ትክዱ በነበራችሁት ምክንያት ዛሬ ግቧት ( ይባላሉ ) ፡ ፡

is it you that send it down from the clouds or we ?
እናንተ ከደመናው አወረዳችሁትን ? ወይስ እኛ አውራጆቹ ነን ?

did you send it down from the clouds , or did we send it ?
እናንተ ከደመናው አወረዳችሁትን ? ወይስ እኛ አውራጆቹ ነን ?

send it down ye from the raincloud , or are we the sender down ?
እናንተ ከደመናው አወረዳችሁትን ? ወይስ እኛ አውራጆቹ ነን ?

is it you that send it down from the clouds , or are we the senders ?
እናንተ ከደመናው አወረዳችሁትን ? ወይስ እኛ አውራጆቹ ነን ?

therefore taste it now – we shall not increase anything for you except the punishment .
ቅመሱም ቅጣትንም እንጅ ( ሌላን ) አንጨምራችሁም ( ይባላሉ ) ፡ ፡

you used to wish for death before you have faced it . now you have seen it before your own eyes .
( በጦርነት ላይ ) መሞትንም ሳታገኙት በፊት በርግጥ የምትመኙት ነበራችሁ ፡ ፡ እናንተም የምትመለከቱ ስትኾኑ በርግጥ አያችሁት ( ታዲያ ለምን ሸሻችሁ )

there is not a thing but with us are its stores , and we send it down only in precise measure .
መካዚኖቹም ( መክፈቻቸው ) እኛ ዘንድ ያልሆነ ምንም ነገር የለም ፡ ፡ በተወሰነም ልክ እንጂ አናወርደውም ፡ ፡

and there is not a thing but with us are the stores thereof . and we send it not down save in appointed measure .
መካዚኖቹም ( መክፈቻቸው ) እኛ ዘንድ ያልሆነ ምንም ነገር የለም ፡ ፡ በተወሰነም ልክ እንጂ አናወርደውም ፡ ፡

and assuredly ye were wont to long for death ere ye had met it . now ye are beholding it even while ye are looking on .
( በጦርነት ላይ ) መሞትንም ሳታገኙት በፊት በርግጥ የምትመኙት ነበራችሁ ፡ ፡ እናንተም የምትመለከቱ ስትኾኑ በርግጥ አያችሁት ( ታዲያ ለምን ሸሻችሁ )

and there is not a thing , but with us are the stores thereof . and we send it not down except in a known measure .
መካዚኖቹም ( መክፈቻቸው ) እኛ ዘንድ ያልሆነ ምንም ነገር የለም ፡ ፡ በተወሰነም ልክ እንጂ አናወርደውም ፡ ፡

but allah was not going to send them a penalty whilst thou wast amongst them ; nor was he going to send it whilst they could ask for pardon .
አላህም አንተ በውስጣቸው እያለህ ( ድንጋይ በማዝነብና ባሳማሚ ቅጣት ) የሚቀጣቸው አይደለም ፡ ፡ አላህም እነሱ ምህረትን የሚለምኑ ሲኾኑ የሚቀጣቸው አይደለም ፡ ፡

what , when it has come to pass , will you then believe in it ? now , when already you seek to hasten it ! '
« ከዚያም ( ቅጣቱ ) በወደቀ ጊዜ በእርሱ አመናችሁበትን በእርግጥ በእርሱ የምትቻኮሉ የነበራችሁ ስትሆኑ አሁን » ( ይባላሉ ) ፡ ፡

those are the ones to whom we gave the book , and judgement and prophethood . and if they refuse to believe in it now , we will bestow this favour on a people who do believe in it .
እነዚህ እነዚያ መጻሕፍትንና ጥበብን ፣ ነቢይነትንም የሰጠናቸው ናቸው ፡ ፡ እነዚህ ( የመካ ከሓዲዎች ) በእርሷ ቢክዱም በእርሷ የማይክዱን ሕዝቦች ለእርሷ በእርግጥ አዘጋጅተናል ፡ ፡

allah said : verily i am going to send it down to you , but whosoever of you disbelieveth thereafter , verily shall torment him with a torment wherewith i shall not torment any other of the worlds .
አላህ ፡ - « እኔ ( ማእድዋን ) በናንተ ላይ አውራጅዋ ነኝ ፡ ፡ በኋላም ከእናንተ የሚክድ ሰው እኔ ከዓለማት አንድንም የማልቀጣውን ቅጣት እቀጣዋለሁ » አለ ፡ ፡

they will say , ‘ we believe in it [ now ] ! ’ but how can they attain it from a far-off place ,
« በእርሱም ( አሁን ) አመንን » ይላሉ ፡ ፡ ለእነርሱም ከሩቅ ስፍራ ( እምነትን ) በቀላል ማግኘት ከየታቸው ?

allah said : surely i will send it down to you , but whoever shall disbelieve afterwards from among you , surely i will chastise him with a chastisement with which i will not chastise , anyone among the nations .
አላህ ፡ - « እኔ ( ማእድዋን ) በናንተ ላይ አውራጅዋ ነኝ ፡ ፡ በኋላም ከእናንተ የሚክድ ሰው እኔ ከዓለማት አንድንም የማልቀጣውን ቅጣት እቀጣዋለሁ » አለ ፡ ፡

allah said , ‘ i will indeed send it down to you . but should any of you disbelieve after this , i will indeed punish him with a punishment such as i do not punish anyone in all creation . ’
አላህ ፡ - « እኔ ( ማእድዋን ) በናንተ ላይ አውራጅዋ ነኝ ፡ ፡ በኋላም ከእናንተ የሚክድ ሰው እኔ ከዓለማት አንድንም የማልቀጣውን ቅጣት እቀጣዋለሁ » አለ ፡ ፡
