በአላህም ቃል ኪዳን ጥቂትን ዋጋ አትግዙ ፡ ፡ የምታውቁ ብትኾኑ አላህ ዘንድ ያለው ምንዳ እርሱ ለእናንተ በላጭ ነውና ፡ ፡

if god were to seize men for their doings , not a living being would be left upon the earth . but he gives them respite for a time ordained .
አላህም ሰዎችን በሠሩት ኀጢአት ቢይዝ ኖሮ በወለሏ ( በምድር ) ላይ ምንም ተንቀሳቃሽ ባልተወ ነበር ፡ ፡ ግን እተወሰነ ጊዜ ድረስ ያቆያቸዋል ፡ ፡ ጊዜያቸውም በመጣ ወቅት ( በኀጢአታቸው ይቀጣቸዋል ) ፡ ፡ አላህ በባሮቹ ( ኹኔታ ) ተመልካች ነውና ፡ ፡

he said : do you dislike my gods , o ibrahim ? if you do not desist i will certainly revile you , and leave me for a time .
( አባቱም ) « ኢብራሂም ሆይ ! አንተ አምላኮቼን ትተህ የምትዞር ነህን ባትከለከል በእርግጥ እወግርሃለሁ ፡ ፡ ረዥም ጊዜንም ተወኝ » አለ ፡ ፡

but if you do not bring him with you , then i shall have no grain for you , nor should you come back to me . "
እርሱንም ባታመጡልኝ እኔ ዘንድ ለእናንተ ስፍር የላችሁም ፤ አትቀርቡኝምም ፡ ፡ »

they said , ‘ indeed we take you for a bad omen . if you do not desist we will stone you , and surely a painful punishment will visit you from us . ’
( ሕዝቦቹም ) « እኛ በእናንተ ገደ ቢሶች ኾን ፡ ፡ ባትከለከሉ በእርግጥ እንወግራችኋለን ፡ ፡ ከእኛም አሳማሚ ቅጣት በእርግጥ ያገኛችኋል » አሉ ፡ ፡

and firon 's wife said : a refreshment of the eye to me and to you ; do not slay him ; maybe he will be useful to us , or we may take him for a son ; and they did not perceive .
የፈርዖንም ሚስት « ለእኔ የዓይኔ መርጊያ ነው ፡ ፡ ለአንተም ፡ ፡ አትግደሉት ፡ ፡ ሊጠቅመን ወይም ልጅ አድርገን ልንይዘው ይከጀላልና » አለች ፡ ፡ እነርሱም ( ፍጻሜውን ) የማያውቁ ሆነው ( አነሱት ) ፡ ፡

until , when all of them have arrived , allah will say : " did you give the lie to my signs even without encompassing them with your knowledge ? if that is not so , what did you do ? "
በመጡም ጊዜ ( አላህ ) ይላቸዋል « በአንቀጾቼ እርሷን በማወቅ ያላዳረሳችሁ ስትሆኑ አስተባበላችሁን ወይስ ምንን ትሠሩ ነበራችሁ »

and they say : fire shall not touch us but for a few days . say : have you received a promise from allah , then allah will not fail to perform his promise , or do you speak against allah what you do not know ?
« እሳትም የተቆጠሩን ቀኖች እንጂ አትነካንም » አሉ ፡ ፡ « አላህ ዘንድ ቃል ኪዳን ይዛችኋልን ? ( ይህ ከኾነ ) አላህም ኪዳኑን አያፈርስም ፤ በእውነቱ በአላህ ላይ የማታውቁትን ትናገራላችሁ » በላቸው ፡ ፡

and ( as for ) those of you who die and leave wives behind , they should keep themselves in waiting for four months and ten days ; then when they have fully attained their term , there is no blame on you for what they do for themselves in a lawful manner ; and allah is aware of what you do .
እነዚያም ከናንተ ውስጥ የሚሞቱና ሚስቶችን የሚተዉ ( ሚስቶቻቸው ) በነፍሶቻቸው አራት ወሮች ከዐስር ( ቀናት ከጋብቻ ) ይታገሱ ፡ ፡ ጊዜያቸውንም በጨረሱ ጊዜ በነፍሶቻቸው በታወቀ ሕግ በሠሩት ነገር በእናንተ ላይ ኃጢአት የለባችሁም ፡ ፡ አላህም በምትሠሩት ሁሉ ውስጥ ዐዋቂ ነው ፡ ፡
