
በሙሳም ( ወሬ ) ውስጥ ወደ ፈርዖን በግልጽ ማስረጃ በላክነው ጊዜ ( ምልክትን አደረግን ) ፡ ፡

and we made them a precedent ( as a lesson for those coming after them ) , and an example to later generations .
( በጥፋት ) ቀዳሚዎችና ለኋለኞቹ ( መቀጣጫ ) ምሳሌም አደረግናቸው ፡ ፡

አላህ ሌሊትንና ቀንን ያገላብጣል ፡ ፡ በዚህም ለባለ ውስጥ ዓይኖች በእርግጥ ማስረጃ አልለበት ፡ ፡

allah alternates the night and the day . indeed in that is a lesson for those who have vision .

( ቅጣቲቱንም ) ለነዚያ በስተፊትዋ ለነበሩትና ለነዚያም ከበኋላዋ ላሉት ( ሕዝቦች ) መቀጣጫ ለፈራህያንም መገሰጫ አደረግናት ፡ ፡

allah causeth the revolution of the day and the night . lo ! herein is indeed a lesson for those who see .
አላህ ሌሊትንና ቀንን ያገላብጣል ፡ ፡ በዚህም ለባለ ውስጥ ዓይኖች በእርግጥ ማስረጃ አልለበት ፡ ፡

and indeed , for you in livestock is a lesson . we give you drink from that which is in their bellies , and for you in them are numerous benefits , and from them you eat .
ለእናንተም በግመል ፣ በከብት ፣ በፍየልና በበግ መገምገሚያ አልላችሁ ፡ ፡ በሆዶችዋ ውስጥ ካለው ( ወተት ) እናጠጣችኋለን ፡ ፡ ለእናንተም በእርሷ ብዙ ጥቅሞች አሏችሁ ፡ ፡ ከእርሷም ትበላላችሁ ፡ ፡

all these are to serve as eye openers and as a lesson to every being who is prone to turn ( to the truth ) .
( ይህንን ያደረግነው ) ተመላሽ ለኾነ ባሪያ ሁሉ ለማሳየትና ለማስገንዘብ ነው ፡ ፡
