ለእርሱም እኛ ዘንድ መቅረብ ፤ መልካም መመለሻም በእርግጥ አልለው ፡ ፡

the pious ones will receive a beautiful paradise from their lord .
ለጥንቁቆቹ በጌታቸው ዘንድ መጠቀሚያ ገነቶች አሏቸው ፡ ፡

they will suffer in hell . what a terrible dwelling !
የሚገቧት ስትኾን ገሀነም ( አለቻቸው ) ፡ ፡ ምንጣፊቱም ምንኛ ከፋች ፡ ፡

they will suffer in hell . what a terrible place to stay !
( አገሪቱም ) የሚገቧት ስትኾን ገሀነም ናት ፡ ፡ ምን ትከፋም መርጊያ !

for those who believe and do righteous deeds — for them is happiness and a beautiful return .
እነዚያ ያመኑትና መልካም ሥራዎችን የሠሩት ለእነሱ ደግ ኑሮ መልካም መመለሻም አላቸው ፡ ፡

hell — they will roast in it . what a miserable settlement .
( አገሪቱም ) የሚገቧት ስትኾን ገሀነም ናት ፡ ፡ ምን ትከፋም መርጊያ !

it is you who brought this calamity upon us ! ” so what a wretched destination .
( ተከታዮቹ ) ይላሉ « ይልቁን እናንተ አይስፋችሁ ፡ ፡ እናንተ ( ክህደቱን ) ለእኛ አቀረባችሁት ፡ ፡ መርጊያይቱም ( ገሀነም ) ከፋች ፡ ፡ »

and we showered a rain upon them ; so what a wretched rain for those who were warned !
በእነርሱም ላይ ( የድንጋይ ) ዝናብን አዘነብንባቸው ፡ ፡ የተስፈራሪዎቹም ዝናብ ከፋ ፡ ፡

a brief enjoyment , then their abode is hell . what a miserable resort .
አነስተኛ ጥቅም ነው ፡ ፡ ከዚያም መኖሪያቸው ገሀነም ናት ፡ ፡ ምን ትከፋም ምንጣፍ !

and he enjoyed , indeed , a near approach to us , and a beautiful place of ( final ) return .
ለእርሱም እኛ ዘንድ መቅረብ ፤ መልካም መመለሻም በእርግጥ አልለው ፡ ፡

and for those who disbelieved in their lord , is the punishment of hell ; and what a wretched outcome !
ለእነዚያም በጌታቸው ለካዱት የገሀነም ቅጣት አልላቸው ፡ ፡ መመለሻይቱም ከፋች !

a curse followed them in this world , and shall follow them on the day of resurrection . what a foul gift to be given !
በዚችም ( በቅርቢቱ ዓለም ) እርግማንን አስከተልናቸው ፡ ፡ በትንሣኤም ቀን ( እንደዚሁ ) ፡ ፡ የተሰጡት ስጦታ ምንኛ ከፋ !

enter the gates of hell , to remain therein forever . what a terrible dwelling for the arrogant .
የገሀነምን በሮች በውስጧ ዘውታሪዎች ስትኾኑ ግቡ ( ይባላሉ ) ፡ ፡ የትዕቢተኞችም መኖሪያ ( ገሀነም ) ምን ትከፋ !

he shall stand at the head of his people on the day of resurrection , and will bring them down to the fire . what a wretched destination to be led to !
በትንሣኤ ቀን ሕዝቦቹን ይቀድማል ፡ ፡ ወደ እሳትም ያወርዳቸዋል ፡ ፡ የሚገቡትም አገባብ ምንኛ ከፋ !

and a curse followed them in the world , and on the day of resurrection ; what a wretched gift is what they received .
በዚችም ( በቅርቢቱ ዓለም ) እርግማንን አስከተልናቸው ፡ ፡ በትንሣኤም ቀን ( እንደዚሁ ) ፡ ፡ የተሰጡት ስጦታ ምንኛ ከፋ !

and those who disbelieved and denied our signs , are the people of the fire – to remain in it forever ; and what a wretched outcome !
እነዚያም የካዱና በአንቀጾቻችን ያስተባበሉ እነዚያ በውስጡ ዘውታሪዎች ሲኾኑ የእሳት ጓዶች ናቸው ፤ መመለሻቸውም ከፋ !

her lord accepted her with a gracious reception , and brought her a beautiful upbringing , and entrusted her to the care of zechariah . whenever zechariah entered upon her in the sanctuary , he found her with provision .
ጌታዋም በደህና አቀባበል ተቀበላት ፡ ፡ በመልካም አስተዳደግም አፋፋት ፡ ፡ ዘከሪያም አሳደጋት ፤ ዘከሪያ በርሷ ላይ በምኹራቧ በገባ ቁጥር እርስዋ ዘንድ ሲሳይን አገኘ ፡ ፡ « መርየም ሆይ ! ይህ ለአንቺ ከየት ነው » አላት ፡ ፡ « እርሱ ከአላህ ዘንድ ነው ፡ ፡ አላህ ለሚሻው ሰው ሲሳዩን ያለ ድካም ይሰጣል » አለችው ፡ ፡

and then the record of their deeds shall be placed before them and you will see the guilty full of fear for what it contains , and will say : " woe to us ! what a record this is !
( ለሰው ሁሉ ) መጽሐፉም ይቀርባል ፡ ፡ ወዲያውም ከሓዲዎችን በውስጡ ካለው ነገር ፈሪዎች ኾነው ታያቸዋለህ ፡ ፡ « ዋ ጥፋታችን ! ለዚህ መጽሐፍ ( ከሥራ ) ትንሽንም ትልቅንም የቆጠራት ቢኾን እንጂ የማይተወው ምን አለው » ይላሉም ፡ ፡ የሰሩትንም ነገር ሁሉ ቀራቢ ኾኖ ያገኙታል ፡ ፡ ጌታህም አንድንም አይበድልም ፡ ፡

" for those who believe and work righteousness , is ( every ) blessedness , and a beautiful place of ( final ) return . "
