have they not seen that we have created the night for them to rest and the day for them to see . in this there is evidence for the believing people .
እኛ ሌሊትን በእርሱ ውስጥ እንዲያርፉበት ቀንንም የሚያሳይ እንዳደረግን አያዩምን ለሚያምኑ ሕዝቦች በዚህ ውስጥ ተዓምራቶች አሉበት ፡ ፡

then , surely , it is for us to call them to account .
ከዚያም ምርመራቸው በእኛ ላይ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡

as for those who believe and do good , they will receive virtuous rewards and we will tell them to do only what they can .
« ያመነም ሰውማ መልካምንም ሥራ የሠራ ለእርሱ ከምንዳ በኩል መልካሚቱ ( ገነት ) አለችው ፡ ፡ ለእርሱም ከትእዛዛችን ገርን ነገር እናዘዋለን » ( አለ ) ፡ ፡

advise me in ( this ) case of mine . i decide no case till you are present with me . "
« እናንተ መማክርቶች ሆይ ! በነገሬ ( የሚበጀውን ) ንገሩኝ ፡ ፡ እስከምትገኙልኝ ድረስ አንድንም ነገር ቆራጭ አይደለሁምና » አለች ፡ ፡

did they not see that we created the night for them to rest in , and created the day providing sight ? indeed in this are signs for the people who have faith .
እኛ ሌሊትን በእርሱ ውስጥ እንዲያርፉበት ቀንንም የሚያሳይ እንዳደረግን አያዩምን ለሚያምኑ ሕዝቦች በዚህ ውስጥ ተዓምራቶች አሉበት ፡ ፡

( muhammad ) , tell them to consider that which is in the heavens and the earth . evidence and warnings are of no avail to the disbelieving people .
« በሰማያትና በምድር ያለውን ( ተዓምር ) ተመልከቱ » በላቸው ፡ ፡ ተዓምራቶችና አስፈራሪዎችም ለማያምኑ ሕዝቦች አይጠቅሙም ፡ ፡

( muhammad ) , they will ask you about the mountains . tell them , " my lord will grind them to powder
ከጋራዎችም ይጠይቁሃል ፤ በላቸው « ጌታዬ መበተንን ይበትናቸዋል ፡ ፡

no doubt that what you call me to has no title to be called to in this world , nor in the hereafter , and that our turning back is to allah , and that the extravagant are the inmates of the fire ;
« በእርግጥ ወደእርሱ የምትጠሩብኝ ( ጣዖት ) ለእርሱ በቅርቢቱም ኾነ በመጨረሻይቱ ዓለም ( ተሰሚ ) ጥሪ የለውም ፡ ፡ መመለሻችንም በእርግጥ ወደ አላህ ነው ፡ ፡ ወሰን አላፊዎቹም እነሱ የእሳት ጓዶች ናቸው ፡ ፡

tell them ( o prophet ) : “ o you servants of mine who believe , have fear of your lord . a good end awaits those who did good in this world .
( ጌታችሁ ) « እናንተ ያመናችሁ ባሮቼ ሆይ ! ጌታችሁን ፍሩ ፡ ፡ ለነዚያ በዚህች በቅርቢቱ ዓለም መልካም ለሠሩት መልካም ምንዳ አላቸው ፡ ፡ የአላህ ምድርም ሰፊ ናት ፤ ( ብትቸገሩ ተሰደዱ ) ፡ ፡ ታጋሾቹ ምንዳቸውን የሚሰጡት ያለግምት ነው » ( ይላል ) በላቸው ፡ ፡

" and o my people ! how ( strange ) it is for me to call you to salvation while ye call me to the fire !
« ወገኖቼም ሆይ ! ወደ መዳን የምጠራችሁ ስኾን ወደ እሳትም የምትጠሩኝ ስትኾኑ ለኔ ምን አለኝ !

( muhammad ) , tell them , " to be happy with the favors and mercy of god is better than whatever you accumulate " .
« በአላህ ችሮታና በእዝነቱ ( ይደሰቱ ) ፡ ፡ በዚህም ምክንያት ይደሰቱ ፡ ፡ እርሱ ከሚሰበስቡት ሀብት በላጭ ነው » በላቸው ፡ ፡

god would never give the book , authority , or prophesy to any person who would tell others to be his servants instead of being the servants of god . he would rather tell them to worship god for they had been teaching and studying the book .
ለማንም ሰው አላህ መጽሐፍንና ጥበብን ነቢይነትንም ሊሰጠውና ከዚያም ለሰዎች « ከአላህ ሌላ ለእኔ ባሮች ኾኑ » ሊል አይገባውም ፡ ፡ « ግን መጽሐፍን የምታስተምሩ በነበራችሁትና የምታጠኑም በነበራችሁት በዕውቀታችሁ ሠሪዎች ኹኑ » ( ይላቸዋል ) ፡ ፡

" without doubt ye do call me to one who is not fit to be called to , whether in this world , or in the hereafter ; our return will be to allah ; and the transgressors will be companions of the fire !
« በእርግጥ ወደእርሱ የምትጠሩብኝ ( ጣዖት ) ለእርሱ በቅርቢቱም ኾነ በመጨረሻይቱ ዓለም ( ተሰሚ ) ጥሪ የለውም ፡ ፡ መመለሻችንም በእርግጥ ወደ አላህ ነው ፡ ፡ ወሰን አላፊዎቹም እነሱ የእሳት ጓዶች ናቸው ፡ ፡

" bring out thy people from the depths of darkness into light , and teach them to remember the days of allah . " verily in this there are signs for such as are firmly patient and constant , - grateful and appreciative .
ሙሳንም ወገኖችህን ከጨለማዎች ወደ ብርሃን አውጣ አላህንም ቀኖች አስገንዝባቸው በማለት በተዓምራታችን በእርግጥ ላክነው ፡ ፡ በዚህ ውስጥ በብዙ ታጋሽና በብዙ አመስጋኝ ለኾኑት ሁሉ በእርግጥ ተዓምራቶች አሉ ፡ ፡

god certainly has heard the words of those who said , " god is poor and we are wealthy " . we shall write down what they have said and their murder of the prophets without reason and we shall tell them to suffer the burning torment .
የእነዚያን « አላህ ድኻ ነው እኛ ግን ከበርቴዎች ነን » ያሉትን ሰዎች ቃል አላህ በእርግጥ ሰማ ፡ ፡ ያንን ያሉትንና ነቢያትን ያለ ሕግ መግደላቸውን በእርግጥ እንጽፋለን ፡ ፡ « የእሳትንም ስቃይ ቅመሱ » እንላቸዋለን ፡ ፡
