ይህ እርሱ በእውነት ግልጽ ፈተና ነው ፡ ፡

and it was the third hour, and they crucified him.
በሰቀሉትም ጊዜ ሦስት ሰዓት ነበረ።

and it was said to the people , " will you congregate
ለሰዎቹም « እናንተ ተሰብስባችኋልን » ተባለ ፡ ፡

then he drew out his hand and it was luminous to the onlookers .
እጁንም አወጣ ፡ ፡ እርሷም ወዲያውኑ ለተመልካቾች ነጭ ኾነች ፡ ፡

he threw down his staff , and it was clearly a serpent .
በትሩንም ጣለ ፡ ፡ እርስዋም ወዲያውኑ ግልጽ እባብ ኾነች ፡ ፡

and he pulled out his hand , and it was white to the onlookers .
እጁንም አወጣ ፡ ፡ እርሷም ወዲያውኑ ለተመልካቾች ነጭ ኾነች ፡ ፡

and he pulled his hand ; and it was white , for all to see .
እጁንም አወጣ ፡ ፡ ወዲያውም እርሷ ለተመልካቾች ( የምታበራ ) ነጭ ኾነች ፡ ፡

so he cast his staff ; and it was a serpent , plain to see .
በትሩንም ጣለ ፡ ፡ እርሷም ወዲያውኑ ግልጽ እባብ ኾነች ፡ ፡

and in thamud 's also was a lesson , when it was said unto them : enjoy yourselves for a season .
በሰሙድም ለእነርሱ « እስከ ጊዜ ( ሞታችሁ ) ድረስ ተጣቀሙ » በተባሉ ጊዜ ( ምልክት አልለ ) ፡ ፡

and he that was healed wist not who it was: for jesus had conveyed himself away, a multitude being in that place.
ዳሩ ግን በዚያ ስፍራ ሕዝብ ሰለ ነበሩ ኢየሱስ ፈቀቅ ብሎ ነበርና የተፈወሰው ሰው ማን እንደ ሆነ አላወቀም።

( and it was said unto his son ) : o john ! hold fast the scripture .
« የሕያ ሆይ ! መጽሐፉን በጥብቅ ያዝ ! » ( አልነው ) ፡ ፡ ጥበብንም በሕፃንነቱ ሰጠነው ፡ ፡

and it was said to the people , “ have you ( also ) gathered ? ”
ለሰዎቹም « እናንተ ተሰብስባችኋልን » ተባለ ፡ ፡

and ( it was said ) : what hath made thee hasten from thy folk , o moses ?
« ሙሳ ሆይ ! ከሕዝቦችህ ምን አስቸኮለህም » ( ተባለ ) ፡ ፡

allah draws a parable : there was a town secure and peaceful , its provision coming abundantly from every place . but it was ungrateful toward allah s blessings ’ .
አላህ ጸጥተኛ ፣ የረካች ፣ ሲሳይዋ ሰፊ ኾኖ ከየስፍራው ይመጣላት የነበረችውንና በአላህ ጸጋዎች የካደችውን አላህም ይሠሩት በነበሩት ኃጢኣት የረኃብንና የፍርሃትን ቅጣቶች ያቀመሳትን ከተማ ( መካን ) ምሳሌ አደረገ ፡ ፡

and of the evil ones , were some who dived for him , and did other work besides ; and it was we who guarded them .
ከሰይጣናትም ለእርሱ ( ሉልን ለማውጣት ) የሚጠልሙንና ከዚያም ሌላ ያለን ሥራ የሚሠሩን ( ገራንለት ) ፡ ፡ ለእነሱም ተጠባባቂዎች ነበርን ፡ ፡

he cast it down , and behold ! it was a snake , moving quickly .
ጣላትም ፡ ፡ ወዲያውም እርሷ የምትሮጥ እባብ ኾነች ፡ ፡

he threw it , and behold ! it was a snake , active in motion .
ጣላትም ፡ ፡ ወዲያውም እርሷ የምትሮጥ እባብ ኾነች ፡ ፡

' you are our guardian other than them ! no , rather they worshipped the jinn , and it was them which most believed '
( መላእክቶቹም ) « ጥራት ይገባህ ከእነርሱ ሌላ ረዳታችን አንተ ብቻ ነህ ፡ ፡ ( እንደሚሉት ) አይደለም ይልቁንም ጋኔንን ይግገዙ ነበሩ ፡ ፡ አብዛኞቻቸው በእነርሱ አማኞች ናቸው » ይላሉ ፡ ፡

and it was said , “ woe to those bondmen – whenever a noble messenger comes to them , they mock at him ! ”
በባሮቹ ላይ ዋ ቁልጭት ! ከመልክተኛ አንድም አይመጣቸውም በእርሱ የሚሳለቁበት ቢኾኑ እንጅ ፡ ፡

and ( it was said unto him ) : take in thine hand a branch and smite therewith , and break not thine oath . lo !
« በእጅህም ጭብጥ አርጩሜን ያዝ ፡ ፡ በእርሱም ( ሚስትህን ) ምታ ፡ ፡ ማላህንም አታፍርስ » ( አልነው ) ፡ ፡ እኛ ታጋሸ ኾኖ አገኘነው ፡ ፡ ምን ያምር ባሪያ እርሱ በጣም መላሳ ነው ፡ ፡
