በቀሚሱም ላይ የውሸትን ደም አመጡ ፡ ፡ ( አባታቸው ) « አይደለም ፤ ነፍሶቻችሁ ( ውሸት ) ነገርን ለእናንተ ሸለሙላችሁ ፡ ፡ ስለዚህ መልካም ትዕግስት ( ማድረግ አለብኝ ) በምትሉትም ነገር ላይ መታገዣው አላህ ብቻ ነው » አለ ፡ ፡

and all wept, and bewailed her: but he said, weep not; she is not dead, but sleepeth.
ሁሉም እያለቀሱላት ዋይ ዋይ ይሉ ነበር። እርሱ ግን። አታልቅሱ፤ ተኝታለች እንጂ አልሞተችም አለ።

በለስም በብርቱ ነፋስ ተናውጣ ቃርያዋን ፍሬ እንደምትጥል የሰማይ ከዋክብት ወደ ምድር ወደቁ፥

he said , ‘ disguise her throne for her , so that we may see whether she is discerning or if she is one of the undiscerning ones . ’
« ዙፋንዋን ለእርሷ አሳስቱ ፡ ፡ ታውቀው እንደኾነ ወይም ከእነዚያ ከማያወቁት ትኾን እንደሆነ ፤ እናያለን ፤ » አላቸው ፡ ፡

he said , ' disguise her throne for her , and we shall behold whether she is guided or if she is of those that are not guided . '
« ዙፋንዋን ለእርሷ አሳስቱ ፡ ፡ ታውቀው እንደኾነ ወይም ከእነዚያ ከማያወቁት ትኾን እንደሆነ ፤ እናያለን ፤ » አላቸው ፡ ፡

they said : call on your lord for our sake to make it plain to us what she is , for surely to us the cows are all alike , and if allah please we shall surely be guided aright .
« ለኛ ጌታህን ጠይቅልን ፤ እርሷ ምን እንደኾነች ይግለጽልን ፤ ከብቶች በኛ ላይ ተመሳሰሉብን ፡ ፡ እኛም አላህ የሻ እንደኾነ በእርግጥ ተመሪዎች ነን » አሉ ፡ ፡

they answered : " we know who is there . we are to save him and his family except his wife , for she is one of those who will stay behind . "
« በእርሷ ውስጥ ሉጥ አለ እኮ » አላቸው ፡ ፡ « እኛ በውስጧ ያለውን ይበልጥ ዐዋቂ ነን ፡ ፡ ( እርሱን ) በእርግጥ እናድነዋለን ፡ ፡ ቤተሰቦቹንም ጭምር ፡ ፡ ሚስቱ ብቻ ስትቀር ፡ ፡ እርሷ በጥፋቱ ውስጥ ከሚቀሩት ናት » አሉት ፡ ፡

and whoever does good deeds whether male or female and he ( or she ) is a believer-- these shall enter the garden , and they shall not be dealt with a jot unjustly .
ከወንድ ወይም ከሴት እርሱ አማኝ ኾኖ ከበጎ ሥራዎች አንዳችን የሚሠራም ሰው እነዚያ ገነትን ይገባሉ ፡ ፡ በተምር ፍሬ ላይ ያለችን ነጥብ ያክል እንኳ አይበደሉም ፡ ፡

' call on your lord ' they said , ' to make known to us what she shall be ' he said : " he says she is a cow neither old , nor virgin , middling between both . " therefore , do as you have been ordered '
« ለኛ ጌታህን ጠይቅልን ፤ እርሷ ምን እንደኾነች ( ዕድሜዋን ) ያብራራልን » አሉ ፡ ፡ « እርሱ እርሷ ያላረጀች ጥጃም ያልኾነች በዚህ መካከል ልከኛ የኾነች ጊደር ናት ይላችኋል ፤ የታዘዛችሁትንም ሥሩ » አላቸው ፡ ፡
