በዚህ ንግግር እናንተ ቸልተኞች ናችሁን ?

in scorn thereof . nightly did ye rave together .
በእርሱ ( በክልሉ ቤት ) ኩሩዎች ሌሊት ተጫዋቾች ( ቁርኣንንም ) የምትተው ኾናችሁ ( ትመለሱ ነበራችሁ ይባላሉ ) ፡ ፡

no wonder you are surprised as they laugh with scorn .
ይልቁንም ( በማስተባበላቸው ) ተደነቅህ ፤ ( ከመደነቅህ ) ይሳለቃሉም ፡ ፡

and they laughed him to scorn, knowing that she was dead.
እንደ ሞተችም አውቀው በጣም ሳቁበት።

turn not thy cheek in scorn toward folk , nor walk with pertness in the land . lo !
« ጉንጭህንም ( በኩራት ) ከሰዎች አታዙር ፡ ፡ በምድርም ላይ ተንበጥርረህ አትሂድ ፡ ፡ አላህ ተንበጥራሪን ጉረኛን ሁሉ አይወድምና ፡ ፡

but those who deny and scorn our revelations shall be the inmates of hell , where they shall remain forever .
እነዚያም በአንቀጾቻችን ያስተባበሉ ከእርሷም የኮሩ እነዚያ የእሳት ጓዶች ናቸው ፡ ፡ እነሱ በርሷ ውስጥ ዘውታሪዎች ናቸው ፡ ፡

but they who deny our revelations and scorn them - each are rightful owners of the fire ; they will abide therein .
እነዚያም በአንቀጾቻችን ያስተባበሉ ከእርሷም የኮሩ እነዚያ የእሳት ጓዶች ናቸው ፡ ፡ እነሱ በርሷ ውስጥ ዘውታሪዎች ናቸው ፡ ፡

turn not thy cheek away from men in scorn , and walk not in the earth exultantly ; god loves not any man proud and boastful .
« ጉንጭህንም ( በኩራት ) ከሰዎች አታዙር ፡ ፡ በምድርም ላይ ተንበጥርረህ አትሂድ ፡ ፡ አላህ ተንበጥራሪን ጉረኛን ሁሉ አይወድምና ፡ ፡

do not turn your cheek in scorn away from people , nor walk proudly on the earth ; allah does not love the proud and the boastful .
« ጉንጭህንም ( በኩራት ) ከሰዎች አታዙር ፡ ፡ በምድርም ላይ ተንበጥርረህ አትሂድ ፡ ፡ አላህ ተንበጥራሪን ጉረኛን ሁሉ አይወድምና ፡ ፡

was it that we ( only ) took them in scorn , or have our eyes ( now ) turned aside from them ?
« መቀለጃ አድርገን ያዝናቸውን ? ወይስ ዓይኖቻችን ከእነሱ ዋለሉ ? »

she floats under our eyes ( and care ) : a recompense to one who had been rejected ( with scorn ) !
በጥበቃችን ስር ኾና ትንሻለላለች ፡ ፡ ተክዶ ለነበረው ሰው ምንዳ ( ይህንን ሠራን ) ፡ ፡

and your lord hath said : pray unto me and i will hear your prayer . lo ! those who scorn my service , they will enter hell , disgraced .
ጌታችሁም አለ « ለምኑኝ ፤ እቀበላችኋለሁና ፡ ፡ እነዚያ እኔን ከመግገዛት የሚኮሩት ተዋራጆች ኾነው ገሀነምን በእርግጥ ይገባሉ ፡ ፡

lest a soul should say : o woe to me ! for what i fell short of my duty to allah , and most surely i was of those who laughed to scorn ;
( የካደች ) ነፍስ « እኔ ከሚሳለቁት የነበርኩ ስኾን በአላህ በኩል ባጓደልኩት ዋ ጸጸቴ » ማለቷን ( ለመፍራት ) ፤

i am an angel ! " nor say i unto those whom your eyes scorn that allah will not give them good - allah knoweth best what is in their hearts - lo ! then indeed i should be of the wrong-doers .
« ለእናንተም እኔ ዘንድ የአላህ ግምጃ ቤቶች አልሉ ሩቅንም ዐውቃለሁ አልላችሁም ፡ ፡ እኔም መልአክ ነኝ አልላችሁም ፡ ፡ ለእነዚያም ዓይኖቻችሁ ለሚያዋርዷቸው አላህ ደግ ነገርን ( እምነትን ) አይሰጣቸውም አልልም ፡ ፡ አላህ በነፍሶቻቸው ውስጥ ያለውን ነገር አዋቂ ነው ፡ ፡ እኔ ያን ጊዜ ከበደለኞች እሆናለሁና » ( አላቸው ) ፡ ፡
