« ድግምተኞቹን እነሱ አሸናፊዎች ቢኾኑ እንከተል ዘንድ » ( ተባለ ) ፡ ፡

let them produce a discourse like it if they are true in their claim .
እውነተኞችም ቢኾኑ መሰሉ የኾነን ንግግር ያምጡ ፡ ፡

and if they are bent on divorce , god hears all and knows everything .
መፍታትንም ቁርጥ አሳብ ቢያደርጉ ( ይፍቱ ) ፡ ፡ አላህም ሰሚ ዐዋቂ ነው ፡ ፡

god has sealed their hearts , ears and eyes and they are not aware of it .
እነዚያ እነርሱ በልቦቻቸው ፣ በዓይኖቻቸውም ፣ በጆሮዎቻቸውም ላይ አላህ ያተመባቸው ናቸው ፡ ፡ እነዚያም ዝንጉዎቹ እነሱ ናቸው ፡ ፤

behold ! they are themselves the agents of corruption , but they are not aware .
ንቁ እነርሱ አጥፊዎቹ እነሱው ናቸው ፤ ግን አያውቁም ፡ ፡

except from their wives and slave girls , in which case they are not to be blamed ,
በሚስቶቻቸው ወይም እጆቻቸው በያዙዋቸው ( ባሪያዎች ) ላይ ሲቀር ፡ ፡ እነርሱ ( በእነዚህ ) የማይወቀሱ ናቸውና ፡ ፡

except from their wives and what their right hands own , for these they are not blameworthy .
በሚስቶቻቸው ወይም እጆቻቸው በያዙዋቸው ( ባሪያዎች ) ላይ ሲቀር ፡ ፡ እነርሱ ( በእነዚህ ) የማይወቀሱ ናቸውና ፡ ፡

( apart from their spouses and their slave women , for then they are not blameworthy ;
በሚስቶቻቸው ወይም እጆቻቸው በያዙዋቸው ( ባሪያዎች ) ላይ ሲቀር ፡ ፡ እነርሱ ( በእነዚህ ) የማይወቀሱ ናቸውና ፡ ፡

( if they are truthful in this ) , then let them produce a discourse of similar splendour .
እውነተኞችም ቢኾኑ መሰሉ የኾነን ንግግር ያምጡ ፡ ፡

' it was their great one amongst them that did it . ask them , if they are able to speak '
« አይደለም ይህ ታላቃቸው ሠራው ፡ ፡ ይናገሩም እንደ ኾነ ጠይቋቸው » አለ ፡ ፡

ከነሱም ውስጥ በምጽዋቶች የሚዘልፉህ ሰዎች አሉ ፡ ፡ ከርሷም ( የሚሹትን ) ቢስሰጡ ይደሰታሉ ፡ ፡ ከርሷም ባይስሰጡ እነሱ ያን ጊዜ ይጠላሉ ፡ ፡
