አንተም በታላቅ ጠባይ ላይ ነህ ፡ ፡

then said the lord to him, put off thy shoes from thy feet: for the place where thou standest is holy ground.
ጌታም። የቆምህባት ስፍራ የተቀደሰች ምድር ናትና የእግርህን ጫማ አውልቅ።

well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. be not highminded, but fear:
መልካም፤ እነርሱ ከአለማመን የተነሣ ተሰበሩ አንተም ከእምነት የተነሣ ቆመሃል። ፍራ እንጂ የትዕቢትን ነገር አታስብ።

ለጌታህ ፍርድም ታገሥ ፡ ፡ አንተ በጥበቃችን ውስጥ ነህና ፡ ፡ ጌታህንም በምትነሳ ጊዜ ከማመስገን ጋር አወድሰው ፡ ፡

and of the people of the book is he who , if thou trust him with a hundredweight , will restore it thee ; and of them is he who , if thou trust him with one pound , will not restore it thee , unless ever thou standest over him . that , because they say , ' there is no way over us as to the common people . '
ከመጽሐፉ ሰዎችም በብዙ ገንዘብ ብታምነው ወዳንተ የሚመልስ ሰው አልለ ፡ ፡ ከእነሱም በአንድ ዲናር እንኳ ብታምነው ፤ ሁል ጊዜ በርሱ ላይ የምትጠባበቅ ካልኾንክ በስተቀር የማይመልስ ሰው አልለ ፡ ፡ « ይህ በመሃይምናን ( በምናደርገው ) በእኛ ላይ ምንም መንገድ የለብንም » ስለሚሉ ነው ፡ ፡ እነርሱ እያወቁም በአላህ ላይ ውሸትን ይናገራሉ ፡ ፡
