Results for should we date translation from English to Amharic

tell me , should we let them enjoy for some years ,
አየህን ብዙ ዓመታትን ብናጣቅማቸው ፤

should we treat the true believers and the wrongdoers alike ?
ሙስሊሞቹን እንደ ከሓዲዎች እናደርጋለን ?

and said , " should we give up our idols for the sake of an insane poet " .
እኛ ለዕብድ ባለቅኔ ብለን አማልክቶቻችንን የምንተው ነን ? ይሉም ነበር ፡ ፡

should we divert this good counsel from you because you are a people immersed in extravagance ?
ድንበር አላፊዎች ሕዝቦች ለመኾናችሁ ቁርኣኑን ከእናንተ ማገድን እናግዳለን ?

they said , " should we believe in you when no one has followed you except the lowest ones " .
( እነርሱም ) « ወራዶቹ የተከተሉህ ኾነህ ለአንተ እናምናለን » አሉት ፡ ፡

but she pointed to him . they said : how should we speak to one who was a child in the cradle ?
ወደርሱም ጠቀሰች ፡ ፡ « በአንቀልባ ያለን ሕጻን እንዴት እናናግራለን ! » አሉ ፡ ፡

and said : " should we believe in two men like yourselves , whose people are our subjects ? "
« ብጤያችንም ለኾኑ ሁለት ሰዎች ሕዝቦቻቸው ለእኛ ተገዢዎች ኾነው ሳሉ እናምናለን » አሉ ፡ ፡

how should we not put our trust in allah when he hath shown us our ways ? we surely will endure the hurt ye do us .
« መንገዳችንንም በእርግጥ የመራን ሲኾን በአላህ ላይ የማንመካ ለእኛ ምን አለን በማሰቃየታችሁም ላይ በእርግጥ እንታገሳለን ፡ ፡ በአላህም ላይ ተመኪዎች ሁሉ ይመኩ ፡ ፡ »

and said : " should we follow only one man among us ? in that case we shall he in error and insane .
« ከእኛ የኾነን አንድን ሰው እንከተለዋለን ? እኛ ያን ጊዜ በስህተትና በዕብደት ውስጥ ነን » አሉ ፡ ፡

and why should we not put our trust in allah , when he has already guided us to our paths ? we will endure your hurt patiently .
« መንገዳችንንም በእርግጥ የመራን ሲኾን በአላህ ላይ የማንመካ ለእኛ ምን አለን በማሰቃየታችሁም ላይ በእርግጥ እንታገሳለን ፡ ፡ በአላህም ላይ ተመኪዎች ሁሉ ይመኩ ፡ ፡ »

they said , " should we believe you while you are followed by the lowest [ class of people ] ? "
( እነርሱም ) « ወራዶቹ የተከተሉህ ኾነህ ለአንተ እናምናለን » አሉት ፡ ፡

and why should we not believe in allah and the truth which has come down to us when we do fervently desire that our lord include us among the righteous ? '
« በአላህና ከውነትም በመጣልን ነገር የማናምን ጌታችንም ከመልካም ሰዎች ጋር ሊያስገባን የማንከጅል ለኛ ምን አለን » ( ይላሉ ) ፡ ፡

and why should we not put our trust in allah when it is indeed he who has guided us to the ways of our life ? we shall surely continue to remain steadfast in face of your persecution .
« መንገዳችንንም በእርግጥ የመራን ሲኾን በአላህ ላይ የማንመካ ለእኛ ምን አለን በማሰቃየታችሁም ላይ በእርግጥ እንታገሳለን ፡ ፡ በአላህም ላይ ተመኪዎች ሁሉ ይመኩ ፡ ፡ »

and wherefore should we not rely on allah when he hath surely guided us our ways ! and surely we shall bear patiently that with which ye afflict us and in allah then let the trustful put their trust .
« መንገዳችንንም በእርግጥ የመራን ሲኾን በአላህ ላይ የማንመካ ለእኛ ምን አለን በማሰቃየታችሁም ላይ በእርግጥ እንታገሳለን ፡ ፡ በአላህም ላይ ተመኪዎች ሁሉ ይመኩ ፡ ፡ »

and we made firm their hearts when they stood forth and said : our lord is the lord of the heavens and the earth . we cry unto no allah beside him , for then should we utter an enormity .
( በንጉሣቸው ፊት ) በቆሙና « ጌታችን የሰማያትና የምድር ጌታ ነው ፡ ፡ ከእርሱ ሌላ አምላክን አንገዛም ፡ ፡ ያን ጊዜ ( ሌላን ብናመልክ ) ወሰን ያለፈን ( ንግግር ) በእርግጥ ተናገርን ፡ ፡ » ባሉ ጊዜ ልቦቻቸውን አጠነከርን ፡ ፡

how should we not believe in allah and that which hath come unto us of the truth . and ( how should we not ) hope that our lord will bring us in along with righteous folk ?
« በአላህና ከውነትም በመጣልን ነገር የማናምን ጌታችንም ከመልካም ሰዎች ጋር ሊያስገባን የማንከጅል ለኛ ምን አለን » ( ይላሉ ) ፡ ፡

those who , should we establish them in the land , will keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate and enjoin good and forbid evil ; and allah 's is the end of affairs .
( እነርሱም ) እነዚያ በምድር ላይ ብናስመቻቸው ሶላትን እንደሚገባ የሚያስተካክሉ ፣ ዘካንም የሚሰጡ ፣ በደግ ነገርም የሚያዝዙ ፣ ከመጥፎ ነገርም የሚከለክሉ ናቸው ፡ ፡ የነገሮቹም ሁሉ መጨረሻ ወደ አላህ ነው ፡ ፡

and why should we not believe in allah and what has come to us of the truth ? and we aspire that our lord will admit us [ to paradise ] with the righteous people . "
« በአላህና ከውነትም በመጣልን ነገር የማናምን ጌታችንም ከመልካም ሰዎች ጋር ሊያስገባን የማንከጅል ለኛ ምን አለን » ( ይላሉ ) ፡ ፡

when they are told to prostrate themselves before the beneficent god , they say , " who is the beneficent god ? why should we prostrate ourselves before the one whom you have commanded us to ? "
ለእነርሱም ለአልረሕማን ስገዱ በተባሉ ጊዜ አልረሕማን ማነው ለምታዘን ( እና ለማናውቀው ) እንሰግዳለን ይላሉ ፡ ፡ ( ይህ ) መራቅንም ጨመራቸው ፡ ፡

and they say : " when we are bones and fragments ( destroyed ) , should we really be resurrected ( to be ) a new creation ? "
አሉም « እንዴት አጥንቶችና ብስብሶች በኾን ጊዜ እኛ አዲስ ፍጥረት ኾነን በእርግጥ ተቀስቃሾች ነን »
