assuredly this is a reminder
ተከልከል ፡ ፡ እርሷ ማስገንዘቢያ ናት ፡ ፡

surely in that is a lesson for him who fears !
በዚህ ውስጥ ለሚፈራ ሰው በእርግጥ መገምገሚያ አለበት ፡ ፡

most surely in this is a message to a people who serve
በዚህ ( ቁርኣን ) ውስጥ ለተገዢዎች ሕዝቦች በቂነት አልለ ፡ ፡

indeed , this is a glorious koran ,
ይልቁንም እርሱ የከበረ ቁርኣን ነው ፡ ፡

most surely this is a certain truth .
ይህ እርሱ እርግጠኛ እውነት ነው ፡ ፡

say : " this is a momentous message ,
በላቸው « እርሱ ( ቁርኣን ) ታላቅ ዜና ነው ፡ ፡

but whoever goes beyond this is a transgressor ;
ከዚያም ወዲያ የፈለገ ሰው እነዚያ እነሱ ድንበር አላፊዎች ናቸው ፡ ፡

allah alternates the day and the night ; indeed in this is a lesson for those who can perceive .
አላህ ሌሊትንና ቀንን ያገላብጣል ፡ ፡ በዚህም ለባለ ውስጥ ዓይኖች በእርግጥ ማስረጃ አልለበት ፡ ፡

god alternates the night and the day -- truly , in this there is a lesson for men of insight .
አላህ ሌሊትንና ቀንን ያገላብጣል ፡ ፡ በዚህም ለባለ ውስጥ ዓይኖች በእርግጥ ማስረጃ አልለበት ፡ ፡

ሰዎችን የሚሸፍን ( በኾነ ጭስ ) ይህ አሳማሚ ቅጣት ነው ፡ ፡

behold ! in this is a sign for those who believed .
በዚህ ውስጥ በእርግጥ ለምእምናን መገሰጫ አለ ፡ ፡

and that you shall serve me ? this is a straight path .
ተገዙኝም ፤ ይህ ቀጥተኘ መንገድ ነው ፤ ( በማለትም ) ፡ ፡

አላህ ሌሊትንና ቀንን ያገላብጣል ፡ ፡ በዚህም ለባለ ውስጥ ዓይኖች በእርግጥ ማስረጃ አልለበት ፡ ፡

( this is ) a message sent down from the lord of the worlds .
