መበተንን በታኞች በኾኑት ( ነፋሶች ) ፡ ፡

i swear by the wind that scatters far and wide ,
መበተንን በታኞች በኾኑት ( ነፋሶች ) ፡ ፡

and when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased.
ወደ ታንኳይቱም በወጡ ጊዜ ነፋሱ ተወ።

wherefore then - when the soul cometh up to the wind-pipe -
( ነፍስ ) ጉረሮንም በደረሰች ጊዜ ፡ ፡

and the winds that blow violently
በኀይል መንፈስን ነፋሾች በኾኑትም ፣

and by the winds that blow violently ,
በኀይል መንፈስን ነፋሾች በኾኑትም ፣

by the winds sent forth with beneficence .
ተከታታይ ኾነው በተላኩት ፣

by ( the winds ) that scatter dust .
መበተንን በታኞች በኾኑት ( ነፋሶች ) ፡ ፡

by the winds which carry dust particles ,
መበተንን በታኞች በኾኑት ( ነፋሶች ) ፡ ፡

by [ the winds ] that pluck out vehemently
በኃይል አውጪዎች በኾኑት ፤

and by the winds that scatter clouds and rain ;
መበተንን በታኞች በኾኑትም ፤ ( ነፋሶች ) ፣

so we subjected to him the wind , that ran at his commandment , softly , wherever he might light on ,
ነፋስንም በትእዛዙ ወደፈለገበት ስፍራ ልዝብ ኾና የምትፈስ ስትኾን ገራንለት ፡ ፡

and [ by ] the winds that spread [ clouds ]
መበተንን በታኞች በኾኑትም ፤ ( ነፋሶች ) ፣

and unto solomon ( we subdued ) the wind in its raging . it set by his command toward the land which we had blessed .
ለሱለይማንም ነፋስን በኀይል የምትነፍስ በትዕዛዙ ወደዚያች በእርሷ ውስጥ በረከትን ወደ አደረግንባት ምድር ( ወደ ሻም ) የምትፈስ ስትኾን ( ገራንለት ) ፡ ፡ በነገሩ ሁሉም ዐዋቂዎች ነበርን ፡ ፡

and if he wills , he stills the wind , and they remain motionless on its back . surely in that are signs for every man enduring , thankful .
ቢሻ ነፋሱን የረጋ ያደርገዋል ፡ ፡ በባሕሩም ጀርባ ላይ ረጊዎች ይኾናሉ ፡ ፡ በዚህ ውሰጥ በጣም ታጋሽና አመስጋኝ ለኾነ ሁሉ በእርግጥ ምልክቶች አልሉ ፡ ፡

and it is he who sendeth fort the winds as a herald before his mercy and we send down from the heaven water pure .
እርሱም ያ ነፋሶችን አብሳሪዎች ሲኾኑ ከዝናሙ በስተፊት የላከ ነው ፡ ፡ ከሰማይም አጥሪ ውሃን አወረድን ፡ ፡

a similitude of those who disbelieve in their lord : their works are as ashes which the wind bloweth hard upon a stormy day . they have no control of aught that they have earned .
የእነዚያ በጌታቸው የካዱት ሰዎች ምሳሌ ( መልካም ) ሥራዎቻቸው በነፋሻ ቀን ነፋስ በርሱ እንደ በረታችበት አመድ ነው ፡ ፡ በሠሩት ሥራ በምንም ላይ ( ሊጠቀሙ ) አይችሉም ፡ ፡ ይህ እርሱ ሩቅ ጥፋት ነው ፡ ፡

and he it is who sendeth the winds , glad tidings heralding his mercy , and we send down purifying water from the sky ,
እርሱም ያ ነፋሶችን አብሳሪዎች ሲኾኑ ከዝናሙ በስተፊት የላከ ነው ፡ ፡ ከሰማይም አጥሪ ውሃን አወረድን ፡ ፡

and ( we made subservient ) to sulaiman the wind blowing violent , pursuing its course by his command to the land which we had blessed , and we are knower of all things .
ለሱለይማንም ነፋስን በኀይል የምትነፍስ በትዕዛዙ ወደዚያች በእርሷ ውስጥ በረከትን ወደ አደረግንባት ምድር ( ወደ ሻም ) የምትፈስ ስትኾን ( ገራንለት ) ፡ ፡ በነገሩ ሁሉም ዐዋቂዎች ነበርን ፡ ፡

and he it is who sends the winds as heralds of glad tidings , going before his mercy , and we send down pure water from the sky , -
እርሱም ያ ነፋሶችን አብሳሪዎች ሲኾኑ ከዝናሙ በስተፊት የላከ ነው ፡ ፡ ከሰማይም አጥሪ ውሃን አወረድን ፡ ፡
