እነርሱ ( የመላእክትን ንግግር ) ከመስማት ተከለከሉ ናቸው ፡ ፡

በመስራት ላይ

እኔ ነኝ

and the mountains will have been removed away , and they will have become as mirage .
ጋራዎችም በሚነዱበት ( እንደ ) ሲሪብዱም በሚኾኑበት ( ቀን ) ነው ፡ ፡

indeed they have been removed far from even ( a chance of ) hearing it .
እነርሱ ( የመላእክትን ንግግር ) ከመስማት ተከለከሉ ናቸው ፡ ፡

the byzantians have been overcome .
ሩም ተሸነፈች ፡ ፡

and the mountains have been taken ,
ተራራዎችም በተነዱ ጊዜ ፤

( it will be said ) : ' of this you have been heedless . therefore , we have now removed your covering .
« ከዚህ ነገር በእርግጥ በዝንጋቴ ውስጥ ነበርክ ፡ ፡ ሺፋንህንም ካንተ ላይ ገለጥንልህ ፡ ፡ ስለዚህ ዛሬ ዓይንህ ስለታም ነው » ( ይባላል ) ፡ ፡

about which they have been differing ?
ከዚያ እነርሱ በእርሱ የተለያዩበት ከኾነው ፡ ፡

and the mountains , how they have been set ?
ወደ ተራራዎችም እንዴት እንደ ተቸከሉ !

and we have been belying the day of requital .
« በፍርዱ ቀንም እናስተባብል ነበርን ፡ ፡

and they have been persisting in the heinous offence .
በታላቅ ኀጢአትም ላይ ይዘወትሩ ነበሩና ፡ ፡

' this is what we have been seeking ' said he , and they retraced their footsteps
( ሙሳም ) ይህ እንፈልገው የነበርነው ነው አለው ፡ ፡ በፈለጎቻቸውም ላይ እየተከተሉ ተመለሱ ፡ ፡

by our own command -- we have been sending messages ,
ከእኛ ዘንድ የኾነ ትእዛዝ ሲኾን ( አወረድነው ) ፡ ፡ እኛ ( መልክተኞችን ) ላኪዎች ነበርን ፡ ፡

he said , " then do you see what you have been worshipping ,
« ትግገዙት የነበራችሁትን አስተዋላችሁን

he said , ' and have you considered what you have been serving ,
« ትግገዙት የነበራችሁትን አስተዋላችሁን

as an ordinance from us . we have been sending [ apostles ]
ከእኛ ዘንድ የኾነ ትእዛዝ ሲኾን ( አወረድነው ) ፡ ፡ እኛ ( መልክተኞችን ) ላኪዎች ነበርን ፡ ፡

[ it will be said ] , " this is the day of judgement which you have been denying . "
« ይህ ያ በእርሱ ታስተባብሉ የነበራችሁት መለያው ቀን ነው » ( ይባላሉ ) ፡ ፡
