submitted nooh , “ my lord ! help me as they deny me . ”
( ኑሕም ) « ጌታዬ ሆይ ! ባስተባበሉኝ ምክንያት እርዳኝ » አለ ፡ ፡

and when they had both submitted and he put him down upon his forehead ,
ሁለቱም ትዕዛዙን በተቀበሉና በግንባሩም ጎን ላይ በጣለው ጊዜ ( የሆነው ሆነ ) ፡ ፡

those who have faith in our revelations and have submitted themselves to our will ,
እነዚያ በአንቀጾቻችን ያመኑና ፍጹም ታዛዦች የነበሩ ( ባሮቼ ሆይ ! )

and when they had both submitted , and his son had laid down prostrate upon his forehead ,
ሁለቱም ትዕዛዙን በተቀበሉና በግንባሩም ጎን ላይ በጣለው ጊዜ ( የሆነው ሆነ ) ፡ ፡

he submitted , “ my lord ! help me against these mischievous people . ”
« ጌታዬ ሆይ ! በአመጸኞች ሕዝቦች ላይ እርዳኝ » አለ ፡ ፡

for ( those of ) you on that day who believed in my revelations and submitted .
እነዚያ በአንቀጾቻችን ያመኑና ፍጹም ታዛዦች የነበሩ ( ባሮቼ ሆይ ! )

the unbelievers would haply like to wish that they had submitted ( and become muslim ) .
እነዚያ የካዱት ( በትንሣኤ ቀን ) ሙስሊሞች በኾኑ ኖሩ በብዛት ይመኛሉ ፡ ፡

abraham was not a jew or a christian . he was an upright person who had submitted himself to the will of god .
ኢብራሂም ይሁዳዊም ክርስቲያንም አልነበረም ፡ ፡ ግን ወደ ቀጥተኛው ሃይማኖት የተዘነበለ ሙስሊም ነበረ ፡ ፡ ከአጋሪዎችም አልነበረም ፡ ፡

( ሙሳ ) አለ « ጌታዬ ሆይ ! እኔ ከእነርሱ ነፍስን ገድያለሁ ፡ ፡ ስለዚህ እንዳይገድሉኝ እፈራለሁ ፡ ፡

believers , have fear of god as you should and die only as muslims ( having submitted to the will of god ) .
እናንተ ያመናችሁ ሆይ ! አላህን ተገቢውን መጠንቀቅ ተጠንቀቁት ፡ ፡ እናንተም ሙስሊሞች ኾናችሁ እንጅ አትሙቱ ፡ ፡

but we did not find therein save a ( single ) house of those who submitted ( the muslims ) .
በውስጧም ከሙስሊሞች ከአንድ ቤት ( ቤተሰቦች ) በስተቀር አላገኘንም ፡ ፡

he will never enjoin you to take the angels or prophets for your lords . will he enjoin upon you unbelief when you have submitted yourselves to allah ?
መላእክትንና ነቢያትንም አማልክቶች አድርጋችሁ እንድትይዙ ሊያዛችሁ ( አይገባውም ) ፡ ፡ እናንተ ሙስሊሞች ከኾናችሁ በኋላ በክህደት ያዛችኋልን

a prophet would never order you to take the angels and the prophets as your lords . would he order you to disbelieve after you have submitted yourselves to god ?
መላእክትንና ነቢያትንም አማልክቶች አድርጋችሁ እንድትይዙ ሊያዛችሁ ( አይገባውም ) ፡ ፡ እናንተ ሙስሊሞች ከኾናችሁ በኋላ በክህደት ያዛችኋልን

moses said , “ o my people , if you have believed in god , then put your trust in him , if you have submitted . ”
ሙሳም አለ ፡ - « ሕዝቦቼ ሆይ ! በአላህ አምናችሁ እንደ ሆነ በርሱ ላይ ተጠጉ ፡ ፡ ታዛዦች እንደ ሆናችሁ ( በአላህ ላይ ትመካላችሁ ) ፡ ፡ »

do they desire other than the religion of god , when to him has submitted everything in the heavens and the earth , willingly or unwillingly , and to him they will be returned ?
በሰማያትና በምድር ያሉ ሁሉ ፤ በውድም በግድም ለርሱ የታዘዙ ወደርሱም የሚመለሱ ሲኾኑ ( ከሓዲዎች ) ከአላህ ሃይማኖት ሌላን ይፈልጋሉን

and abraham exhorted his sons , and jacob , “ o my sons , god has chosen this religion for you , so do not die unless you have submitted . ”
በርሷም ( በሕግጋቲቱ ) ኢብራሂም ልጆቹን አዘዘ ፡ ፡ ያዕቁብም ( እንደዚሁ ልጆቹን አዘዘ ) ፡ ፡ « ልጆቼ ሆይ ! አላህ ለናንተ ሃይማኖትን መረጠ ፤ ስለዚህ እናንተ ሙስሊሞች ኾናችሁ እንጂ አትሙቱ » ( አላቸው ) ፡ ፡

he submitted , “ my lord ! forgive me and my brother and admit us into your mercy ; and you are the most merciful of all those who show mercy . ”
( ሙሳም ) ፡ - « ጌታዬ ሆይ ! ለእኔም ለወንድሜም ማር ፡ ፡ በእዝነትህም ውስጥ አግባን ፡ ፡ አንተም ከአዛኞች ሁሉ ይበልጥ አዛኝ ነህ » አለ ፡ ፡

' and of us some are muslims ( who have submitted to allah , after listening to this quran ) , and of us some are al-qasitun ( disbelievers those who have deviated from the right path ) ' . and whosoever has embraced islam ( i.e. has become a muslim by submitting to allah ) , then such have sought the right path . "
