then will you not be reminded ?
አትገነዘቡምን ?

and heed not when they are reminded ,
በተገሠጹም ጊዜ አይመለሱም ፡ ፡

and , when reminded , do not remember
በተገሠጹም ጊዜ አይመለሱም ፡ ፡

and when reminded , they pay no attention .
በተገሠጹም ጊዜ አይመለሱም ፡ ፡

they pay no attention when they are reminded
በተገሠጹም ጊዜ አይመለሱም ፡ ፡

and when they are reminded , they remember not .
በተገሠጹም ጊዜ አይመለሱም ፡ ፡

and when they are reminded , they pay no attention .
በተገሠጹም ጊዜ አይመለሱም ፡ ፡

he who fears [ allah ] will be reminded .
( አላህን ) የሚፈራ ሰው በእርግጥ ይገሠጻል ፡ ፡

or be reminded , and the message would benefit him .
ወይም ሊገሠጽ ግሠጼይቱም ልትጠቅመው ( ይከጀላል ) ፡ ፡

or become reminded so that the reminder should profit him ?
ወይም ሊገሠጽ ግሠጼይቱም ልትጠቅመው ( ይከጀላል ) ፡ ፡

but how can they be reminded ? an enlightening messenger has already come to them .
( ቅጣቱ በወረደ ጊዜ ) ለእነርሱ መግገሰጽ እንዴት ይኖራቸዋል ? አስረጅ መልክተኛ የመጣቸው ሲኾን ( የካዱም ሲኾኑ ) ፡ ፡

they said , " your omen is with yourselves . is it because you were reminded ?
« ገደ ቢስነታችሁ ከእናንተው ጋር ነው ፡ ፡ ብትገሰጹ ( ትዝታላችሁን ? ) በእውነቱ እናንተ ወሰን አላፊዎች ሕዝቦች ናችሁ » አሏቸው ፡ ፡

then is he who creates like one who does not create ? so will you not be reminded ?
የሚፈጥር እንደማይፈጥር ነውን አትገሰጹምን

and indeed , we have eased the qur 'an in your tongue that they might be reminded .
( ቁርኣኑን ) በቋንቋህም ያገራነው ( ሕዝቦችህ ) ይገነዘቡ ዘንድ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡

and they who , when reminded of the communications of their lord , do not fall down thereat deaf and blind .
እነዚያም በጌታቸው አንቀጾች በተገሰጹ ጊዜ ( የተረዱ ተቀባዮች ኾነው እንጂ ) ደንቆሮዎችና ዕውሮች ኾነው በእርሷ ላይ የማይደፉት ናቸው ፡ ፡

and those who , when they are reminded of the signs of their lord , do not fall deaf and blind upon them .
እነዚያም በጌታቸው አንቀጾች በተገሰጹ ጊዜ ( የተረዱ ተቀባዮች ኾነው እንጂ ) ደንቆሮዎችና ዕውሮች ኾነው በእርሷ ላይ የማይደፉት ናቸው ፡ ፡

and speak to him with gentle speech that perhaps he may be reminded or fear [ allah ] . "
« እርሱም ይገሰጽ ወይም ይፈራ ዘንድ ፤ ለእርሱ ልዝብን ቃል ተናገሩት ፡ ፡ »

and o my people , who would protect me from allah if i drove them away ? then will you not be reminded ?
« ሕዝቦቼም ሆይ ባባርራቸው ከአላህ ( ቅጣት ) የሚያድነኝ ማን ነው አትገሰጹምን »

and who is more wicked than he who , when reminded of the verses of his lord turns away from them ? we take revenge on the sinners .
በጌታውም አንቀጾች ከተገሰጸና ከዚያም ከተዋት ሰው ይበልጥ በደለኛ ማነው ? ( የለም ) ፤ እኛ ከተንኮለኞቹ ተበቃዮች ነን ፡ ፡

and we gave moses the scripture , after we had destroyed the former generations , as enlightenment for the people and guidance and mercy that they might be reminded .
የፊተኞቹን የክፍለ ዘመናት ሕዝቦችም ከአጠፋን በኋላ ለሰዎች የልብ ብርሃን መሪም እዝነትም ሲኾን ይገሰጹ ዘንድ ለሙሳ መጽሐፉን በእርግጥ ሰጠነው ፡ ፡
