i want you to tell me that
እንደሱ እንድትለኝ ነው ምፈልገው

but how are you to know ?
አንተ እርሷን ከማስታወስ በምን ውስጥ ነህ ?

indeed , were you to know with certain knowledge ,
በእውነቱ ( የሚጠብቃችሁን ) እርግጠኛ ዕውቀትን ብታውቁ ኖሮ ፤ ( ባልዘናጋችሁ ነበር ) ፡ ፡

should i tell you to whom the satans come ?
ሰይጣናት በማን ላይ እንደሚወርዱ ልንገራችሁን

what makes you to know what the resurrection verifier is ?
አረጋጋጪቱም ምን እንደኾነች ምን አሳወቀህ ?

they want you to make concessions to them and then they will reciprocate .
ብትመሳሰላቸውና ቢመሳሰሉህ ተመኙ ፡ ፡

they want you to hasten the punishment : hell will indeed surround the unbelievers .
በቅጣት ያስቸኩሉሃል ፡ ፡ ገሀነምም ከሓዲዎችን በእርግጥ ከባቢ ናት ፡ ፡

god intends to redeem you , but those who follow their desires want you to turn away utterly .
አላህም በእናንተ ላይ ጸጸትን ሊቀበል ይሻል ፡ ፡ እነዚያም ፍላጎታቸውን የሚከተሉት ( ከውነት ) ትልቅን መዘንበል እንድትዘነበሉ ይፈልጋሉ ፡ ፡

god will pay them on that day their just due in full , and they will come to know that god is the tangible reality .
በዚያ ቀን አላህ እውነተኛ ዋጋቸውን ይሞላላቸዋል ፡ ፡ አላህም እርሱ መኖሩ የተረጋገጠ ( ሁሉን ነገር ) ገላጭ መኾኑን ያውቃሉ ፡ ፡

they want you to bring upon them their punishment without delay . god never disregards his promise .
አላህም ቀጠሮውን በፍጹም የማይጥስ ሲሆን በቅጣት ያቻኩሉሃል ፡ ፡ እጌታህም ዘንድ አንዱ ቀን ከምትቆጥሩት ( ቀን ) እንደ ሺሕ ዓመት ነው ፡ ፡

blessed is he who could give you palaces and gardens wherein streams would flow , far better than what they want you to have .
ያ ቢሻ ከዚህ ( ካሉት ) የተሻለን ከሥሮቻቸው ወንዞች የሚፈሱባቸውን አትክልቶች ላንተ የሚያደርግልህ ሕንጻ ቤቶችንም ላንተ የሚያደርግልህ ጌታ ችሮታው በዛ ፡ ፡

and what will make you to know what at-tariq ( night-comer ) is ?
የሌሊት መጪውም ምን እንደ ኾነ ምን አሳወቀህ ?

answer allah and the apostle when he summons you to that which will give you life . know that allah intervenes between a man and his heart and that toward him you will be mustered .
እናንተ ያመናችሁ ሆይ ! ( መልክተኛው ) ሕያው ወደሚያደርጋችሁ እምነት በጠራችሁ ጊዜ ለአላህና ለመልክተኛው ታዘዙ ፡ ፡ አላህም በሰውየውና በልቡ መካከል የሚጋርድ መኾኑን ወደርሱም የምትሰበሰቡ መኾናችሁን እወቁ ፡ ፡

thank you for your kindness and sympathy during our time of loss. it gives us much comfort to know that you are thinking of us as we grieve our son’s death. warm regards,
በሐዘናችን ወቅት ላሳያችሁ ደግነትና ርኅራኄ አመሰግናችኋለሁ። የልጃችንን ሞት ስናዝን ስለ እኛ እንደምታስብ ማወቃችን በጣም ያጽናናናል ። ሞቅ ያለ አክብሮት፣

o ye who believe ! answer allah and the apostle when he calleth you to that which quickeneth you , and know that verily allah interposeth between a man and his heart , and that verily unto him ye all shall be gathered .
እናንተ ያመናችሁ ሆይ ! ( መልክተኛው ) ሕያው ወደሚያደርጋችሁ እምነት በጠራችሁ ጊዜ ለአላህና ለመልክተኛው ታዘዙ ፡ ፡ አላህም በሰውየውና በልቡ መካከል የሚጋርድ መኾኑን ወደርሱም የምትሰበሰቡ መኾናችሁን እወቁ ፡ ፡

and allah indeed wants to turn graciously towards you ; but those who follow their lusts would want you to drift far away from the right way .
አላህም በእናንተ ላይ ጸጸትን ሊቀበል ይሻል ፡ ፡ እነዚያም ፍላጎታቸውን የሚከተሉት ( ከውነት ) ትልቅን መዘንበል እንድትዘነበሉ ይፈልጋሉ ፡ ፡

he who obeys the messenger obeys god . as for those who turn away , know that we have not sent you to be their keeper .
መልክተኛውን የሚታዘዝ ሰው በእርግጥ አላህን ታዘዘ ፡ ፡ ከትእዛዝም የሸሸ ሰው ( አያሳስብህ ) ፡ ፡ በእነሱ ላይ ጠባቂ አድርገን አልላክንህምና ፡ ፡

know that it is allah who revives the earth after its death ; we have indeed illustrated the signs for you , for you to understand .
አላህ ምድርን ከሞተች በኋላ ሕያው የሚያደርጋት መኾኑን ዕወቁ ፡ ፡ ታወቁ ዘንድ አንቀጾችን ለእናንተ በእርግጥ አብራራንላችሁ ፡ ፡

allah wants to accept your repentance , but those who follow [ their ] passions want you to digress [ into ] a great deviation .
አላህም በእናንተ ላይ ጸጸትን ሊቀበል ይሻል ፡ ፡ እነዚያም ፍላጎታቸውን የሚከተሉት ( ከውነት ) ትልቅን መዘንበል እንድትዘነበሉ ይፈልጋሉ ፡ ፡
