for he had healed many; insomuch that they pressed upon him for to touch him, as many as had plagues.
ብዙ ሰዎችን አድኖ ነበርና፥ ስለዚህም ሥቃይ ያለባቸው ሁሉ እንዲዳስሱት ይወድቁበት ነበር።

each sign we showed them was more marvelous than its counterpart . and we afflicted them with the plagues , so that they may repent .
ከተዓምርም አንዲትንም አናሳያቸውም እርሷ ከብጤዋ በጣም የበለጠች ብትኾን እንጅ ፡ ፡ ( ከክህደታቸው ) ይመለሱም ዘንድ በቅጣት ያዝናቸው ፡ ፡

and men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of god, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.
ሰዎችም በታላቅ ትኵሳት ተቃጠሉ፥ በነዚህም መቅሠፍቶች ላይ ሥልጣን ያለውን የእግዚአብሔርን ስም ተሳደቡ፥ ክብርንም እንዲሰጡት ንስሐ አልገቡም።

and the seven angels came out of the temple, having the seven plagues, clothed in pure and white linen, and having their breasts girded with golden girdles.
ሰባቱንም መቅሠፍት የያዙ ሰባቱ መላእክት ከመቅደሱ ወጡ፤ ከተልባ እግርም የተሠራ ጥሩ የጌጥ ልብስ ለበሱ ደረታቸውንም በወርቅ መታጠቂያ ታጠቁ።

and i heard another voice from heaven, saying, come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.
ከሰማይም ሌላ ድምፅ ሰማሁ እንዲህ ሲል። ሕዝቤ ሆይ፥ በኃጢአትዋ እንዳትተባበሩ ከመቅሠፍትዋም እንዳትቀበሉ ከእርስዋ ዘንድ ውጡ፤

and the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of god, and from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled.
ከእግዚአብሔርም ክብርና ከኃይሉ ጢስ በመቅደሱ ሞላበት፥ የሰባቱ መላእክት ሰባቱ መቅሰፍት እስኪፈጸሙ ድረስ አንድ እንኳ ወደ መቅደሱ ይገባ ዘንድ አልቻለም።

these have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.
እነዚህ ትንቢት በሚናገሩበት ወራት ዝናብ እንዳይዘንብ ሰማይን ሊዘጉ ሥልጣን አላቸው፥ ውኃዎችንም ወደ ደም ሊለውጡ በሚፈልጉበትም ጊዜ ሁሉ በመቅሠፍት ሁሉ ምድርን ሊመቱ ሥልጣን አላቸው።

therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the lord god who judgeth her.
ስለዚህ በአንድ ቀን ሞትና ኀዘን ራብም የሆኑ መቅሰፍቶችዋ ይመጣሉ፥ በእሳትም ትቃጠላለች፤ የሚፈርድባት እግዚአብሔር ብርቱ ነውና።

a blanketing sleep came over you as a ( measure of ) security from him , and he sent down rain from the skies to cleanse you , and to remove the plague of satan , and to strengthen your hearts and steady your steps .
ከእርሱ በኾነው ጸጥታ ( በጦር ግንባር ) በእንቅልፍ በሸፈናችሁና ውሃውንም በእርሱ ሊያጠራችሁ ፣ የሰይጣንንም ጉትጎታ ከእናንተ ሊያስወግድላችሁ ፣ ልቦቻችሁንም ( በትዕግስት ) ሊያጠነክርላችሁ ፣ በእርሱም ጫማዎችን ( በአሸዋው ላይ ) ሊያደላድልላችሁ በእናንተ ላይ ከሰማይ ባወረደላችሁ ጊዜ ( አስታውሱ ) ፡ ፡
