ልጄ ልትሆኑ ትችላላችሁ

« ሃሩንን ወንድሜን ፡ ፡

let him be my partner in this task
« በነገሬም አጋራው ፡ ፡

yours shall be your requital , and mine shall be my requital .
« ለእናንተ ሃይማኖታችሁ አልላችሁ ፡ ፡ ለእኔም ሃይማኖቴ አለኝ ፡ ፡

the hour has come and split is the moon .
ሰዓቲቱ ( የትንሣኤ ቀን ) ተቃረበች ፤ ጨረቃም ተገመሰ ፡ ፡

indeed what you are promised will surely come , and you will not be able to thwart it .
የምትቀጠሩት ሁሉ በእርግጥ መጪ ነው ፡ ፡ እናንተም አምላጮች አይደላችሁም ፡ ፡

and your lord has come and the angels , rank upon rank ,
መላእክትም ሰልፍ ሰልፍ ኾነው ጌታህ ( ትዕዛዙ ) በመጣ ጊዜ ፤

and thy lord shall come and the angels , rank on rank .
መላእክትም ሰልፍ ሰልፍ ኾነው ጌታህ ( ትዕዛዙ ) በመጣ ጊዜ ፤

say thou : the truth is come , and falsehood shall neither originate nor be restored . "
« እውነቱ መጣ ፡ ፡ ውሸትም መነሻም መድረሻም የለውም ( ተወገደ ) » በላቸው ፡ ፡

and every soul shall come , and with it a driver and a witness .
ነፍስም ሁሉ ከእርሷ ጋር ነጂና መስካሪ ያለባት ኾና ትመጣለች ፡ ፡

all that is in the life to come and all that is in this life belongs only to god .
መጨረሻይቱም መጀመሪያይቱም ( ዓለም ) የአላህ ብቻ ናቸው ፡ ፡

and he told them , " these are my guests , so do not disgrace me .
( ሉጥም ) አለ « እነዚህ እንግዶቼ ናቸውና አታጋልጡኝ ፡ ፡

i shall sternly punish the unbelievers in this life and in the life to come and no one will help them .
« እነዚያማ የካዱትን ሰዎች በቅርቢቱ ዓለምና በመጨረሻይቱ ዓለም ብርቱን ቅጣት እቀጣቸዋለሁ ፡ ፡ ለእነርሱም ምንም ረዳቶች የሏቸውም ፡ ፡ »

and allah does not respite a soul when its appointed term has come , and allah is aware of what you do .
ማንኛይቱም ነፍስ የሞት ጊዜዋ በመጣበት ጊዜ አላህ በፍጹም አያቆያትም ፡ ፡ አላህም በምትሠሩት ሁሉ ውስጠ ዐዋቂ ነው ፡ ፡

and when he had opened the fourth seal, i heard the voice of the fourth beast say, come and see.
አራተኛውንም ማኅተም በፈታ ጊዜ የአራተኛው እንስሳ ድምፅ። መጥተህ እይ ሲል ሰማሁ።

and thy lord comes , and the angels rank on rank ,
መላእክትም ሰልፍ ሰልፍ ኾነው ጌታህ ( ትዕዛዙ ) በመጣ ጊዜ ፤

and allah deferreth not a soul when its term- hath come ; and allah is aware of that which ye do .
ማንኛይቱም ነፍስ የሞት ጊዜዋ በመጣበት ጊዜ አላህ በፍጹም አያቆያትም ፡ ፡ አላህም በምትሠሩት ሁሉ ውስጠ ዐዋቂ ነው ፡ ፡

say , " truth has come and falsehood has disappeared . falsehood is always bound to wither away . "
በልም « እውነት መጣ ውሸትም ተወገደ ፤ እነሆ ውሸት ተወጋጅ ነውና ፡ ፡ »

and god gave them the reward of this world and the fairest reward of the world to come ; and god loves the good-doers .
አላህም የቅርቢቱን ምንዳና የመጨረሻይቱን መልካም ምንዳ ሰጣቸው ፡ ፡ አላህም በጎ አድራጊዎችን ይወዳል ፡ ፡
