በሰማችሁትም ጊዜ በዚህ ልንናገር ለእኛ አይገባንም ፡ ፡ ጥራት ይገባህ ፡ ፡ ይህ ከባድ ቅጥፈት ነው ፤ አትሉም ነበርን

and when our punishment overtook them they had nothing to say except crying out : " we have indeed been sinners . "
ቅጣታችንም በመጣባቸው ጊዜ « ጸሎታቸው እኛ በደለኞች ነበርን » ከማለት በቀር ሌላ አልነበረም ፡ ፡

but i see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.
ነገር ግን በብልቶቼ ከአእምሮዬ ሕግ ጋር የሚዋጋውንና በብልቶቼ ባለ በኃጢአት ሕግ የሚማርከኝን ሌላ ሕግ አያለሁ።

and call to mind what time allah will say : o ' isa , son of maryam ! was it thou who said to the people : take me and my mother as two god beside allah ! ' isa will say : hallowed be thou ! it was not for me to say that to which had no right ; had i said it , thou would have surely known it ; thou knowest that which is in my mind and know not that which is in thy mind .
አላህም ፡ - « የመርየም ልጅ ዒሳ ሆይ ! አንተ ለሰዎቹ ፡ - እኔንና እናቴን ከአላህ ሌላ ሁለት አምላኮች አድርጋችሁ ያዙ ብላሃልን » በሚለው ጊዜ ( አስታውስ ) ፡ ፡ « ጥራት ይገባህ ፤ ለእኔ ተገቢዬ ያልኾነን ነገር ማለት ለኔ አይገባኝም ፡ ፡ ብዬው እንደ ኾነም በእርግጥ ዐውቀኸዋል ፡ ፡ በነፍሴ ውስጥ ያለውን ሁሉ ታውቃለህ ፡ ፡ ግን አንተ ዘንድ ያለውን አላውቅም ፡ ፡ አንተ ሩቆችን ሁሉ በጣም ዐዋቂ አንተ ብቻ ነህና » ይላል ፡ ፡
